Truly could not have asked for a more wonderful first experience using Trusted Housesitters. Katrina and Rob are so lovely and so thoughtful. The communication before, during and after was wonderful for two anxious people like us who were just starting out with this app. The house and land are stunning and so peaceful. You can see why the girls have such big smiles on their faces when they run outside! The bedroom had the softest bed, and smelt absolutely lovely, with an en-suite bathroom. The chickens are so easy to care for and all have very distinct personalities. Now for the girls… before we even left I got upset knowing that I’d be soon leaving them. Madge, Maude and Mabel are the kindest, sweetest, and funniest girls. They are so so so lovable and even better - loving! You will have a great time playing with them and caring for them. They know exactly what they need and they really just need a loving person there to help them with it. My partner and I both agreed before we even got there that we would jump at the chance to be back, and we stand firm with that now that we’ve left! Thank you for being so lovely Katrina and Rob, and making this experience so wonderful for us! Hope to see you again xx
We had a wonderful weekend with Basil and Amaya. What beautiful dogs! They were well behaved and very loving. Communication was fantastic, and instructions were also clear. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit and this lovely family to others! Caroline’s place is in a perfect location, and Rye itself is also well worth a visit! Thank you very much for having us and hopefully we can come back soon.
Bailey, Burberry, and Sweets are adorable, and the house and neighborhood are lovely. Heloise was excellent to communicate with and has clear, easy to understand written instructions for pet care.
Helen and George were fabulous hosts. Left detailed plans on what to do, where things were and when their lovely chickens and gorgeous Charly the cat needed feeding etc. Their house is ideally located close to shops, easy access to the supermarket which is about 5 mins walk plus lots of other superstores a short walk away. The beach is only 20 mins drive if that and there is also a really lovely heath close by for walks. Thank you for a lovely stay and hopefully we can do the same once the pandemic is over!
I had the absolute best time watching Balthazar. He is a lovely, social, smart, and funny cat who is great company. Sophie and Julio are wonderful pet parents who were so welcoming and set me up with everything I needed. Their home is beyond lovely, and the neighborhood is charming with lots of local restaurants, cafes, and bars just feet away. I highly recommend this sit and am so happy I got to spend time getting to know Balthazar and Brussels!
