They didn’t spend as much time with the dogs as discussed and instead left them on their own while they stayed in the bedroom with the door closed a lot. They didn’t clean the house well (it clearly hadn’t been dusted in two months when I came home and they complained about their “allergies.” They did not follow my instructions on keeping certain doors closed which led to a couple of important things being destroyed. They also broke a couple of dishes and didn’t even offer to replace. They reported me and lied to TH about things we had discussed before accepting the sit (like dates I would be home). They asked me to change sit dates for them so they could apply for a gig while I was in town for a week), then didn’t receipt the later dates they had agreed to and left me without a sitter last minute but with no recourse through TH. The good news, my animals seem healthy, although they were much more needy when I got home than normal. The most unprofessional sitters I have ever used. Honestly, I was gonna keep my mouth shut, but now that they’re outright lying, I’m gonna tell the truth.
We loved taking care of Frida, Dot and Polo! They were very friendly, very good and easy dogs. Little Frida was always was looking for a tummy rub but Dot and Polo made it clear they were not to be left out of the cuddles. It was especially adorable when Polo, a gentle giant, would jump on your lap for a nap! Rebecca and Frank were the perfect hosts. They took us for a tour of Ajijic showing us where we could buy groceries, favorite dinner spots, site see, do a little shopping followed by a delicious dinner. Their home was in a great location for walking the dogs and getting around town. We can't say enough about how this was a wonderful experience!
We truly enjoyed our stay on the mini farm. It was so beautiful and relaxing. We had our fill of organic produce (yum)! The property is a great place to go for walks with the dogs and pick some wild blackberries. All the pets are easy going and friendly. Plus the location is ideal. Not far from town yet you feel like you are out in farmland. Truly the best of both worlds!
I had a wonderful stay with Bertie. He has an excellent temperament, is a pleasure to walk, and is a snuggle bug! The apartment was spotless when I arrived and Jess was communicative and made it easy to come and stay. I would definitely sit for them again.
Debbie was a wonderful host! Clear and timely communication, clean, beautiful home, and lovely pets. Our second house sit on THS, I really appreciated the sticky notes around the home to help us find things easier. Thanks to her tips, we were able to support Obe well in tasks.
Sam was such a friendly, welcoming host! We felt so comfortable staying in her house and enjoyed our stay in Fleet. Ginny and Nala were very sweet, so well behaved and a real pleasure to look after, absolutely no trouble at all. Thanks Sam
Housesitting for the Boulder Creek gang was wonderful. Lucy the pup was a joy to be around, and the kittens kept us laughing. This is an easy sit in a beautiful location - a very comfortable home amidst the redwoods. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for selecting us.
