Great housesit, excellent instructions by the owners. I only did take care of the cats, the dogs were not there. Slim and Dre are very friendly cats, they did greet me at the door upon my arrival and later on were quite keen to share the bedroom with me. Russia is more shy, but even she started purring after the first day. The neighbourhood is very safe, it is easy to reach Austin from there. I would really recommend this housesit to fellow sitters.
We had a great time at Stuart and Lisa's place with Rocky! The house is amazing in a quiet, walkable area of Austin and the neighborhood is one of our favorites in town - lots of fantastic places to eat + explore and < 5 min Uber to downtown. The house itself is very comfortable and well-furnished with everything you need. Stuart was very communicative and provided a detailed guide with everything we needed to know. Now Rocky is the star of the show here. He is sweet, cuddly, joyful, about as low-maintenance as a dog can be, and just wants to generally hang out wherever you are. He is playful when you want to play and chill when you want to chill. We took him on a couple of outings (coffee, etc) as there are dog-friendly coffee shops/food trailers/cafes in the area and he’s the dog that everyone wants to come and say hi to. At one of our stops, there were a couple of little girls that came to say hi. They asked how old Rocky was and when I didn’t know, they wanted to guess. They said he was 5 - or 35 in people years. When I asked why they guessed that, they said “well… he’s not grumpy so he’s not very old and he’s not wild so he’s not very young”. I thought that felt just about right (even though I am old enough to be in their “should be grumpy” category). Rocky definitely made our visit memorable! We’d be happy to come back any time.
We had the best time ever at Lauren and Peter's place in Copenhagen! The cats, Monkey and Banana, were such sweeties and we absolutely LOVED spending time with them. Banana was adorable, loved pats and snuggling up in bed at night. Whereas Monkey was shy, but eventually warmed up to a gentle head pat. Both of them enjoyed napping during the day and venturing outside for some sunshine. The care for the cats was standard, and we had no issues whatsoever. Lauren and Peter's house is clean, nice and the location is just a short train ride into the city centre. There's also plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, etc in the local area. Communication with Lauren was so great, and she made us feel very welcome. She provided a huge list of things to do, places to see and delicious vegan spots to try, which we appreciated immensely! There was also a great welcome guide, that detailed everything we needed to know. If we did have any questions, Lauren was super quick to respond. We felt so comfortable in their home, and miss the cats already. We hope to see Lauren, Peter, Banana and Monkey around soon! 😺
It’s was an absolute pleasure to sit for Tigris. Hester and Simon made us feel incredibly welcome and their house is simply beautiful, with a lovely welcoming feeling. Clearly a much cherished home. Tigris is a stunning cat with a wonderful, playful personality. He’s extremely friendly but also independent and very good at chatting to you to let you know what he wants. We fell very much in love with him. Hester and Simon’s home is in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbours and good local independent shops moments away in an up market part of London. Both public transport and parking is easy. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay and would pet sit for them again in a heartbeat.
Torin and Veronica have a lovely home in a sweet neighborhood next to a stream and a bike path. The kitties are truly adorable - well loved with sweet dispositions - playful, a bit mischievous..my favorite kind of cat. Caring for them and the house was easy and the owner’s clear instructions and ready communication made for a very relaxing sit. On the day we left, I (incredibly) managed to lock a cat in a room I didn’t have a key for. We resolved it quickly but not before worrying them. They were calm and funny as we dealt with that..I truly appreciated their understanding. Kinder and more generous folks you won’t find. Oh, and the fresh veggies and herbs from the garden were delightful, and the hiking and biking in the area incredible. Highly recommended.
Great sit! I already miss the fur family. They were all so cute and cuddly. The apartment was nice, clean and decorated so perfectly. The location was close to everything you would need. Communication was great. If I had any questions, they were able to answer right away. I hope to sit here again.

We have a12 year old English Bulldog, with a lot of health issues, my wife and I went on a five day trip and we were able to enjoy ourselves thanks to Sherry and Mike taking great care of our Dog Winnie! Sherry and Mike Depsky are simply great at what they do. I can't thank them enough for the great care they took of my special needs dog. I never worried when I knew they were coming to walk and feed her, and give her the medications she needed. They always made time for a visit, even when it was "last minute". Sherry and Mike (and helpers) have all been wonderful. We are so appreciative of the care Cooper has received from their services. We have utilized both day visits and overnights ranging from 1-7 days. Cooper is a very strong lab (happy and a bit exuberant!) and it's not easy to find someone who can easily handle him but Sherry was up for the challenge. They are communicative whether or not there is a problem - making sure that if we are flying home that our flight is on time so that Cooper would not be without a visit if one needed to be done due to travel issues. We highly recommend All Heart!

I don't usually take the time to write reviews (I know that's terrible) but with Love My Doggy Day Care I have to... I rescued my dog Sunny (10 Ib pom mix) over a year ago. Before he came to me, he spent the first 6 years of his life either in a basement alone or being physically abused. When I rescued him it was the height of covid. I was working from home every day and knew I could provide him a safe, comfortable home w/ all the cuddles and attention. However, in February I was asked to start coming back into the office. To say I was so scared about what to do with my Sunshine is a complete understatement. I rescued this sweet boy and he was staying with me no matter what, but I needed to figure out the best accommodations for him while I was at work. A friend of mine (the President of Home At Last Dog Rescue) recommended Love My Doggy. The first few times I dropped him off were hard on each of us, however, when I picked him up he was happy & tired. Since those first February days, I have never once worried about him once I dropped him off. Sure I miss him terribly during the day, but every single time I pick him up, the staff are the most loving, gentle, and understanding towards both him and I. He is being loved in all the ways he should have been during those first 6 years by the Love My Doggy Staff (and myself) and for that I am so thankful. He deserves it. Sunny has come such a long way. He is a calmer, happier dog. The love he receives at LMDDC has transformed him. To say I am a big fan is an understatement. My Mom brought her crazy and VERY overgrown Chihuahua there this week and he came out looking like a new puppy! She was VERY happy with the service provided, and care given to her little old man of a dog.
Delightful staff and yes, the dogs come out smelling like dogs. That’s because they are playing the whole time and having a blast. If you don’t like that, can get an exit bath.
The staff are fantastic. They love the animals. They seem to really know each, individual dog & truly care. Biggest issue is the place really smells badly. As a place with dozens of dogs running around, smell is expected. However, here, it's overwhelming. My dog leaves with odor strong enough the car windows need to be open on the ride home & a full bath is needed when we get home. I didn't have the time for nightly baths, so I finally found an alternate place, particularly for the summer months. I wish I could do all my daycare there, since it is a good place with a wonderful staff & owner.
The staff is very nice and they take the necessary precautions up front to make sure your dog is safe and adjusts well to doggy day care. Before COVID when we dropped off in the lobby my female who had bad anxiety got use to being there overtime and after taking her there for several weeks she was actually so excited to see the people at the front. This made me feel so much better about dropping her off. After one month she finally did so well she was able to play with the other dogs, this was huge because she was very stressed and had bad separation anxiety after losing her brother and litter mate to cancer. Several months later we got a new puppy and we now take him there. The feedback I get from the staff is great so far and he comes home all tuckered out which is a beautiful thing! My only peace of feedback would be sometimes they come a little smelly or if they are outside sometimes little muddy. I’m sure this is hard to prevent so I am understanding of it. A extra bath is worth a tired and less crazy puppy! 😁

I recently boarded all three of my dogs for a long weekend and it was a great experience. Stacey and the staff and extremely knowledgeable. Stacey has many years of experience and it shows. Her expertise in dog behavior was evident. I was very comfortable leaving all of my dogs in her care. Two of my dogs take medications and the staff was able to administer all of the medications without any problems. One of my dogs is also dog aggressive and can be difficult to give medication to but the staff handled him without a problem. I would absolutely use Love My Doggy Day Care in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for a boarding or doggy day care facility.
We use LMDDC for dog walking and grooming, and we are always satisfied with their care and love for our sweet girl! We have a very anxious dog who is slow to warm up, but Bryl was amazing and came out several times just to meet her and get her used to being walked by him. We also get updates of confirmations that she got her walk (sometimes pictures too). She also always looks great after her groom! They listen to our requests and she always turns out looking beautiful.
I have been sending my little dog to Love My Doggy Daycare for over 4 years and just LOVE it! the staff is beyond caring about my dog. And, I really like that they separate big and little dogs. My guy is tired out after all the fun he has whenever he goes to play. Plus, the groomers are top notch! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
