It was a joy to house/petsit for Helena, Alfonso and Clara! They have a lovely, comfortable and cosy house in a quiet neighbourhood in Luxemburg city. We were travelling towards them from Greece in our own car. On our way there we had nice contact, we informed each other through whatsapp about our journey and they sent us pictures and information about Luna. Also after arriving in Luxemburg, whilst Helena and Alfonso were away, we kept in contact to keep them informed. We arrived two days before their holiday started and they prepared us a warm welcome. Alfonso cooked us the specialty of the chef (tortilla de patatas Sevilla) and he gave us lots of tips on where to go in .... Edinburgh which is coincidentally our next destination. We had a relaxed two days together, which gave us enough time to get all the necessary information about the house and to learn the routines with Luna. Luna the Labrador was the best part of this house sit! She is in very good condition, friendly to other people and good off-lead. We took her on nice long walks directly from the house, or after a little ride with our car. Luna enjoyed her rides in our car very much. Every time we stopped there was a new forest for us and for her to explore, to sniff, to run with sticks and to have a good time. Luna likes company and is very affectionate. In the evening she likes to snore with her teddy at your feet. Luna is a super sweet dog. We absolutely loved our time at Helena and Alfonso. We can highly recommend them as hosts!
I had a terrific experience at Melissa’s! Maya and Jake were the sweetest pups, two little snuggle bugs. The house is extremely comfortable and beautiful. The location is very nice for walking. There’s a really special sculpture garden nearby which made for some very nice long walks. Melissa is very friendly and communicative. I would happily sit for her again.
Everything was excellent, communication , Dogs and host. Will no hesitate to come again.
Cass and Greg are the nicest of hosts. They made our time in their home really feel like a holiday with lots of kindly touches to make us feel at home. Milo and Likrich are just gorgeous. They are snuggly and cuddly and love being with you. They are so excited to have lots of short beach walks and play times with their toys, especially Milo as he’s just a pup. Likrich is a grand old lady and easy to spoil. They love each others company and are always together. We just loved them. The house is gorgeous and the position is amazing , a real escape. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
Exceptional stay. We did hit some bumps when a wind storm caused a power outage which left us with no heat, electric or hot water for over 24 hours which I guess can happen in this area (something to keep in mind). They have an EV car charger but you may want to find something more heavy duty station near if that is a priority. Thankfully we had a car and Peter and family were as accommodating as possible, ensuring we had candles and flashlights through the night. The stay was very straight forward as it was short and the animals were just amazing and a pleasure to be around. The area is breathtaking and the hosts’ communication was excellent. Peter and Brianna were very kind to allow my partner to stay which allowed us to split up some more of the responsibilities. Overall, beautiful stay just wish it was a little less chaotic but that was out of any of ours hands. Wonderful hosts, pets and home. Thank you Peter! Hope you had a great trip!
We had a lovely time sitting with beautiful Dora! She is a very calm, confident, and absolutely stunning kitty who is extremely undemanding and a joy to look after. She was friendly from the start, and even brave enough to sit on my lap multiple times during our short sit, which was both surprising and flattering! Communication with Victoria was seamless from the first message, and all of her instructions were very clear and straightforward. The house was wonderfully clean and well organized, with everything you could need for a comfortable sit. Location is also fantastic. My mum and I really enjoyed staying here, and would return without hesitation.
