Dog Sitters in Macomb County, MI

Catherine was the best! We loved having her come and sit for our cats. I didn’t worry and was very relieved to have her at our house and watching our cats. I highly recommend Catherine to anyone. She is wonderful!!

Marny and Brian were excellent. We had to leave early in the morning and they were able to arrive early, as they promised. We didn'nt have much time together but they asked all the right questions and we were confident when we left. Turns out, we did forget something but they were excellent about contacting us for additional information. The cats were well cared for and happy when we got home. And the house was clean and tidy. They even washed and dried the sheets before they left! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and I'd have them back any time.

Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? If the rating was to 10 stars, she would get 10 stars from me. Sensational sitter. The cats just loved her and were very settled with her. What a fabulous cat sitter. The house was great and there were no problems that Brittany couldn’t deal with.

Rodica and her kids were great, they left the house cleaner than I left it and the dogs were happy and healthy when I got back.

We had Patty and Evie watch our dog Ice Pop for a whole week during Christmas time. Ice pop is an anxious dog and she warmed up to them very quickly. They sent daily updates and even bought Ice Pop a few treats from a local pet store which was VERY nice. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Patty and Evie to any dog owner, no questions asked. I hope we can use them again in the future. And the icing on the cake was that they left our house in immaculate condition upon their departure and helped put presents under our tree for our toddler to come home to :). All around a wonderful experience.

Lizabeth was GREAT! She has also done house and pet sitting for friends of ours and they love her, too. Our cats loved her and she gave them lots of good attention and care. She kept us posted while we were away and left the house in great shape. Can't say enough good things about her. Would highly recommend.

Carol did an incredible job with our 3 cats and house! The house was spotless when we came home and our cats were happy and well taken care of! We would have her sit for us again in the future!

Cyndi and her family were absolutely amazing to work with during our last trip. The pets were clearly happy, we got lots of cute pics and the new toys for them to play with were super sweet. The house was very clean when we arrived at home and the note with an update on towels and sheets took the guesswork out of our settling back in after a long drive, much appreciated! I highly recommend this family for future pets!!!

We have used zeewoi for a few years and have had some wonderful sitters in that time. We usually are most comfortable picking from zeewoi experienced sitters but we also like to give new applicants a chance to start. This was the case with Paisley and Anthony. We were impressed at first by the well written and eloquent application we received. The face to face on line meet reassured us we had found a good match. They were communicative and organized. The fur kids were all very content and happy and not stressed by our absence. They were diligent in maintaining our routine with walks and feedings and day to day upkeep of the pets and house. Great pictures and updates. We would have them sit again. Thankful for kind and responsible people like these two. Thanks again for the great care you both provided.

Sharon was a very reliable sitter, she showed up on time and was available to stay longer when there was a possibility of our return being delayed by a day or two. This was a big relief, knowing that our dog Charlie and cat Asterix wouldn't be left without care. Due to flight changes, we actually returned a day earlier, which Sharon gracefully accepted. Communication with Sharon was excellent, before and during the sit. She was always prompt at replying, provided us with anecdotes and pictures of the "kids" and walked or played in the yard with Charlie. She visited family in the area while being mindful of our pets' needs and wasn't absent for too long. Sharon washed the guestroom's bedding before she left and provided us with feedback on Charlie and Asterix's adventures (one having visited the neighbours' dogs and the other having came home past his curfew a few times!). Sharon handled the situation perfectly and we would welcome her again as a sitter. Thank you, Sharon, for having taken good care of Charlie and Asterix!

When Magdalena and Tommaso applied, I looked at their profile and did not see much of review and what they had was all for dogs. After I had a video talk, I thought they might be good and welcomed them to my place with a little cat. When they came to get a key, I could tell that they were cat people. My cat doesn’t come out of under the bed but she did much quicker than usual, and more than that, she started playing with them…! I assume they enjoyed themselves as much as my kitty did, and I really appreciate their care for my fur girl full of energy. She really needed a good amount of play time. Magdalena was very quick in communication. She was not only quick in reply but also kind and responsible. It was nice to come back to a clean home with a happy cat after a busy work trip.
