Jody and Deniis are offically adopted. They feel like family as if I had a favorite cousin or sister come and take care of things while I’m gone. I wish I could book them for every single time I travel. Keepers for sure
This was a really comfortable house sit! The cats were well behaved and very friendly. There was a lot to do in the area and the home was clean and organized. The hosts communicated well and were accommodating and easy to get along with. I'd recommend this house sit to anyone! We especially loved the variety of mushrooms we found in the yard.
This sit was great! Jennifer is such an amazing and sweet host and even cooked us a wonderful meal our first night there. She gave us detailed instructions on how to best take care of her pets and made us feel comfortable and right at home. The house is very cozy and we spent a lot of our time on the couch cuddling with Archie and Pippen. It was a lovely place to come back to after our day trips into Wilmington and Southport (which is one of the cutest towns to visit). Everything is within an hour drive and easily accessible and truly gives you a “coastal” feel. Of course, the main highlight were the pets. Archie the cat is absolutely beautiful and loves attention. He enjoys playing and if you give a lap or a space near you; he will occupy it and let out the sweetest purr whilst you pet him. If you’re a cat person, he will win your heart immediately. Now onto Pippen. She is so unique and has quite the personality. She is 13, so most of the day is spent sleeping with moments of excitement over going outside or when it’s time for a meal. Something to note though is that she does need help to go outside and onto furniture throughout the day; so patience and compassion is key. As long as you have that, she is such a little love and we enjoyed having her to keep us company. We would recommend this sit highly and wish Jennifer the absolute best and hope she enjoys her future travels.
I had a lovely stay in Tom and Anne’s home. They are very nice hosts; friendly and welcoming. The location is great. I love this Vancouver neighbourhood. The star of the show, Ned. It was a joy to look after this big boy. He’s an easy going gentle, sweetheart. I’d be happy to look after him again.
Lucy is such an amazing and special dog, we immediately fell in love with her character. Lucy has an amazing character . She is super cute, curious, cheerful and she loves to hide under the couch (sometimes you could just see her feet looking out of the couch ;-) ). We loved to play with her in the garden, to go for longer walks and to enjoy time together on the couch whilest cuddle together. Lucy especially loves to be tickeled on her stomach and behind her ears and to be pet. We had such a great time together and will miss her. She looks also very similar to my brother's dog and has a similar character. The house is in a super nice neighbourhood were you can go for nice walks. The house itselfs is beautiful, very nice equipped and has a big garden with a little pool. We felt immediately like at home. Jenny was super nice from the beginning on, we had a first call with her and her husband which was amazing. She was very communicative and explainned everything well. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family after the housesit. It would be amazing to sit for you again in the future. Thanks for your confidence.
Noelle welcomed me with brownies, which was a great way to start things off! Her home is located in a hamlet just outside of Basel, so I felt like I was retreating away from the buzz of urban life when I returned to the flat. The apartment had a well-stocked kitchen and a fireplace, making it easy to feel settled and comfortable. When I stepped out, the the cats always met me at the door upon my return. Each had its own personality--a small, yet bold sphinx, an introverted ginger and a sassy black cat. Noelle described them to a T in her listing. The trio were good company, entertaining and easy to care for. Noelle was a thoughtful host and our communication was friendly and engaging. I would definitely reach out to her on a return trip to Basel.
We loved staying at Yolandie and Stacey’s place! It was in a great location in bustling Putney. Perfect for easy trips into central London. The dogs and Roxy were so much fun. They are super easy to care for and love a good cuddle! We would definitely stay again.
