We had the pleasure of house-sitting the 3 most beautiful dogs, Alfie, Leffe, and Brigge. They are all great friends and love playing with one another. We have just taken a look at some of the photographs we took of them all during our house-sit that has bought back such wonderful memories and bought a big smile to our faces! The 3 of them, despite being so different in size and personality, are all best of friends. We had some fantastic walks with them all along the fields around the area, and lots of cuddles in the evening! The house was just beautiful – quiet, clean, with a lovely garden, and very comfortable! We would be absolutely delighted to house-sit for this wonderful family again, and very highly recommend this sit to anyone thinking of applying in future :)
Linda was very easy going, cooperative with communication and scheduling, and considerate with ensuring I had everything I needed to be comfortable and content with my stay. Boots is a big chonky boy who lives half inside and half outside. He is pretty consistently always hungry and with a fickle level of affection. He likes to be pet but will nip and lightly scratch if the petting is not to his unspecified liking. I enjoyed my stay and left as a friend of boots and liked the Punjabi market neighbourhood that I stayed in
Jo and Geoff were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great. They very kindly cleared a desk so that I could comfortably work. Their home is located less than a 10 minute walk into Bicester and there fab 5k routes mapped on the ground. Fred and Ginger are absolutely adorable! Ginger would often lay in the sun and Fred would never be too far away for a little cuddle. I’d happily come back! ❤️

Jenn is the absolute best! We found Sparky’s Pet Palace after moving out of the city and could not be happier with their service. I needed last minute long-term boarding for my dog and found Jenn on Facebook. She was able to accommodate me very quickly and I was able to drop my dog off within the hour. The moment I did so, I could notice an immediate (positive) shift in my baby’s behavior. Jenn keeps me updated everyday about his progress, and sends lots of pictures. Jenn and her team at Sparky's Pet Palace are the best! They provide such a warm and cozy environment filled with love for pets that our dog truly feels it as his second home. They shower him with love and attention, regularly sending us pictures and videos. The Palace environment is incredible - inside and outside, with plenty of activities for the furry ones to explore and have fun. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Jenn last year, especially since we had a long trip planned where he couldn't join us for the first time. We did a first visit for him to get to know her and the Palace, and it didn't take too long for him to be comfortable there. He enjoys playing and socializing with friends (especially Sparky!), and always returns home the happiest and completely exhausted. They took such a good care of him especially when he needed most, managing medication and special food. The first time they came to pick him up, he jumped right into their car (and he hates car rides!), excited to head back to Sparky's. Jenn is always responsive, flexible, and goes out of her way to accommodate our needs, ensuring our dog has the best experience possible out of his staycation. I highly recommend them!
Jenn is absolutely wonderful!! Our 1 year old Great Dane, Murphy, is still working on manners and gaining confidence in new situations and we got so lucky that Jenn took a chance on her. We did a few daycare sessions to get her used to coming over to Jenn’s and then a few trial overnight sessions before finally going out of town for a trip and it has been amazing to see Murphy’s progress with Jenn’s help. She went from barking and looking for us the first day to being completely comfortable with sleeping over for multiple nights just after a few visits. Jenn also sends plenty of updates and photos so we always know what Murph has been up to. We are so happy to have Jenn and her family to look after Murphy and would highly recommend them to anyone ❤️❤️

Sparky's Pet Palace was a fantastic find for us and the new four legged member of our family. We feel safe and comfortable leaving our pooch with Jenn, and our dog is always excited to leap out of the car and go inside! The team there is flexible with pick up and drop off times which we greatly appreciate, accommodating of changes in plans and very responsive. We love the way they help our dog get introduced and make new friends and clearly have a great time! I highly recommend Sparky's Pet Palace as a daycare for your four legged family members, and wouldn't want to go anywhere else - I can't imagine a better experience for us and our dog!
I cannot recommend Jenn enough – my dog, Finn, is a high energy Golden Retriever who always comes home from Jenn’s happy, exhausted, and exercised. Jenn has been there for us in extremely short notice on more than one occasion (even within a few hours!) and always sends thorough updates and pictures when I am away. I know Finn is in the best of hands with her and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else to give the same quality of care as she does. Thank you so much, Jenn!!!!
Sparkys Pet Palace has been so amazing for me and my pup. I stumbled upon Jenn and her pet sitting services on Facebook right when I had rescued my dog. He was extremely timid and even scared of stairs and Jenn was able to work with him and make him comfortable on the stairs and helped build his confidence. He loves staying with her! He gets so excited every time I drop him off and it is the best feeling as a dog owner to know your dog is in the care of a fellow animal lover. Jenn is the best. She sends update photos frequently and is always so flexible. I work a job where my hours can change last minute and she has always been able to accommodate a late pick up or an early pick up depending on scheduling. I highly highly recommend her to anyone who has a dog!
Jen watched our 2 rescue dogs for a long weekend and they had a great time! She was very responsive and gave updates each day. When we picked up my girls it was clear they had fun and were very comfortable with Jen. Definitely recommend her for pet sitting needs!
I could not think of a happier, more trustworthy spot to leave our fur child than with Jenn at Sparkys Pet Palace! Jenn is always reliable and responsive. I love that she is always in constant communication whenever our dog is staying with her. Sparkys is also more than just a boarding spot -- Jenn's house is full of love for animals, and I know that it feels like a second home to our dog. Jenn also frequently goes above and beyond. She takes our dog on hikes, has administered medicine when our dog was sick, and also dealt with an emergency vet issue one weekend when we were out of the country. Jenn is the best and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a special place to board their dog.
I've been taking Levi to The Downtown Paw since I got him over a year and a half ago. We've done puppy/dog training, grooming, and daycare here. Kate and team always treat Levi with so much care as if he were their own. Whenever I need to leave Levi for the day at daycare, I always know that he will be in great hands. This is my second time posting because I’m so grateful for how they’ve treated our senior pups. Check out the bows they received at their last grooming! Today, the pups got their nails done by Daria, who was incredibly patient. The puppies put on quite the performance with their dramatic screams, but Daria remained kind and patient throughout. Thank you for the care and attention you give to our puppies!
Our dog Charlie loved going to The Downtown Paw! We sadly moved away but Kate and the team were always very attentive, caring and wonderful to work with. Kate watched Charlie while we were on vacation and would work with us to schedule convenient drop off/pick up times. We tired other dog daycares in the area and Downtown Paw was the best! Their prices were very reasonable and it was convenient to have grooming on-site as well to schedule the same day as a regular daycare visit.
If you live in the Malden area AVOID The Pooch Room. Seen in the first two pictures is what they did to my dog. Their customer service is awful and they purposely destroyed his beautiful coat and left him as seen in the picture. My dog was shaking after the experience. Also don't trust the reviews - I left a review on the page sharing my experience and they got it taken down over and over again while 100s of positive reviews appeared the same day...clearly fake! Most importantly - I HIGHLY recommend The Downtown Paw!! The groomer cut Melo this morning (shown in the last two pictures). Great customer service, Melo was comfortable being there, and he looks stinkin’ handsome!! Thank you for giving us the experience we deserved, we will be back!! :)
The groomer Janice is amazing!!! She definitely knows what she's talking about and the pups always come out looking fantastic! When I found out she did cats as well, I brought in my cat the following week and she had him in and out. She does not kennel the cats and gets them done as quickly as possible and won't overstress them. She does what they will allow which is why she does not make them wait. Which is fantastic because the last shop I took my pets to kenneled them and they took hours! Thank you Janice!
Today I had my dog Maxx groomed whom really needed it. I took him to the downtown paw and they did an amazing job! I have found our new neighborhood groomers.. I give them 10 stars and recommend you try them! Thank you again for making my dog look like a dog again and not Wolfman😁❤ …
My dog Schnoogs has been going to downtown paw for almost 3 years she runs for their door when we get out of the car!! Kate and her team are all so nice and you can tell they love their job and more importantly the dogs. Schnoogs leaves happy and healthy. I would also like to add that I bring my cat, Nala for a lion trim cut every 4 months or so and the groomer does an excellent job. I recommend Downtown Paw highly!!!!

Brought my Year and half old kitten in for a nail trim and bath. Everyone was super nice. My cat doesn’t like to get his nails trimmed but they did an amazing job. Prices are very fair. I will definitely return.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Kate and her team are fantastic. You can tell they really love the dogs and get to know all of their quirks and personalities. I've brought my dog to other daycares before where my dog was clearly hesitant to go in and it just didn't feel right. But at the Downtown Paw, my dog literally pulls me in the door and doesn't even say goodbye because she is so excited to be there. I know she's in good hands and that makes me feel so great about this daycare.
Christine has been in the pet services business for many years. She is a great care-giver to her pets and pets needs. We've been bringing our dog there for many years and her and her staff are above the normal pet care services. Their type of service is that they watch over the dogs to be sure that they are all safe and cared for during their time there. What service would pick up your dog in the morning and drop off early afternoon and the pets can stay in or go outside during that time; it's better than your dog sitting home for hours and finding not so great surprises when you arrive home. I highly recommend her services for exceptional pet care.
I have sent my dog to Happy Tails for ten years and I cannot speak highly enough of Christine and her team. I had a dog with special needs. She was dog aggressive which made boarding and play group very difficult. When other businesses were not able to take my dog, Christine bent over backward to help us make boarding work. We will send all of our dogs to Happy Tails. Christine is a lover of all animals and it is such a relief to send your dog to a home away from home, where they are treated with love and care. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to care for our babies when we can’t bring them along. Thank you Christine and team.
I have been using Happy Tails for 16 years. Happy Tails has been with me from when I adopted my rescue yellow lab (who passed away) to my two new dogs. I was a single busy professional when I met Christine and now I am a wife/mom with two kids and still a busy professional. Christine and her team have been the reason why I am able to have such wonderful dogs as part of my family. I spoke with her before adopting my first dog and knew that I had the care I needed for when life got hectic. Happy Tails has always been there to take exceptional care of my dogs. I trust them fully and my dogs have always flourished in their care. One of my rescue dogs, Chase, came to me very nervous. Christine came to my house, built a relationship with Chase and made sure he got special treatment (he even got to sit in the front seat) when going to daycare. I often have to call them last minute because of changes to my schedule and they always accommodate. They also have in-home boarding with pick up and drop off from your home, which makes travel so much easier. I know my dogs are safe and happy with Happy Tails. I highly recommend Christine and her team of highly trained staff!
My Dog Serge is 16 years old. I had him for 2- 3 years before I found somewhere that would care for him as we do. Everywhere I went was awful. The smells, atmosphere and staff made me and Serge want to run. Then I found Christine and Happy Tails 👍😎💖. That was 12 years ago. I can’t describe the comfort, joy and satisfaction myself, Serge and others have experienced with the dedication and loving care our pets get there. I have referred Family friends and coworkers overwhelmingly and they have had the same experience. Earlier this year I came home to a house that had no heat or hot water, called Happy Tails and Christine came to the rescue. I was able to focus on a major heating problem in the comfort of knowing that Serge was warm and well cared for 😇. If not for Christine and her dedicated staff I could never leave Serge. Happy Tails, Christine and her staff are amazing. .
I couldn't imagine owning a dog without Happytails. For several years, they have provided playgroup, boarding, transportation, and advice for me, my old beagles, and now my puppy Irish Setter. They are quick to respond, flexible with scheduling, affordably priced, and most importantly everything they do makes me feel like my dogs are safe in their hands. My dogs are always happy when they get picked up and happy when they get dropped off, so I know the dogs enjoy Happytails too.
We've been sending our dog here for nearly 4 years now twice a week for play dates and on occasion for overnights. Christine and her crew are amazing with out little girl, she has separation anxiety and since becoming a regular with Happy Tails she has stopped being destructive and plays well with other dogs now. Highly recommend for any dog.

Had our dog bordered here while away on a 6 day vacation. Returned home and our dog was dropped off. She had a very large wound that needed immediate medical attention. No note/message/communication from the business about our pet's health, behavior, or well being. Business claimed ignorance. Vet said wound was at least 2 days old. Business did pay for the vet bill. We are no longer doing business with Happy Tails.
We have trusted the owner with four of our dogs over 10 years. She is knowledgeable, trustworthy, transparent, and cares more than any other business about your babies. Always accommodating and responsive.

Our dog always comes home tired and happy at the end of a RiverDog day! The staff are friendly to the owners and great with the dogs. My dog greets them with a lot of excitement! The seasonal/holiday picture days are an added bonus!

I began looking in the area and reaching out to various dog daycares to inquire about sending our pup, and this was the ONLY place who does not allow you (humans) to see where the dogs are kept. I find that very bizarre. Every other daycare I reached out to (even other River Dogs locations) invited me for a tour of their entire facility in the evening once all of their dogs went home for the day. I don't think it is an unreasonable request to want to see where my dog will spend her day. Their "compromise" was inviting me to come in at 6 in the morning, at which time I could view a VIDEO of their space, but still, could not physically see the space. I have never used this location so take this review for what it is - a review of very bizarre policies that are not the norm for any other doggie day care in this area.
I searched far and wide for a daycare that had reasonable hours and that was trustworthy. I finally found RiverDogs and could not be happier!! My pup is so excited to get inside and never wants to leave. He’s tired for days. They’re super receptive and attentive to any special attention your pup needs and I feel so relaxed going into a long day of work knowing he’s in good hands.

Highly recommended! My dog went here 4-5 days a week over several months while I was at work. He was always excited to go visit and the occasional update we received with a picture of him running around or napping on the couch , reassured me he was in good hands. We've tried other day cares and our dog would get sick constantly, we never had any issues here and after switching to RiverDogs for Days he was a much happier and healthier pup.
Highly recommend. Our dog has been going to RiverDogs since they opened and she is always treated like a queen. She never wants to leave to go home! We love seeing the pictures they post of her playing with other dogs and staff members. After a day at RiverDogs, she always comes back so tired that she sleeps through most of the next day as well, which is perfect because she is usually very very energized. Could not recommend this place highly enough for the level of care and love they give to the dogs!
Stefanie the manager is absolutely incredible (as is all the staff) however Stefanie goes above and beyond. She is so kind and intelligent we love talking to her whenever we get the chance. Communicating with her about our dog is a breeze because she remembers so many details about our dog that shows how much she cares. It’s so lovely to truly feel like our dog is completely safe at daycare because of people like Stefanie and her team.
Our dog Athena, who’s affectionately known as “Cow girl” at daycare LOVES river dog. She pulls to get inside, stands up to say hi at the counter and is so excited to see her friends and staff. She comes home exhausted after a day of playing with fellow dog friends. Highly recommend to anyone. It’s great to have your dog enjoy supervised play and keep them entertained, especially during COVID times!
Highly recommend. Have been sending our dog here regularly for daycare and occasional boarding during the past year. Our pup always comes back tired and happy. The facility is clean and there are cameras so you can see your dog 24/7. They also offer pickup/drop off service at a very reasonable rate.
This place is the best! We found them last year and love using them to watch the dogs. My dogs both love the owner Billy and his staff. I have 2 german shepards and I feel very confident with him and his staffs ability to care for them for a night or when we go on a vacation. This space is SPOTLESS, very clean looking, smelly, they take pride in how the space looks. I will always recommend Big Daddy Doggie Daycare and Billy when someone is looking for daycare/boarding!
I've used for BDDD for daycare and boarding about 5 times this year. Bill and staff are friendly and accommodating to shifting pick up and drop off times. I like that they also have a camera set up so I can check on my dog 24/7 while he's being boarded. I've used this feature and it gives me peace of mind when my dog's away. I plan to continue to use their services throughout 2024.
This is a great day care for your fur baby. Staff is great. The facility is very clean. They have camera’s so you can see your fur baby. I would highly recommend this day care for your fur babies. it’s nice to have a place that’s so accommodating.

My dogs (and I) love this doggy day care. We drop them off two days a week and they love it. From the minute we turn into the parking lot they cannot contain themselves and literally rush inside. They play all day w a mix of indoor and outdoor and there are also soft spots for resting and napping. When they come home they are exhausted and happy x

Wandy and the full crew was awesome! I left my puppy Maltese for 11 days and each day they sent videos and pictures as this would be our first time leaving our pup alone. The gave him a groom the day when we picked him up and he was si happy. This place is awesome and the crew really loves the pets that is there. I would highly recomend this place and will be returning there as well.
I left my Baby Pug with Gabriel and his team for 6 nights. It was the best experience for her and for me. I could enjoy my vacation with the peace of mind that my girl was in good hands. I received updates about her activities and how she was during the days. I definitely have playful paws as my trust place to leave my baby when I need to be away. I highly recommend their day care as well. The dogs are well taken care and separated by size, to ensure they are going to be safe. I love this daycare so much! Everybody on staff is so friendly, and they take such great care of my dog every single time. When I drop her off, I always know she will be safe for the day because she is in caring and trustworthy hands. Aside from their daycare, they also offer grooming which is an exceptional service. Lastly, while my dog Gracie is a home body, she loves coming here each time she goes. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for daycare or grooming. Thank you!!
At first I really liked this place, the staff was friendly and responsive and my dog seemed to have a lot of fun. They're also great with scheduling. I take my dog to daycare weekly so he goes a lot. However in recent weeks before I stopped going, my dog seemed anxious when I went to leave him in the mornings and was always ready to go when I picked him up. He has also started to display reactivity to other dogs (especially larger ones) when he has never had any issues or problems while around me. Previous to this, he was well known for being my neighborhoods friendliest dog. When I asked them if anything happened, they would always just tell me that everything was good. As some previous reviewers mentioned, the staff also runs very hot and cold and can be very rude at times, which I'm hoping is not translating to how they treat the animals. While their pricing is good, I think the lack of accountability or any sort of feedback on what happens during the day with my dog is too big of a risk for my pet.
Most affordable option for day care in the area. The staff are hit or miss. Sometimes quite friendly, other times completely absent and rude. When booking a groom or day care, there's little info given. No info on meals, sleeping arrangements.. you just have to trust them. Can't even see the facilities and there is no camera to watch your dog. My dog has returned with bites on her nose (which is against their control) but even still, the facilities are not the cleanest. After a few visits, we won't be coming back.
very suspicious behavior from the staff; i took my dog for a grooming appointment and he came back quiet, trembling, and with prominent red bruises on his side. when i picked him up, the male staff member immediately rushed to notify me that they didn’t do anything to my dog, without me even opening my mouth. he tried showing me pictures of when the bruise was ‘present at the last appointment’ but there was fur covering the spot, so how is that even discernible? very odd and clearly suspicious behavior. definitely never coming back here again and i know they mistreat people’s beloved dogs, it’s pretty obvious from the other low-rated reviews as well.
We used to love coming to bring our dog here, but unfortunately we have decided to go elsewhere. Every time we pick our dog up from boarding or daycare, he comes back with some kind of infection (sometimes requiring us to take him to the vet). This past week, we took him to Playful Paws for the week while we were away. We picked him up the morning after we got back at 6:30am and the staff informed us that they already fed him breakfast. This confused me because we specifically did not pack him food for that morning since we were picking him up first thing. Since we picked him up, our dog has been vomiting multiple times for three days. We aren’t sure if he was fed different food or if he caught yet another infection. On top of that, the staff is not aware of their pricing. When we dropped him off, we were told one price, and when we picked him up, the price went up. I was extremely disappointed when I told the staff that they originally told us a lower price and they did nothing to fix the issue. With their pricing for daycare and boarding increasing 22% in the last year, we just don’t think it’s worth it for us to keep sending our dog just to always come home sick.

My dog has been going with Sabina on adventure walks for almost 4 years and it’s one of the best decisions I ever made for her. Her time with Zoomies has improved her listening, enhanced the reliability of her skills, and given me peace of mind that her needs are met even when I can’t escape the office. Sabina’s fear free, encouragement based training aligns with my values and it’s wonderful to watch her allow the dogs to make great decisions and learn new things at their pace. From a practical standpoint, Sabina is easy to work with and always willing to try to accommodate schedule changes or surprise life events (mine and my dog’s). Besides her skill as a trainer, her incredible flexibility, and support of her clients, the thing that most recommends Sabina is how much she loves the dogs she cares for - I know that she will always do the best thing to ensure the safety, comfort, and happiness of my dog. My dog is now 13 and she’s slowed down a lot since she started with Zoomies but Sabina has accommodated her every step of the way, ensuring she can still enjoy the woods and keep active as she ages. I know she wouldn’t be as healthy as she is at this age without Sabina’s support. I would recommend Zoomies to any pet-owner.
I wish I could write 10 reviews for Sabina and Zoomies! We had our dog June with her 3 days/ week for her adventure walks! Sabina was on time, dedicated, responsible and The Very Best person to work with June on the leash and off the leash. After a few months June’s recall was immediate, better than I have EVER experienced with any dog before. Zoomies adventure walks and Sabina’s time and dedication, is the reason we have such a well behaved fur baby! We have a German Shepard puppy and walking him the same way Sabina did with June is just another testament to her care and dedication to her craft and business! Please do yourself a favor and get a couple days a week booked for those walks and you will see how incredible it is not just for the dog but for yourself as well!!!! We signed up our puppy, Harley, for adventure walks with Sabina when she was 6 months old. It was a funny coincidence that as we were on the Zoomies wait list we met Sabina teaching obedience at a local training class, giving me peace of mind that she was an expert dog trainer with all the certifications to back her glowing reviews. As first time dog owners, Sabina has been our life safer. Giving us training advice, building up Harley’s off leash hiking skills, and showing us the importance of positive reinforcement and fear free training. Being patient with a high energy dog isn’t the easiest, but seeing the results is phenomenal! Harley has made so much progress over the last 2 years and she’s a confident hiker who can pass strangers without reacting, who can disengage when asked, and who can be re-directed if needed. Sabina showed us how to properly muzzle train Harley, and you can see in her photos and videos several of the other dogs in group hikes are muzzled for various different reasons. Sabina does her best to accommodate every dog in the group, no matter their needs and works through them in a positive way. It is such a relief to know she prioritizes safety for all the dogs and won’t overlook one when they need to work through big feelings. Too many other hiking groups are either too strict (only accept dogs on e-collar) or too lax (don’t pay attention to off leash dogs). We have peace of mind knowing Sabina takes preventative measures and can quickly and professionally handle situations as they arise. Every hike comes with an individual report with lots of photos and a vlog style “story” posted to Zoomies social media, which makes you feel like you were walking with the dogs the whole time! Sabina not only provides Harley a safe hiking experience, but she loves each and every pup like they’re her own. Harley loves playing with the other dogs in her hiking group and loves going to Sabina’s house for boarding. We joke that she gets her own vacation every time we go away. I cannot recommend Zoomies enough and would give more stars if I could!
I am SO grateful to Sabina for her creative, compassionate, and expert work with my two dogs (Jolene and Moose) over the past three years. Their walks in the woods are joyful, enriching, and well-documented so I feel confident my dogs are safe and happy. She has helped Moose (a very excitable hound) walk more calmly and attentively in an exciting environment, without ever quashing his spirit. She also provided some very positive muzzle training which was INVALUABLE when I had to take him to an emergency vet after an injury. Sabina has also provided a wonderful experience for Jolene (my much more anxious dog) during times when Jo was afraid of everything! She might be my own pup's favorite person. Sabina's also exceptionally responsible, timely, communicative, and transparent about her process and every walk. I recommend her in the highest terms.
Sabina is a gift..and we have been absolutely beyond lucky to have her as someone we can trust to watch our dog. The walking has been amazing to have to get our dog additional activity and socialization, and we know our dog enjoys ever minute of it by the way he greets her at the door and almost doesn't want to leave when the walks are over. We also love both the social media posts and the very thorough walk emails we get with amazing photos. You really don't have to look elsewhere for a dog walker, there is no one else I trust more to watch over my dog than Sabina.
Sabina is amazing! She walks, takes my dog, Ali (and previous dog, Charlie) to dog parks, and watches her when I go on vacation. She is extremely trustworthy and I feel so grateful to have her! I can relax when I’m on vacation knowing she’s going above and beyond to make sure Ali is taken care of. She had to take Charlie to the emergency vet at least twice while I was away and didn’t bat an eye that he hated slippery floors so she had to carry him. Sabina sends updates with a detailed message and lots of photos after walks, play groups, and during overnight stays. I highly recommend using all her services! Your dogs will be in the best hands!
Nothing to say but amazing! Puts dogs comfort and safety first! I’ve met a lot of people in the pet care business that simply do not have the same passion as Sabina! She took Elsa for adventure walks when I first had my baby. I wish she could have come with me when I moved. Elsa loved the group of dogs and her human friend
Signing our first dog up with Sabina was probably the single greatest thing we've ever done for her. We signed our second dog up the moment he was old enough. If there were 6 stars available, she'd get them. Sabina comes to your home, collects your dogs (who love her deeply), takes them out on a great off-leash adventure in the woods, and returns them to you ready to nap. But that's really the half of it. Sabina also trains your dog in attention, trail manners, and recall... all the fundamentals you need to take your dog hiking yourself and all done using positive methods. The transformation of our older dog was beyond astounding and now I'm living my dream on the weekends: hiking with my dog with confidence. But there's more... she also uploads Instagram stories of each walk so you can see what the dogs have been up to! She includes specific training tips regarding what she's working on with the dogs and how she's doing it. The only downside is that you might occasionally get a bit jealous of the life your dog is living while you are stuck on Zoom calls.
Number one in showing up on time to pick up my pup. Sent me cute pictures, made sure Roscoe ate on time when he took him for my week vacation. Always made sure he kept me updated- even if he was walking him or bringing him home. Super sweet guy. Really made me feel like I could trust him with the pup!

My grand puppy absolutely loves Liz and Andrew. She runs right to them when she is dropped off. Also, she comes home exhausted from all the playing. She’s been boarded with them and comes home the happy puppy that she is!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Linda is reliable, communicative, and truly goes over-the-top for her clients. We had so much peace of mind when were away for holidays abroad, with plenty of pictures and text o assure us everything was going okay. Also, one time, we were locked out of our apartment building on a cold night and Linda kindly our key fob in her mailbox to bail us out haha. We moved away from the area and already miss Linda!
AMAZING Cali has been at the common dog since she was a tiny pup. This staff walked me through the hardest times, and many tears that comes with being a new pup mom You can leave your pup there, and know that they are very well taken care of. They have very addicting cameras for you to watch your doggies play and rest. The staff is quick to answer any questions you might have. The area is very clean and well taken care of it always smells clean. Most importantly The staff genuinely love our babies Groom and painted by Sabrina
I would recommend all the services offered at Common Dog. The staff are amazing and every single employee has your dogs comfort and safety as their first priority. They genuinely care about your dog. I have recently enrolled my two year old golden retriever in their new structured day care program. The program is a perfect balance of playtime, training, one on one interaction and rest. I have noticed a positive change in my pup’s behavior since attending. She is calmer and the training has made such a difference. If you’re looking for a safe, structured and fun environment for your pup, this place is the best choice. Highly recommend.
We love the common dog! Our dog Cashew always comes home exhausted and is always so excited to go. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can check up on him and look at the cameras. We especially love Sabrina, the groomer. She does an incredible job every time and always gives him a cute little accessory! The price is also super reasonable considering what everywhere else is charging.
I've been sending my dog Benny to daycare at The common Dog for about 2 months now & it has been a great experience. He's been going once a week on Mondays & he gets so excited on Monday mornings cause he knows he's going to Daycare. The staff are always very friendly & helpful if i have any questions. When he is there i view the cameras a couple times & love watching him run around playing with the other dogs.
Three years ago, we adopted a Senior Dog from a southern rescue. She was held at a local shelter for months and her time there was running out. She came to us in very poor health (mentally and physically) and we never thought that we would still have her with us today, let alone that she would be thriving as she has been! Her time spent at the Common Dog with Staff members who go above and beyond has literally been the best medicine for her. They have taught her to "play" and find joy while building up her confidence and self-esteem. Thank you all!
I’ll preface by saying that I don’t often do reviews like this, we loved taking our puppy to daycare, and this review is focused on their training program. When we first got our puppy, we were excited about a daycare that was so high rated and close by our work. We adopted him in March and began taking him every weekday throughout mid June. Around April, we decided it was a good idea to try training through the place he’s already spending so much time in- we figured that they knew him best and could help add more insight to training tips tailored to him. We did a private session that included an at home follow up. The session at CD was wonderful- we came away with several things to practice. Unfortunately, there was no follow up from the trainer re: the follow up in home session. Every time we asked about it, we were told we’d get an email or call but that never happened. In mid July, we were picking up our pup from daycare and were told that the trainers wanted to talk to us due to some behaviors in our puppy’s play. We didn’t get much information at the time and were told that a trainer would reach out. We were concerned about the severity of his behavior and decided not to take our puppy back until we heard from a trainer. It took about a week for us to get a call and were recommended to do day training to “tackle most of what [they] were seeing” (this also had an additional cost of daycare since it isn’t included). We paid almost $475 total- the goal was for our puppy to learn boundaries in social play, etc. This also included a follow up session to discuss what was taught/ strategies to reinforce at home. We unfortunately don’t know what really came out of the training. Every time we dropped him off and asked about how it was going or how he was doing, we were told that “he doesn’t know when to quit,” etc. We figured we’d get more information during the follow up. After training ended, we never received a call for more information and when we asked we were told someone would reach out. We boarded our puppy for a week in August. During pickup, we ran into one of the trainers and asked if we could chat. She apologized for not reaching out sooner and said she would give us a call instead at 3 pm (also asked front desk to verify they had the right number). We never received a call. We figured they were busy and just waited for a week- but we didn’t receive a call then either. I think what made us feel worse was seeing all of the training videos and updates from other dogs in their social media during that time frame. We didn’t know what to do and sent an email (included in pictures) cc’ing both trainers and the info@commondog email. It has almost been a month and we have not received a response. We loved and miss common dog, but the lack of communication and follow up has left us disheartened and uncomfortable to drop our pup off for services.
We love Common Dog! I started sending Sunny when they had a bus that would pick her up in Boston, and she was always so excited to go. We just moved to Salem, but I still bring her to Common Dog (on my way into Cambridge) because they are unlike any other facility, in wrap-around dog care! She is safe, has so much fun, and learns with them through enrichment. Since starting daycare we have added on training with JB, leash classes, and grooming with Sabrina (who is amazing with my bath/dryer-hating pup). I cannot say enough about this facility, and how supported I feel as a dog mom. Thank you!!!
I love TCD. I take my 1.5 year old pittie/aussie shepherd mix here for daycare once/twice a week, but I also do their training programs, board him here when we're away, and take advantage of their grooming services. Needless to say, I think they are fantastic and can't recommend them enough. TCD facility overall is really clean and organized. I feel at ease leaving him there and know that they're keeping things safe and clean for the doggos. I've interacted most with trainers JB and Sam and they are truly wonderful humans. They're professional, very responsive and incredibly personable. They both work extensively with my dog in various capacities and are amazing. They are so caring and I'm always so warmed by how gentle and patient they are with him. Sam does nail maintenance with him because he's SO uncomfortable and antsy with his manicures and I'm now convinced he won't let anyone touch his feet but her...including me! They're also both really helpful and available with explaining various training tips and tricks and always willing to put in extra time with him. We've done a couple of training classes with JB and she's so informative and willing to take him on a little extra if we're struggling to perfect something. I don't know how I would have survived without them. He's an endless ball of energy with the attention span of a goldfish and they've helped so much. He's always so excited to spend the day, and when I picked him up after boarding for 10 days, he looked BUMMED that I was back! Great doggy daycare/hotel.
Common Dog is just the best! Our dog Jax gets so excited everytime we go. He's always trying to jump to push the door open and wagging his tail, waiting to get inside. The staff are all lovely, truly professional people. I don't know how they remember so many dogs and people but they do. Whenever we ask about how Jax did, they always let us know. Recently, we've been sending him to structured daycare which is like playing and training all in one. We even get a report card at the end of the day and it has helped us know his favorite toys while he is there and the commands he responds to. I always recommend our daycare and boarding place to people near Everett.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and my dogs love going there! I've used them for both daycare and boarding and have always had a good experience. If you're dropping off first thing when they open expect a little wait while they intake many dogs at once.
