This was a really wonderful sit. Woody is a an active, but still chilled dog. We went running together and played throw-and-fetch games in a dog park. He was really easy to take of and I am missing him already. Cory is a very friendly and easy-going person. We had a coffee together, she showed me everything and left me contact details I case of emergencies. The central location of the flat is just awesome with nice restaurants, shops and public transportation in walking distance. The flat is a really nice Altbau. I felt at home immediately. I really would looove to sit Woody again in the future and can recommend it to other sitters. Thank you very much!
It was a joy to house sit for Sarah and look after her lovely elderly cat, Poppet. Poppet slept a lot of the time, being a grand old dame of 17 years old. When she was awake she was a very chatty cat and loved snuggles and lap time. Sarah has a light, plant filled home in a quiet cul de sac with views over open countryside in a very pretty village on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. There were abundant country walks around about and lots of lovely Yorkshire villages to visit. Hull and Beverly were also within easy reach. Communication with Sarah was easy and she was very responsive. The weather during my sit was pretty chilly but her home was warm and welcoming. She left me home made biscuits as a treat and lots of information on local attractions. I can heartily recommend sitting for Sarah, if I don't get my foot in the door first!
Loved my stay here since they stole my hearts since day one! Natalie was accommodating when I had an exhausting flight and trusted me with their fur babies. She and Dan provided me with detailed instructions and shared local recommendations I needed to make myself at home. Their place is exactly as described, comfortable, and I love the amount of cherry blossoms I get to see in this safe and friendly neighborhood. Alexandria has a breathtaking classic colonial charm that I adore, and it is close to Washington DC. You are greeted by Mello, who is a curious socialite, hence his name. Mello has cute puppy energy and loves to run and play like there's no tomorrow! He loves to cuddle right by you while keeping you company even if you are feeling sad. Moon and Pie are quite sassy, but very affectionate once you get to know them. Pie is sweet and would follow me everywhere just like a dog. She occasionally bullies Mello and at times, Moon will join forces with her. I would not hesitate to come back and recommend this stay :)
