Richard had us stay the night before he was due to leave so that he could show us what to do, where to walk the dogs and also so he could cook us a nice meal! Richard was very kind and hospitable while we were there. The dogs were wonderful and really easy to take care of and the same goes for all of the other pets! Thanks Richard for helping us as a previous sit had cancelled on us!
Everything about sitting for Jonah and Broc was fabulous. Communication with Emma was warm, thorough and easy throughout our stay. Her beautiful spacious home nestled in the Wicklow hills with amazing sea views was so very comfortable. Jonah and Broc were affectionate, fun and so well behaved that after only three days we hated saying goodbye. We would not hesitate to sit for the boys again.
Kim and Peter have a lovely home in a very nice neighborhood. They gave a good orientation as well as thorough welcome guide. Communication throughout was very good. Mackenzie the cat was such fun to win over. I was so pleased when she decided to sleep with me or seek me out on the sofa. She went off for alone time every so often but came back for belly rubs and hide and seek with kibbles. I found her to be great company. This was a very enjoyable sit.
House sitting for Anita and Andy was a pleasure. They are both very kind and genuine people who truly love their dogs, Leyla and Stan. They gave me clear instructions about their feeding and walking routines and took me on some walks before they left which was very helpful. They were also very thoughtful to have bought me a basket of assorted breads, cookies, and chocolate before they left, sort of an Easter basket I didn't expect On the night they returned they also treated me to pizza and we had a chance to visit for a while before I left the next morning I recommend them highly.
We loved the house and the dogs. Beena and Zuma are playful, friendly and very well behaved. They love running around in the forest or on the beach. But you can also take them to a pub or leave them at home for a few hours. We also loved the house: it's spacious and comfortable. The location is great as well: a stone's throw away from the South Downs and a 20 minute drive from the beach.
Ara has created a lovely home and yard in a beautiful gated neighborhood. Their home is equipped with everything one needs and more, including a hot tub to enjoy under the desert stars. Bentley, Cookie, Newt, and Sophie are all adorable with their unique personalities and very easy to care for. The four of them get along very well, and they are able to independently access the large fenced yard at their will. A great sit all around.

I truly can not say enough about Hounds Town Matawan! Coming to HT has been so beneficial for our dog Ollie. He can get his energy out, exercise, and even has doggie best buds now! The people who work there truly care about the dogs that go there, and you really feel that. We are very attached to our dog and I always feel like he is in safe hands when we drop him off. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. This place is great. Every employee clearly knows dogs and loves dogs. It's always clean and smells good. It's really a great place. Most telling of all is how my dog reacts to coming here. She pretty much pulls me in from the parking lot, her tail wagging all the way. They are great! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great job to the whole staff!
This place is amazing the staff is treats you like their own and treat your fur babies like their own. They are so welcoming that it make me feel so safe letting my baby girl play there. It’s always clean and my girl Casey always pulls me to go in. Best dog day care ever. They don’t care what size or breed or behavior issues your dog has they will treat the same. My dog used to not be able to play with other dogs now she does thanks to this amazing staff❤️❤️
This is the best place that we ever boarded our dog. We already tried 3 others in the past and this place by far the best. The people we encountered there were so nice and professional. They were very attentive to our needs and worries. Place is very clean. They let our dog play with like tempered dogs and my dog was picked up by us and found clean and well taken care of. We strongly recommend boarding your dog here worry free.
I started taking my pup to HT to play with dogs his own age and size, and was pleasantly surprised how much he loved to be there. He is smiling and happy from the moment he gets there and is greeted by his human friends, then goes to play with his doggy friends. He also gets great spa baths and smells delicious when coming home. As a two year old pup, he has lots of energy to burn, and when he gets home, he eats dinner and tries to resist the "hounds town hangover" but all the exercise and playtime usually takes over and he is ready for bedtime. Even my older dog and grand-dog also became "townies". - We absolutely LOVE Hounds Town as well as all the staff, such sweet and caring humans! Bring your pup!
Walking in I did not know what to expect. Walking out I had a smile from ear to ear. Totally professional and caring. Needed to find a place for my dog to stay. Was having work done at my house. My 3 year old rescue is usually very nervous around new people making it difficult to find the right boarding place for her. I spoke with one of the managers, Shauntae, and she assured me that my Nugget would be well cared for. I was allowed to bring my dog to the facility so she could familiarize herself with the new place and meet the staff. I was skeptical at first but her first day was a success! The managers and owners listened to my concerns allowing me to feel comfortable leaving her for a few hours during the opening weekend.
This place has been absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and loving towards the dogs, very clean environment, and my dog always comes home so happy! Lots of pictures, videos, and updates posted throughout the day too :)
My pit honey LOVES this place!! They post a bunch of pictures and videos throughout the day, and keep us updated on how she’s doing. She’s usually nervous with new people but she loved all of the staff right away❤️ she comes home superrrr tired and ready to sleep for days!

Giselle and Tori took amazing care of Charlie while we were away on vacation. We were nervous to leave her, but Giselle was so wonderful with updating us and providing plenty of photos of Charlie through the week. Giselle is caring and considerate of the needs of our Rottie Dakota. She needs special care and takes time to warm up to people. She always remembers Giselle no matter how much time has gone by. We trust Giselle and Dakota loves her. When we go away or have a day we are not around Giselle shows up and is able to give Dakota the medication she needs and the love and care she deserves. She always takes pictures, gives treats, and leaves a note on how the visit went. We don’t need to worry. We definitely recommend her.
We are very grateful that we met Giselle. When we first met her she made us feel at ease. We have 4 dogs ranging in age from 1.5 years old to 15 years old. We also have a 3 year old pineapple conure who can be quite sassy. One of our dogs was traumatized as a puppy and we have always been cautious who gets to meet him because he is so nervous. Giselle is calm and supportive and has made our nervous guy very comfortable. He is also on a very specific diet due to allergies and she makes sure he only gets safe treats and food. We have a 15 year old puggle that is blind and going deaf. Giselle makes sure that she is always part of the group and not left out. She provides great specialized care to her. She is wonderful with our Rottweiler puppy who can be challenging at times. She always makes sure the rules are followed. This past weekend Giselle witnessed our 5 year old pug having a seizure. She immediately took action to comfort him and contacted us with great detail describing the seizure which was beneficial for us to inform our vet on his visit. Giselle always makes sure she takes the time to interact with our pineapple conure giving him some treats and scratches on the head. She also let's him climb onto her shoulder which he loves. When we made the decision to find a pet sitter we were very nervous. Giselle made us feel at ease right away. When she walked into our home the first time our fur babies were comfortable with her immediately. We especially appreciate the detailed descriptions that she sends us for every visit. She sends pictures of the kids as well a specific details of the visit. She let's us know things like how they were acting, what they played with and what treats they had Giselle did not disappoint she has provided superior care we highly recommend her service.

We booked daily at-home visits for our cat and 2 Holland Lop bunnies. Giselle and Kelsea visited us a few weeks prior to the first booking, and asked all the right questions. The Walkies app that they use is great. I can check appointment dates and invoices, track when the sitters begin their visit, and follow the care taken for each of them. We looked forward to the daily pictures Giselle and Kelsea would send! Our cat is extremely shy, and even he came out every day to say hello to them. We've already booked With Love Pet Care again for our next vacation; we know our babies will be in good hands.
Giselle and Kelsea were awesome with our two German Shepherds! They did overnight stays and daily drop in visits and were sure to provide updates and tons of adorable pictures all week. This was my first time leaving my pups home alone and not boarding them somewhere while my family and I go away on vacation. I am so happy we meet Giselle and decided to leave our boys home. We have used Aunt Darlene several times over many years to watch our 2 cats. Always very pleased with her service. We just called on her again last week. Our cats are both approaching 18 yrs-old and it was a comfort knowing they would be in good hands. Once again it was obvious she made our cats feel safe and secure. I've joked with others that we're not sure who's happier to see Aunt Darlene, us or our cats. It's also a comfort for us to know someone will be watching our place while we're away. She took in our mail and turned lights on and off. She even watered our plants and flowers without being asked. In fact, we had shut the water outside so she had to improvise. She found a container in the kitchen and walked several trips outside to get them water each day in the brutal heat. Above and beyond. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets and hold down the fort while you're away, I recommend you give Darlene a call. You, and your pets, will be glad you did.
We are extremely happy with our experience with Aunt Darlene's. Darlene and our dog walker (Lori) provided excellent care for the 5 plus years we lived in New Jersey. Besides being responsible and reliable, they were very accommodating to our last minute changes and additions. Our dog walker Lori helped us immensely during our time of need. During Noah's bout with cancer, Lori went above and beyond the call of duty to give a multitude of medications and the personal care he needed. Even after he was gone, she was supportive and helped us with the grieving process. She was gentle and kind with our dogs, and we trust her without question. Along with having one dog with cancer, she took care of our difficult dog Storm at the same time. Storm has issues with aggression and anxiety and Lori and Darlene handled her with patience and affection. Additionally, they were careful to follow all the crazy particulars and rules we had. Having two dominant dogs, they needed to be walked separately and have no physical interaction. There were a number of accommodations we needed, and Darlene and Lori were happy to oblige. We will be forever grateful for their service and only wish we could bring them with us to our new location!
Absolutely love Aunt Darlene's pet sitting service for my cat Charlie!! We have been using this service specifically Maryann for over a year now. We have used them about 3 times so far and they deliver the best care for my cat and are trustworthy! Charlie loves Maryann and she takes the time to not only feed him but play with him and water my plants too :). We already are scheduled again to use them in April and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a reliable, loving pet sitting service. Before I found "Aunt Darlene" we had looked at kennels and dog hotels in Central NJ area. We would rather cancel our plans for holidays than leave our dog in any of those places. I found Darlene through Google search engine and was very impressed with their services and what people say about their experiences. I contacted Darlene and we went to meet Lola's "foster family". I was very relieved to see their house. It was ideal for my dog (cage free, plenty of space to room, nice and big outdoor area etc.) So, our Lola, 9 m.o. basset hound, stayed with Erin and Gino for 4 days on Christmas and 2 days on New Year's Eve. Such a nice and caring people! I could easily tell that Lola was in good hands while we were away. We will use their services again as long as Lola shall live! We used Aunt Darlene's for 5 days this week. Stacey Blumberg did a great job taking care of our 2 dogs. She fed them, gave them their medications and gave us daily updates on how they were doing. We are very happy with the care Stacey gave them and will definitely use her and Aunt Darlene's again!

They care about your pets and make sure everything is done in your house to perfection. I have 7 cats which is not easy and I come home and my house looks cleaner then when I leave! We have used Aunt Darlene’s since 2008. We had previously kenneled our dogs when we went away. Suddenly, one of our new rescues developed health issues that could not be handled well in a kennel. We called Darlene and have never looked back. For the past nearly 10 years we have been able to count on them to take excellent care of our dogs while we were away. My dog Mamba loves going to Maggie's and spending time with her and all his friends! Maggie is great with my dog who is very high energy. I trust her with him and feel at ease when she is watching him when I am away. Last week was his birthday and I sent him to Maggie's for the day, and she took photos of him for me wearing the cutest birthday hat and gave him a goodie bag with lots of treats. Every time I pull up to Maggie's house, my dog is super excited and can't wait to go inside. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough positive things about Maggie!! She’s fantastic with all kinds of dogs (I have a blue nose pit). She treats all the dogs with the individual attention they need. She’s professional, responsive and reliable. Maggie’s did an initial interview with our pup to make sure he mixes well, which I appreciated. My fur kid sees Maggie 1-2x/a week for daycare. We’ve also used Maggie’s boarding services when my husband and I have traveled, and Boston feels right at home. Maggie has been our sitter over a year, and I highly recommend you trust her with your fur baby!
Maggie is amazing! Being a new dog mom I had a lot of anxiety leaving our puppy for the first time during a family vacation. I knew from our meet and greet with Maggie our puppy would be in great hands. Maggie is extremely organized, knowledgeable, professional and loving to her pups! She has thought of everything! Boarding was so simple and stress free with her. We received updates while away and Maggie even did a little Easter photo shoot with our puppy. We can’t rave enough about our stay. Our boys are polar opposite brothers & had wonderful care during their stay. Dino is a 130lb Bernese Mountain Dog & TeddyBear is a 40lb Keeshond both came home happy & by the updates & photos from Maggie life was good while we were gone. Just knowing that they were in good hands made our VaCa more enjoyable! We will most definitely be spending more time here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We picked Maggie's Doggie Care based on her wonderful reviews. Our Max is a 10+ y/o bulldog and based on his age and knowing he would be happier in home we decided to use her Pet Sitting Service. We were not disappointed at all! Maggie was super with Max, she not just feed and let him out... she gave him his meds 3 times a day, watered my garden plants, brought in the mail, took the garbage out on garbage day, texted & sent pics everyday we were on vacation. AND she took care of all Max's oopsie's (he's a messy old man :) ). When we returned there was a detailed journal of everything she & Max did while we were away. Never again will I ever use another pet service. She was amazing and we were extremely happy with the job she did.
My dog was well taken care of while there the first time; the second time she had apparently rolled around in excrement and was attempted to be bathed or sprayed clean to no avail. Nothing was said to us, but we bathed her as soon as we got her home and I didn’t complain. However, this business is severely lacking in responses to phone calls and text messages. As a repeat customer for the third time, our travel plans changed and I accepted that I would lose my fully paid $280 boarding fee, but I never received a “thanks for understanding our policy” response, or any acknowledgement of payment or cancellation. In spite of this, I reached out about rescheduling, but never received a response. Since my dog’s pictures were used to promote the business, it feels a little like theft. A response would have been nice…and maybe a $10 discount on a future stay. After generous tipping and bringing back gifts from our trip, it’s a reasonable expectation if you know how to run a business. Highly overrated.
Maggie is top notch! She is a true professional and highly compassionate. She took such great care of our miniature dachshund (sweet but extremely shy) for my wedding weekend and gave me updates/kept me looped in. When I came to pick her up, she was completely fine and settled right back in when we got home. I honestly felt safe trusting my baby girl with her and will be bringing her back! I highly recommend her - she’s an expert and the best!!
I feel so fortunate to have found Maggie to take care of my 2 pups. Both of them require medication and one had severe anxiety and could not be left alone when I first got her. I explained everything to Maggie and she had no problems with taking care of them. Well that was 3 years ago and I’ve been using Maggie’s boarding and daycare services since then. If you want your pups to be treated to the same environment that they are in when they are at home then Maggie is your girl. I highly recommend Maggie Doggie Daycare.
We HIGHLY recommend Maggie and her doggie care services! She has looked after our 3 year old pitbull ever since he was a puppy and treats him like one of her pack. He gets his own vacation at Maggie’s home whenever we go out of town – he loves playing in the yard all day with the other dogs and then relaxing with Maggie at night. She is reliable and responsive and is extremely flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We love getting text updates and pictures while we are away! When our dog was still recovering from ACL surgery, Maggie was very mindful of his limitations. She made sure he never ‘overdid it’ and happily accommodated his need for ‘alone time’. Maggie clearly prioritizes the well-being of all her dogs. A few months ago there was a lost dog in our neighborhood and Maggie was KEY in reuniting the pup with his family. I asked her to just be on the lookout, but she went above and beyond by posting on social media and directing us to other sites which led to sightings … and ultimately to the reunion! We trust our dog with Maggie and are lucky to have found her, especially as many kennels in the area won’t even accept pitbulls. Don’t hesitate – book with Maggie and your dog will thank you for it!
Our pups love Parkwood Kennels. We have taken our dogs twice already and are booking again soon. The individual kennels with indoor and outdoor space are great, especially if you have a dog who doesn’t play well with ours, like one of mine. Patti is so sweet and just loves our babies to pieces! The drop off and pick up hours are limited so you will have to flexible, but for our pups it’s worth it:)
I boarded my small dog here a few years back, and the prices were reasonable. He came back filthy but happy. Unfortunately, I don't think I would return for business since they have put up a large Trump banner across the fence on the main road. It's certainly their right, but it communicates to me that supporting their business also means supporting contributions to things that deeply violate my personal values.
Not my personal experience but a very upsetting recount of events from someone I am extremely close to. A beautiful big dog was treated poorly. The luxurious pup stay the baby was to receive was replaced with solitary confinement and minimal contact with other dogs as well as staff members. The poor thing lost a bunch of weight in a matter of days and isn’t the same as when they were dropped off. There’s no reason to treat a wingless angel this way. ESPECIALLY when the owner is the kind to bring the pup everywhere except where they can’t. They trust kennel workers to treat their children like their own at drop off. Please do better to have sensitivity training for the dogs you guys assume will be too hard to deal with.
Kaelyn is so kind and caring, the only person I trust with my rescued pup for all her grooming needs (especially her nails since she is not a fan of getting her nails trimmed). So happy to have found an amazing groomer!
Parkwood Kennels was absolutely wonderful in taking care of our 2 dogs recently while we were on vacation. Very friendly, clean kennel. Affordable price. Definitely recommend them. 5 stars all the way!
Parkwood Kennels is the only place I trust with our dog. The team is care givers go above and beyond to make sure our dog is comfortable while we are traveling. The kennels are clean. My dogs need are met. My phone calls are always answered. I highly recommend Parkwood to anyone in need of a home away from home for your pups.

We've been using scruffy puppy weekly for about 6 months and it's been awesome for us and our pup! The dog walkers are all great with our dog and send us nice pics of him and are genuinely really kind, both to him and us. I was lucky enough to find Christina about a year ago when I moved to this area. Everything about the Scruffy Puppy is professional and caring - from the meet and greets with the dog walkers/sitters ahead to time, to the excellent communication when services are both requested and completed. Over the last year we have had many walks and two long weekends of overnights, and I have been consistently happy with the level of care, love, and attention that my two dogs have gotten from Christina and her team. My dogs both have health issues, and our walkers/sitters are wonderful about giving the medicines, and dealing with some quirky doggy habits. I recommend the Scruffy Puppy 100% - you will be so happy to have peace of mind knowing that your furry family is well taken care of.
We used SP for the first time for our 14 year old dog while on vacation and it couldn’t have worked out better. Maria came on schedule and even did the overnight stay for 1 night. Her updates and pictures on the portal were perfect to keep us informed. Will def use Christina and team again. Very responsive and easy to work with.
The Scruffy Puppy is a well run, pet loving, professional but personal business. They know how to care for pets in their charge, but more importantly, they clearly love animals. Susan was my dog walker and she always went above and beyond. I never had to ask and honestly, sometimes Inthought she was a mind reader!! She’s a dog expert and a dog whisperer. She also taught me things about my dogs that I was so grateful for. And I thought I had nothing left to learn! You cannot ever go wrong with The Scruffy Puppy!!
We had plans for a weekend away and were going to leave our dog with a family member. When that person became unable to take care of Lucy, we made a last-minute call to Scruffy Puppy. Christina was super responsive, replying to my initial late email at midnight with a positive response and a promise to call the next day. We filled out the user profile form in the meantime, which was very thorough and seemed to consider every possibility. We did connect early the next morning. Christina was sympathetic, professional, capable, and reassuring, and told us she would be able to accommodate this last-minute request with one of their best walkers, Erin. Erin truly was that--coming over to the house after 8 PM to accommodate our late arrival, and assuring us by her manner that she was truly a dog person and a good human. Erin was punctual and communicative and took excellent care of our girl. This was a fantastic experience start to finish. We wholeheartedly recommend Scruffy Puppy.
Christina and her team are truly amazing. They are professional, responsive, trustworthy, and so kind and loving to my pup. I trust them implicitly and cannot say enough good things about them. I consider myself (and my pup) truly lucky to know them and we are so grateful for them. I say with total honesty that I do not know what I would do without them. Lindsay and Dave were amazing. We booked a spring break vacation, but couldn’t get boarding for our 2 Cavalier King Charles puppies. Glad we found out about this service. Our dogs had a wonderful time (an entire week). We loved the photos we received, and Max and Marlee almost didn’t want to come home with us :-). We will definitely bring them back. I feel much more comfortable leaving our pups with them, than a pet boarding place. No comparison.
We love Scruffy Puppy! We are repeat customers. Most recently our little dog Bentley stayed with one of Christina's associates, Dave and his family. Bentley was the only dog in their care which Bentley prefers. Dave sent us pictures or video everyday to keep us at ease. When we picked Bentley up, he was excited to see us, but didn't want to leave! He certainly enjoyed all of the attention he received. We will definitely request Dave the next time we need to leave Bentley for a few days.

Our dogs love going to "camp"! They get so excited to see the team they forget they are leaving us. Our girl Maxie thinks Matt is her boyfriend! 🤣I absolutely love when their photos get posted while we are away and I see their smiling faces (cookie driven I'm sure!) Criminal negligence. Back in July 2024, we boarded our toy poodle for 4 days in all american pet resorts in North Brunswick. After we picked him up, he was unresponsive and had trouble walking. He had lost 30% of his weight during these four days! We took him to the hospital that day. He was diagnosed with neurological damage due to low sodium (all other testing came back negative and the only possible cause was his boarding). Apparently, he was not eating any of his food while drinking a lot of water during his boarding (despite them never telling us that he was not eating!). The doctors told us that he is likely to go into a coma or even die. He was kept in an ICU for a week with continuous monitoring and got fluids via tubes. Thankfully, he was able to pull through. It is not the $11k hospital bill due to his boarding that is infuriating but the fact that 4 days were enough to almost kill our dog. It is true that tiny dogs eat so little that it might be hard to measure the food consumed but this is no excuse for not monitoring whether a dog eats something. Ensuring that the dog is kept alive is a pretty low bare minimum for a boarding facility.
All American would have 10 stars if possible. We have been boarding there for many years and always recommend them to friends and family. They have amazing people who are 100% dedicated to the care and happiness of all dogs. Even in health emergency situations, they've cared for our dogs like their own. They are always bathed and groomed during their stays and come out looking great. All American gives us peace of mind every time our dogs stay. We highly recommend them!
I have been bringing my two dogs to All American for boarding and baths for the last 10 years. Glenn and his entire staff are amazing with them and I recommend them to anyone looking for vacation pet care or daycare. Chloe and Phoebe get so excited the second I pull off rt 1 and they know where we are going and are exhausted when they get home from all the fun playing they do. I love that they have cameras and 24/7 staff which many places do not and it is why I chose them when we got Chloe as a puppy. I am a nervous dog mom and they are kind and understanding when I’m a bit crazy and love my babies like their own when I am away so I can enjoy my trip. It is also a very clean facility and I trust them 100% to keep my girls safe and happy:) Would recommend to anyone!!
So far, so good! My pup has been there 3 or 4 times now and is always dragging me to the front door which is a good sign! I love the fact that there are cameras and I can watch him during playtime. The staff I have met so far are very caring and kind to me and my pup. Will return 😊 …
Our two dogs love going to All American Pet Resort North Brunswick. They are super excited when they see the team. We love seeing photos from their stay posted on social media during their stay. When we have put them in VIP it's also fun to check on our babies via video to see them relaxing or watching the team.
