Damian and Sophie made this sit an absolute breeze. We loved getting to know them and getting to know their pups, Blake and Pablo. Damian and Sophie were happy to answer any questions and detailed everything we needed to know. They made getting Blake and Pablo’s schedule down very simple. Their Welcome Guide was very detailed and covered any quick questions, and they were always easily accessible via WhatsApp. We had a fantastic time with Blake and Pablo—two very affectionate and playful dogs we couldn’t get enough of. They’re excellent cuddle buddies and always eager for a tug of war if you want one. The main thing is to make sure they get a walk each day to get some exercise and quality sniff time. We didn’t have any problems during the sit—the biggest thing was making sure they got a good walk each day to exercise and get any energy out. Damian and Sophie’s place has some great walks and dog parks nearby. We honestly had a tough time saying bye to our new friends, and we hope to be around for the next time they need a sit! Highly recommend to anyone considering sitting.
Nala is an absolute sweetheart and incredibly well-trained. I had the pleasure of caring for her for two weeks and it was an absolute treat. I genuinely miss her 🥲 Mark and Rexana are amazing hosts and even made me a delicious meal upon their return even after a looooong day of travel! And of course their home and neighborhood is super lovely!
What a great sit. I did not get a chance to meet Jessica, but Bertie was happily waiting to greet me. The apartment is in a fantastic location, and the terrace is wonderful. Bertie, though, was the best part of the sit. He's got a great personality (with a mind of his own) and once we synced up, it was hard for me not to stash him in my luggage and bring him home. I love this dog! He was very well behaved in the dog park - and he was familiar with a number of other dogs and their owners. And overall, Bertie was just great company and made my time in NYC that much more fun. Thanks Jessica!
The sit at Katie & Jack’s beautiful villa was an absolute joy. The house is in a wonderful setting and very comfortable - the pool is rather fab too. Charlie & Jimba are the sweetest dogs and Iove nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa. They are very easy going but you do need to keep Charlie on the lead when out walking as he is an alpha dog and wants to run his territory. Meong, the 3 legged cat is gorgeous and loves to chat (as far as cats can). The local taxi system Is very efficient and cheap but if you can drive a moped it would be very easy to get around…..there are lots of fabulous places to see and restaurants to try within easy driving distance. You do need to have your own access to Wi-Fi (via a SIM) as the villa is not connected to the internet. This worked fine for me during my stay. Highly recommend this fabulous sit in the beautiful island of Bali. Thanks again Katie & Jack.
I had a great pet sitting experience with Chickpea, a friendly and energetic kitty. Chickpea quickly became comfortable with me and loves to cuddle. Ale and Trevor, Chickpea's owners, were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a video chat before the sitting, where they provided me with instructions and information about Chickpea's medication and their apartment. Throughout the sitting, Ale and Trevor remained available and were happy to answer any questions I had or give recommendations on where to go in Madrid. Would recommend!!
Pamela was very welcoming and communicative throughout my stay. Oso is an absolute joy! He can be playful and affectionate at home, and a live wire when out. He needs someone with a strong grip when on leash but so much fun when off leash. I loved hiking in the hills with Oso. He would always come when called and careful of bikers coming along the trail! Dog parks are also great fun! Their home is right in the bustling area of Chinatown of Oakland. Thanks for sharing your home and trusting me with the care of your beloved Oso!
