Alexandra & Evan

This was the first sit for me on TH and for the Alex and Evan as sitters. They were quick to set up a zoom meeting with me so we could interact in person. I had a good vibe from them from the start. By their communication in setting up the sit, I could tell that they were responsible. Alex and Evan were pretty self-sufficient and did not have many questions, after reading the guest guide or during their stay. As typical, my dog was a little slow to warm up to them, but they tried different ways to soothe her concerns and were soon successful in winning her over. My animals were not at all stressed when I returned. I asked Alex and Evan to water my plants during my absence and I returned to the plants being in better condition than how I left them. I did not ask for Alex and Evan to do any cleaning before they left but they emptied the trash, cleaned the sheets and towels, washed the dishes and left a cute note about their stay. That was a nice surprise to come home to. I would welcome Alex and Evan back to my home, to care for my pets or to visit.

Franka

Franka and her sister Nina came and took such excellent care of Lola and Eddie. Franka was so upbeat and happy to be here. She was communicative and capable and great with the kitties. Being senior cats and needing meds, Lola and Eddie need a little more tlc and love. Franka and Nina were just that. We came home to a spotless house and a sweet treat and thoughtful note! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Connie

Connie really gave us peace of mind while we were away with her serene and friendly manner, and more importantly, she took excellent care of our two cats. Every morning, she would send a report of how they were eating and playing, as well as many photos and videos. We thoroughly enjoyed communicating with her and learning some new pet care tips from her. Our boys were clearly happy with her because they were completely relaxed and calm when we got back home. Thank you for everything Connie!

Shawn was great! The first time he got to meet our dog, we were not there to introduce them. Our dog is very reluctant with strangers, it was a short stay, but Shawn won him over in record time. He sent pictures and gave us updates. Overall we were very happy and at ease knowing he was there and look forward to having Shawn stay again!

I arranged a last minute sit with Margot, after my original sitters had to cancel due to car problems.  She managed to juggle her commitments to be able to sit for us. Communication with Margot was great, right from the start, and she was able to step in and save the day.  

Margot is a calm, quiet, confident sitter, who clearly won the heart of our cat Charlie right from the start, I think she fell a little under his charm too. She sent us cute daily updates, and it was clear that Charlie, and our chooks, were very well looked after.
We arrived home to a clean house, and a very contented cat.  I'm a little worried that he may like her more than me :)

I would welcome Margot back anytime, and recommend her highly!
