Nadine contacted for a sit for the gorgeous Maple and Tigger in August and I could not have been happier to say yes. Nadine was easygoing, friendly and flexible but also meticulously detailed in ensuring I had all of the information I needed. Maple and Tigger are both a delight with big, warm personalities. Taking care of them was straightforward as they are exceptionally well behaved - I could not have enjoyed my time with them more. Nadine and the family live in a beautiful, comfortable and peaceful home in Wimbledon, a stone throw away from Wimbledon common where I enjoyed many walks with Maple (who is also a great jogging partner). Their home was immaculate when I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and all questions I had were promptly responded to by Nadine. A lovely sit for a lovely family! Thanks Nadine :)
Caroline and Tim have the most beautiful home, they were super accommodating and friendly. And Sybel, she is an amazing dog, remarkably well behaved, super loveable and calm. It’s been a total pleasure to look after her for the past week. Going to miss her!
I spent 3 days with Nibbles and Esma. They are adorable! Esma is so affectionate and gives a lot of cuddles. Nibbles has a bit a difficult nature and can hiss sometimes, but with days flying, she becomes more and more nice. The city is amazing, it’s not far from the downtown and the bus stop is just 5 min walk from the apartment
For me this was a great sit. Coco and Mara and I bonded from the beginning. I used Wills running belt with separate leads to each dog and we explored the neighborhoods in DC and Maryland. We explored two parks, including one with the dog park and early morning off-leash on the grass where I met many members of the community. Both pets got really good exercise here and played with all of the dogs. The home’s modern, open design with some large plants flows into a really comfortable backyard porch and yard. I enjoyed many mornings and late afternoon naps in the hammock with Coco and Mara nearby napping. The location is super-close to the metro with stops close to the zoo and onward to the museums. Coco, Mara and I usually took our last walk at about 11PM and it was completely safe and tranquil. And Will and Lainie were always available with speedy answers to all of my questions. Obviously I am available anytime to petsit…should I be so lucky
Tyson is a very friendly and vocal cat, Emma is extremely responsible, responsive, and communicative. The apartment itself is somewhat centrally located, and much bigger than what is shown in the photos. I took off 1 star because there was some drama with Emma’s bf, but Emma was immediately responsive to the situation and took up full responsibilities for his action. I trust Emma to be a good host for the next sitter.
A great experience from the time Nancy picked us up at the station to Cris dropping us of at the bus station to go to Switzerland for our next pet sit. What a pleasure it was to wake up every morning in the immaculate, comfortable bed in their beautiful home with 3 amazing , different personality cats Lenny , Jamie & Luna, I loved that the cats followed a feeding routine that they knew what food was there’s as they had different foods, We connected right from day one with them all.To us it was a dream sit with memories that will last forever.We had a wonderful meal together , with great conversations. There are great trails in the area, a short walk to the bus stop got us into Augsburg We hope to cross paths with Nancy & Cris one day xx
