From start to finish this house sit was a dream. Shannon and Aaron were easy to communicate with both before and during the house sit. They laid out the information very clearly which made looking after the gorgeous Bentley a doddle. The apartment is amazing as are the facilities, we felt so lucky to be staying and with such lovely and welcoming hosts. Bentley is a very loving dog who was so easy to care for and fun to play and walk. The apartment is in an area easy to get to the main sites. Right next to a lovely park (where we enjoyed roller skating into the city from). We really enjoyed our time here!
Rosie is the sweetest pup. I completely fell in love with her. Once she realized I was there to take care of her, if was puppy kisses all day every day. Lori and her family have a beautiful home and are nice and kind.
House sitting for Mark and Anne is a little like winning the lottery. As a housesitter Anne makes it exceptionally easy for you because everything is extraordinarily well organized, documented, and labeled. Everything you need is right there, easy to find. They are good, kind intelligent, highly responsive and responsible people, and cared about me in ways that were completely beyond the call of duty. The house is gorgeous. Everything works, is immaculate and hypoallergenic. There is a lot of natural light and good internal lighting and is aesthetically very pleasing with original artwork in every room. The succulent garden outside is a wonderland. It’s like a living breathing artwork/meditation. There are two fishponds each with its own water feature. Not only is it exquisitely beautiful but it is also incredibly peaceful. It’s easy for the buzz of the mind to just drop away and breathe in the beauty, peace. The jacuzzi was the cleanest I have ever seen- and they don’t use chlorine. I kept thinking I was in a magic place and wouldn’t have been at all surprised to find fairies and angelic beings pop out wherever direction I looked. Part of the bounty that comes with house sitting for Mark and Anne is the neighborhood. It is very settled and I felt very safe. People know each other, are friendly, and happy to talk. No doubt it helped that Anne sent out an email before I arrived so neighbors knew I was coming. Even still I was surprised how welcomed I felt. Saving the best for last is Mickey their dog who is an absolute sweetheart. He is gentle and lovable and easy to look after. He loves affection and enjoys his walks, even though it can take a little encouragement at first to get him moving. But when he gets going he can walk for a long while. He loves adventures. I was overjoyed seeing how much fun he had when I took him to Dog Beach! But beware- a trip to the beach means that it is bathtime! He was so dirty afterwards. But nothing a little bit of shampoo and water couldn’t fix. House Sitting for Mark and Anne and taking care of Mickey is very conducive and nourishing. Ideal for doing retreat.
Had a fabulous first sit using trusted house sitters thanks to Jill and Badger. Jill has a wonderful beach front house with a big garden - where Badger likes to spend most of his time. There are countless walkies options including: beach front, local parks and the sea wall. Badger is a quiet boy but very happy to sit at your feet in the evenings. Had a great time exploring Mersea with Badger. Would happily sit again!
This was a perfect sit for us. Zoey and Beazly have the sweetest temperaments. Zoey wags her tail non stop and just wants LOVE. Beazly is such a good boy and loves on his sister. Walking them together was quite easy. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful. We could have walked and admired the beautiful homes for hours. Grocery and restaurants close by. Everyone was friendly. Gauri and Vikram have created a beautiful home for their family and the guest suite was generous and comfortable. The entire home was clean with lovely finishes. Communication throughout the stay was easy and clear. They provided clear written instructions for the pets care and schedule which left no doubts about what to do and where to find it. If you have the opportunity for this sit, don't hesitate. It will surpass your expectations. Two SWEET dogs in a beautiful home in a fabulous neighborhood for a lovely family. 10 🌟
Our housesit for Megan and Neil was such an enjoyable – and easy – sit. Their home was comfortable, clean, and spacious with all we needed and more; and located in walking distance to grocery stores and the lovely historic McDonald neighborhood. They welcomed us warmly into their home, provided clear instructions on pet and home care, and were easy to communicate with before and during our sit. Their chocolate lab, Charlie, is about the sweetest dog we’ve met. She’s gentle, appreciated walks and play time, and was also content sleeping and chilling while we worked or did our own thing. She was hard to say goodbye to, but it helped to see how excited she was to greet her family upon their return! They also have chickens and have set up the coup with an automatic door, so really no effort required there. This was a great sit, and if the opportunity arises, we would absolutely sit for Megan and Neil again.

A great family business. They take wonderful care of our "troubled teenager" lab/bull mix. They're always happy to see us and our dog always seems eager to go into the kennel which is a good sign that he enjoys himself while he's there. They have a good secure setup to allow the dogs to get some yard/play time and keep away from other dogs. Tons of runs so your chances that they'll have availability, even during holidays, is pretty good. They can be flexible on pick-up and drop-off times as long as you work it out in advance. Highly recommended.

We LOVE the Doggie Depot!! Our 1 year old Samoyed, Ruby, has been going to the Beverly Farms location since March and every visit has been 10/10. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly all dog lovers—they are so good to our girl! The BF facility is in a gorgeous neighborhood and the staff provides lots of water, shade, and safe activities on hot days. We always know that Ruby is safe and in good hands. We also brought Ruby to the new Danvers location for the first time yesterday and it’s AWESOME. The outdoor space is huge (plenty of space for big dogs to fully sprint around) and very secure—I can’t wait to see the inside. Everything is brand new and so clean! Joel and Marie are so accommodating—scheduling, pick up, drop off, and billing could not be easier. Ruby comes home happy & exhausted every day!
Belle, our lab/beagle mix, has been boarding and daycaring with Doggie Depot since it opened 10 years ago. Their staff are spectacular. It is not uncommon for one of vans to stop to say hello to Belle while we are walking. If they don't stop, they say hello through the window! I don't know how they do it, but there is no rough play in the play area. Belle is now 13, she is a little stiff. We've used the new Danvers facility twice since it opened for 4-5 day stays. Belle loves it. Without a doubt it is the cleanest, most pleasant dog boarding option I've ever seen. The refit took a year and has everything a dog owner should want. Again, staff is key, and I have been consistently stunned by Joel's ability to attract and retain people who love and understand dogs. I rest easy when Belle is at Doggie Depot either for the day or boarding.

We could not be more impressed with the amazing staff at The Doggie Depot!! We have been frequent visitors since our son rescued his dog for over a year now. And lastly the staff that spends the day with the pups outside all day are fantastic. We can not say enough positive praise for Hound and Country Pet Care. We have used them for dog and cat care for over 8 years with 4 different dogs and 2 cats. From senior dogs who required special senior dog care to young rescue dogs, 6 months old, requiring special training. Their care and dogs walks enabled business travel and working outside the house. They are smart and well educated about pet care and we have benefited from both their care and advice. This continues to provide us with peace of mind when we are not able to be at home. I highly recommend Barn Dog! We’ve been sending my pup Whiskey since he was about 8 months old. The whole staff is great. We just boarded him there for the first time for 3 nights. I was so nervous to leave him but they reassured me all weekend with pictures and updates. They also offer an exit bath which is the best! He came home clean happy and exhausted!

We’ve been taking our dog to Barn Dog since she was a puppy and love it! The staff is really caring and clearly work hard to keep all the pups happy and safe. Our pup needs a lot of exercise but always come home from Barn Dog tired and happy.
I initially heard about Barn Dog Day Camp from a friend, I rescued a deaf dog about 4yrs ago. We have never boarded her due to her special needs, and I wanted to see if Barn was a good fit. She has a lot of anxiety, and given she was deaf, a lot of special attention. Peter and his staff were extremely kind and patient with my dog, I appreciate the interview process and all the steps they took. To make sure my dog would be a good fit, that she would enjoy camp, have fun and be safe. Barn dog is very knowledgeable in boarding dogs, and extremely professional. Even though it didn’t work out in our situation I would highly recommend to a friend.
The staff on evaluation day were so knowledgeable. It is very comforting to know how much they know about a dog personality. The facility is very clean. There are great activities and fun stuff for the dogs. My two dogs live it there.
My dog used to be skittish and defensive when meeting new dogs, but I could tell he wanted to make friends. Thanks to Barn Dog, and their super professional handling and thoughtful way of introducing new dogs in the mix, my pup now has a social life, lots of new friends, and new confidence out in the world. Joe has been taking care of our lab boy, Beethoven, since he was merely a puppy, less than a year old. We made a switch to Boneanza after not liking our previous daycare, and there has never been one bad day with Joe since the day we brought our boy there. Beethoven has left every day wagging his tail and is always excited to go to “camp” as we like to call it. We love Joe and all of Boneanza. They also walk the dogs multiple times a day without question where other places charge you to do anything beyond the bare minimum with your dog. Joe also makes sure the pups are always in a safe and secure environment. Joe even helped teach us some Training tactics and continues to do so as we raise our boy. I write this because we care so much about who we leave our boy with, who he grows up with, and Joe and Boneanza was for sure the right choice.
Joe is our hero. Seven years now with him and he’s become family to our pup. He treats all dogs as if they’re his own, but he’s also an expert in their safety and is able to calmly bring a group of mixed sized dogs all together to play safely. We’ve used many facilities in the past and there would always be some incidents with other dogs - not with Joe! Oh, and he’s also a decent and funny guy too.
We used this service for a month for our elderly dog and Joe was flexible, reliable, professional and above all kind. He was more than willing to work with us in terms of schedule and Gerry developed a strong bond with him! I'd recommend him any day and will use his services in the future for any boarding we will need in the north shore. Joe is the best!
We luv Boneanza. Joe & his staff are the most amazing and helpful people I've ever met when it comes to doggy daycare. Max gets so excited every time I even mention goin to see "Mr. Joe". I don't know what I'd do without them.
We've been customers of Boneanza for over 13 years and have had three different dogs there. It's a fantastic place for our dogs to hang out while we're at work. Our dogs have always been excited to arrive in the morning and tired but happy when we pick them up. Owner Joe is truly the "alpha dog" and has a special connection with the dogs, keeping everyone happy, engaged and getting along. In addition to multiple walks during the day, Joe and his employees play with the dogs during the day, keeping them busy chasing tennis balls, Kong toys, et cetera. Also, for train commuters Boneanza is just a five minute walk from Beverly Depot.

Dingos is the best doggy daycare, boarding, walking, and training! Scooby started attending last fall, and during that time, we have utilized all the services offered. The owner and staff are very in tune with dogs and their needs, cornerstoned on animal and human safety! The portal to sign up for services is easy to use, and the staff is great if you need any help! They are active on social media, so sometimes you will get a nice look into the day your pup is having. Shout out to Nancy, the owner, for her care and concern and excellent communication. Marylin, one of the bus drivers and Scooby's walker, is terrific with my dog and a pleasure to chat with during drop-offs/pick-ups. Fae was outstanding for a short little overnight boarding we needed last month. Lastly, Chelsey, their resident expert behavioral dog trainer, has been essential for our success by helping Scooby not only learn some much-needed basics but also helping us through some challenging situations. Another plus is that they offer fun "experience" add-ons for the daycare. Such as puzzle time, glam photo sessions, mini walks, and even some one-on-one fetch time!
Dingo's has been a godsend after getting our rescue pup earlier this year. The staff is truly genuine in their love for dogs, and they go above and beyond in trying to accommodate and build an environment that is safe and fun for these pups. Not only does our dog have fun, but she comes home exhausted and that gives us a much needed break from the puppy madness - double win! Owner Nancy was also super helpful in finding a unique solution for me to find a place for my pup to stay when my entire family needed to attend an out of state funeral. We had no other options and she rescued us on short notice. Beverly is lucky to have such a great business & staff available to us dog owners. Thank you Dingos!
Dingos is the best! The staff will love and care for your dog as if it is one of their own. When I first brought my dog to them, she was very nervous and frightful. They were patient and gave her extra love to make sure she felt comfortable. Now my dog cannot wait to run into the yard and play. They are always accommodating, and will even send you photos of your pup having fun throughout the day. I wouldn’t send my girl anywhere else! Penny and Nala absolutely LOVE Dingos. The staff has been nothing but warm and welcoming with our new pup. Everytime we mention “dingos” both their ears go up and they get so excited to go. We drive 30+ mins to bring our pups here but it is worth it. We feel completly comfortable and love seeing the picture updates throughout the day on Instagram. We highly highly recommend Dingos! ❤️

They are so attentive to him and keep a close eye on any medical or behavioral concerns we may have. They are so flexible and helpful to fit him in when we need them too. We can't express how happy we are with Tina's TLC Pet Sitting Service! Tina clearly loves animals and is very reliable. She took excellent care of our two kitties and was very detail oriented. I have used Tina's pet services several times to care for my cats when I was away, She goes above and beyond, She left notes of what the cats did each day, brought toys for them to play with while she was there. She doesn't just feed and empty litter box, she actually spends time with them. She is the best.
