Our stay at Lisa and Andrea's was the best that could happen to us. We will always remember our first house sit and we'll never forget Snowflake, Tonka and Coco. It was a pleasure to live with them and take care of them, we miss them already! Both hostess are incredible, Andre who we got to meet in person was such a nice girl, very welcoming and warm. We would repeat without doubts!
Jean and I sat for Claire and Phillipe for 3 Weeks in September 2023. This was our first sit outside of the UK. Communication from the outset and onwards was perfect and having an initial contact chat over WhatsApp video was very helpful. C and P were the best of hosts very warm and easy to get on with, and we had no worries in advance. We were given a warm welcome on our arrival and a super meal and evening. Molly the dog is a real character and we loved looking after her. We started with walks around the nearby country lanes and tracks before venturing further afield to beaches and beautiful towns and villages of the region. She was perfect in the car and also happy to be left for a few hours If necessary. When we were out she was perfectly behaved wherever we went. Molly is a love and we miss her. C and P have a beautiful character home, very comfortable with everything you would need for a long or short stay. .The property is large but there was nothing complicated to manage or do. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet near to a village with Bar and Boulangerie and the beautiful town of Combourg it's all very easy. There was plenty to do in the area and beyond and we were blessed with great weather for most of our stay. The Chickens and Goats were no trouble and we welcomed the lovely fresh eggs. If you have a sense for adventure and a love of countryside this is a perfect sit. It is rural France and you don't see many people, yet close enough to some fantastic locations, we loved it.
We had a wonderful time on this housesit! Anna and her husband were very welcoming and made us feel like one of the family. Their home is a lovely, old house, part of which dates from the 1600s. The area around is filled with history, and lots of country walks. The star of the show, Artie, is a chill, cute Cavalier King Charles. He was perhaps the easiest dog to care for than any other sits we have done. When he spins around in excitement, your heart melts. All and all, we had a great time, and highly recommend this sit! We're very glad we did it!
Boyo was very loving and snuggly! the home is comfortable and clean and it was nice to be unplugged from TV! Charlotte is a beautiful area with lots of things to do and explore.
We had the best time watching after Leon! He is a fun and affectionate cat. Sonia was such a wonderful host. Her instructions were thorough and was always quick to respond to questions. The home was very comfortable and in a great location for some sightseeing around London. Would highly recommend this sit!
