Loui is simply adorable. Very intelligent, fit and so much fun to look after. Louise has a lovely home and was a delight to meet. Overall it was a complete pleasure to sit Loui for Louise and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone for future sits here.
Dennis and Amy were great hosts – generous, hospitable and very chilled, which set us up for a relaxing stay. Duke and Roxie are the most loving dogs – we had lots of walks in the nearby Thetford Forest, which has lots of muntjac deer and rabbits, of great interest to Roxie in particular! The house is an easy walk into the town centre, and is a great base to explore the area, which has lots to interest. We had a great time.
Carmen and Larry picked me up from the airport, and were super accommodating. After showing me around their apartment and pet care, we talked about myriad topics, and got to know each other! The apartment is in a great location - 20mins from Hollywood Beach, 25mins from Fort Lauderdale and 50mins from South Beach. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious. The amenities of the condo include pool, hottub and gym! The kitties were delightful and easy to care for. Neuter is a cuddle bug and always wanted to sit on my lap. mogwai is a little more reserved but wanted to cuddle from time to time. Moggy definitely likes to devour his food as if he’s not been fed for days, though, haha! A great sit - 100% recommend.
Elfie and Tom left us their beautiful pooches... All with different characters... Very fun to be with... We will miss them dearly. Maddox is the most gentle and mature one, never say no to a belly rub and a stroke behind his ears... Sweet Oscar is always hanging around us... So loving and so obedient... Wants to be loved and love is what he deserves... Harper the classy pooch... She would just stay on your lap and look at you with her dreamy eyes... Coco the clever one... She is fun and intelligent... Loves human company... Loves a walk... Her puppy Chanel is the cutest pooch we've ever come across... She will melt your heart... Also loves her walks... They are a great pack to be a part of... Lucky us! Elfie and Tom also provided us with the most amazing and comfortable Housesit... Best one to date. They took some time to take us around fantastic places for food and drink... They went above and beyond to introduce us to their friends and the social side of the island... Thank you both for a wonderful stay!!! X
It's been one day and I already miss Onyx!! I would be delighted to sit for Onyx and Ashley again. He is beyond sweet, funny, goofy, and so well behaved. Ashley is so kind and easy to work with. The house is really cozy. And the neighborhood is central, walkable, safe, and has easy access to the freeway.
This was a comfy home away from home sit. Trubel is sweet and playful; super chill, easy to care for and love up on! All instructions were clear and Erin was extremely open and communicative. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance, great places to hike/bike and a simple Lyft/Uber gets you across the river and into Portland for even more adventure and fun. Rent a car and venture further out to beautiful northwest beaches! Great weekend get away!
