I really enjoyed this this assignment. Stunning location and home ( very clean and orderly)Stephanie and Ed are kind and easy to experience. Einstein is darling! The area is very welcoming when I go out and about. Love the bike trails and walking through the bosque was beautiful. I would highly recommend if you get the opportunity.
Maggie & Otis were great hosts. I think Arlington is one of the best cities to stay in when visiting the DC area and Maggie's place is in the heart of it. The instructions were clear; Otis was a happy, energetic Shepherd but also well behaved, always attentive and listened to instruction. One nice thing is I had use of both a leash and e-collar which proved useful on walks and at the house. Many dogs go through a 1-2 day adjustment period with their owner leaving and dealing with someone new, but Otis handled it well and acclimated himself perfectly. For our first time together, things went pretty smooth
If you get the chance to pet sit here, consider yourself fortunate. These are some of the nicest people on the planet! I pet sat their chickens for the weekend. Everything went well. They were easy to care for and highly entertaining. I visited Sherry and Raymond the night before the sit and they quickly gave me an instructive tour, being considerate of my time. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome in their home. The bed was so comfortable I slept unbelievable well. They have a beautiful home in a nice quiet location, a quick drive to get downtown. I lived close by when I first moved to Victoria and really enjoyed touring the neighborhood again. I would not hesitate to sit here again! Tina
Jane & John are so lovely and very helpful. Very welcoming and friendly. They are very thoughtful and share all relevant information. Evie is a total sweetheart, a joy to be around and very easy to care for. She is a lovely natured dog. The house is in a great location with all amenities close by. This is a great sit for anyone with a child/ children as Evie is very gentle. We had a wonderful time
Shishka is an incredibly sweet cat and incredibly cute! We connected instantly, thanks to her friendly nature. She's quite independent, so she doesn't need much attention. Vanora is a very kind and pleasant person to converse with. Communication was very good and when we we arrived she showed everything around the house, where we got the chance to meet Lorax. She is an extremely affectionate, sweet dog and loves to be petted. Vanora’s home is very cozy and delightful to be in. The highlight was watching TV with Shishka happily nestled in our laps! Highly recommend!
Great housesit with Lucy and Lorenzo! They are both well-behaved, sweet pups and Lisa and David made me feel so welcome - they invited me to come a day early and fed me a nice dinner. Their house was comfortable and safe and so beautifully decorated for Christmas! Very enjoyable housesit - I strongly recommend!
