We were very pleased with our time spent at Lynda and Jacques' charming house by the lake, and with their adorable cat ChiChi. They warmly welcomed us into their abode, and we appreciated their thoroughness in providing us with all the necessary information regarding the house and ChiChi, and ongoing communication, to make it an easy and enjoyable experience. ChiChi is a friendly and undemanding feline, only asking for the occasional cuddle and her precious time outdoors. We already miss her, and are looking forward to the next opportunity at Lynda and Jacques' comfortable house.

It was a lovely experience to stay with Jujube at Melina’s cozy home. Jujube is an easygoing and delightful cat. Melina’s home is clean, very comfortable, and located in a nice part of Berkeley. It was quiet, easy to navigate, and stocked with everything I needed. Melina was great to communicate with, she is a warm and generous host. I would highly recommend this house sit!
I had a wonderful time taking care of Ellie, a lovely bit older dog, who absolutely knew what and how she wanted things (and communicated this well), like her walks and her daily routines. Some motivation (and earning her trust in the beginning) was needed to get her going on a walk. In the park I could let her walk freely, which was more relaxed for both of us than on the leash. Which however was needed in traffic/on the street to guide her and secure her safety. I was warmly welcomed by her petparents, Maurice and Mary and shared a good meal with them on the night before the first sitting day. Very friendly and interesting people, grateful that I have met them and Ellie and as a plus also several friendly neighbours who share a cosy communal garden in which dogs can run freely and play, while the humans can have a conversation (and of course throwing balls). The appartment lies in the New Town in a quiet part of Edinburgh’s centre (just outside the crowds) and is part of a row beautiful old classical Georgian houses. I felt home and safe in both the house and neighbourhood. Maurice and Mary were available should I have questions and they made sure that I could reach out to several caring neighbours/friends if I should need help with something. Edinburgh is a vibrant city with, on walkable distance many restaurants, parks (and the botanical garden), shops, museums to go to and of course the possibility to walk up Arthurs seat and have a view over the city. After having lived in Norway for 13 years, I clearly had to travel to Edinburgh to see the northern light for the first time in my life, on Calton hill (another beautiful spot/park in the city). This sit became a good combination of care, social moments, healthy movement, culture, and spring on its best in Scotland 😊
Sarah was amazing and generous, as were the fabulous Daisy and Charlie. I was comfortable in her home and neighborhood, and the pets were so adorable and fun to snuggle and spend time with. They were absolutely so cute, hilarious and sweet! She was communicative, super responsive, and it was just overall a wonderful sit. 10/10 would highly recommend!
