Millie was a pleasure to care for. Within just a couple of days, she was used to me and was happy to park herself on my lap in front of the TV of an evening! Really great, modern apartment and comfortable bed. The view overlooking Heathrow was a particular bonus for me! Both Steve and Adrian were friendly and very communicative and provided helpful information for handover. I very much hope to be able to house sit for them again.
Inca and Milo were an absolute delight to look after. They are very gentle and well behaved with people and other dogs. Inca likes to know where you are at any time, and will follow you around. She will interact with you and let you stroke her from the moment you meet her. Milo is very shy; he needs to observe and build trust with you. But from day one; he would High Five when asked. Inca and Milo are loved and well cared for by their family; they are well known and loved in their community. They are incredibly sweet and we are missing them already ! Ronan and Nicki have tons of experience with sitters. From the minute we applied; the communication was very smooth. Ronan and Nicki are incredibly organised; we had all the information we needed to ensure the week-end went smoothly for Inca, Milo as well as ourselves. They made sure that everyone would have a comfortable and enjoyable week-end. Before all; Ronan and Nicki are the perfect hosts very friendly and welcoming. We were made to feel at home the minute we arrived. Even though the family was on their way to the airport; Ronan took time to introduced us to Inca and Milo and showed us around the house He reminded of us of everything we needed to know about the dogs and the house. Took us on a short walk with Inca and Milo and introduced us to the neighbour. The house is very tidy and comfortable. It is located in an idyllic Yorkshire village. A friendly community, with beautiful houses dotted around the Green and an excellent country pub. This is a traditional rural part of Yorkshire with loads of pretty villages, green spaces and agricultural land. The area around Kirkby Fleetham is great for cyclists and runners. For hikers; it is only a short drive away from the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. Thank you again Ronan and Nicki for trusting us to look after Inca and Milo and spend a very enjoyable week-end in a beautiful house with two incredible companions.
Dan and Cyndi have a beautiful home in the highlands of pine woods. They were very gracious to show us around the property when we first met, and they left detailed instructions that was easy to follow. Caring for Ziva and Dud Lee was a joy. They each have their own individual sweet personality, and easy to care for, as they are very friendly and easygoing. We fell in love with both dogs.
I absolutely loved my stay with Kiki in Emma’s lovely home in Elsted. SUCH a pretty village and everything you need (including a post office, cool coffee shop and Thai food!) Emma was so welcoming and I felt right at home when I got there. Kiki is just the best little cat, she’s extremely chatty and loves nothing more than to sit in a box filled with plastic bags, she’s so funny! She was great company and I really hope I get to look after her again!
This was an amazing sit for us! While we didn't get to meet Laura and Adam before arriving for the sit, they were incredible communicators and even sent us a video walk through of the house, the dogs' routines, and how to use the appliances, which was above and beyond! Dusty and Baxter are the SWEETEST pups and are so good natured and love people. We were traveling with our 2 year old and I cannot stress enough how patient both dogs were with her. Baxter especially let her snuggle with him constantly, something our own dog isn't even willing to do. =) Location wise, if you are hoping to explore St. Louis, you couldn't pick a better location. It is central to everything and in one of my favorite parts of the city! If you are lucky enough to get to sit for Laura and Adam, don't pass up the opportunity! They were lovely and we so enjoyed our time with Dusty and Baxter!
Calypso and Mowgli were exceptionally wonderful and cuddly pets. I almost cried when I had to leave them! Their home is easy walking distance to downtown Ashland attractions. I would definitely like to housesit here again.
