Shannon and Colin were fabulous house sitters and despite being unable to meet them myself (my daughter did the hand over etc) I felt totally confident in them being in control for my time away. The dogs obviously had a great time with them and their accompanying dog and were really very nonplussed by my return (I take that as a good sign even though I'd love to be met by a little more affection from my girls!!). The house was spotless (possibly cleaner and more organised than when I'd left), the bedding and towels were all washed and clean and replaced and such a lot of care had gone into making my return from holiday a nice experience. A welcome home card propped up by a freshly homemade pan of soup with fresh bread and the crockery all ready and welcoming was such a kind thought - and delicious I may add! Thank you. Liaising with Shannon and Colin was easy and I kept them informed of my slightly delayed flight enabling them to make the decision when was appropriate to leave the dogs when I was safely on my way home from the airport, seamless and the only disadvantage with that was that I never got to meet them personally and convey my thanks in person. Shannon and Colin knew the area having previously lived nearby so took the dogs on some lovely walks and visited some old favourites of theirs which was nice for them and the dogs. I do really hope that they enjoyed their stay enough to want to come back should our dates ever fit their availability. Highly recommend these lovely people to anyone that they apply to sit for.
Kaylee and a friend stayed at our place for four days to take care of our two cats and two dogs. Kaylee was easy to communicate with, sent us regular updates, and took our dogs on a couple of hikes. We'd happily have Kaylee housesit for us again.
This was our first use of Zeewoi while away for 10 days. Debbie and Dave are a lovely and caring couple that mean well. Leaving 4 pets with anyone can be a handful. Our 17 year old kitty was not doing well right before we were scheduled to depart, leaving Debbie and Dave with the unexpected task of administering subcutaneous fluids to her twice. Dave didnt shy away and mastered this wonderfully. Our cockatoo loved Dave from the start. Our dogs got daily walks from Debbie, even though this was not an expectation of ours. The house was clean upon our return. The only reason why we don't give a complete 5 star rating is that we wish communication would have been more fluent and effective. Also it was concerning that Debbie chose to tie up our dogs outside a store while running a quick errand with them. We so appreciate these two and we are now more aware of how to prepare our home and a future housesit effectively. We do recommend these two to other pet owners as they did an excellent job overall.
