Cat Sitters in Mandale, NC

If you are lucky enough to get Chris and Geoff to request a house sit, say yes quickly! We went overseas for a whole month and left our dog... who is nothing short of my animal bestie. They walked her every day(twice!) and stayed near her for large chunks of the day... and they also did magic on the garden -- keeping our newly planted trees alive and our garden thriving. Within the first few days of their house sit, we had some exchanges on text that showed me how wonderful Chris and Geoff would be-- making themselves at home in our neighborhood and with Lucy. I was able to enjoy my holiday even more because our dog and home were deeply cared for. Lucy's behaviour when we returned was noticeably settled. She had not gained weight or becoming clingy like she has in past when I left her. I think she misses them. :-) Thank you, Chris and Geoff!

Teresa is a good communicator and her care of my home and pets was impeccable. I definitely will ask her to come again because I have such peace of mind when she is here. At this point I think we’re fast friends which is a benefit of zeewoi I hope other owners experience.

Ciara says she specializes in longer Sits, and this one was almost two months. She is a cat guru and took good care of Emmylou — who was glad to see me when I got home, but was not obviously stressed by my absence. Ciara is systematic, self contained, and self sufficient. For instance she solved her own WiFi issues without needlessly involving me. I supplied cleaning services every two weeks. I was happy with the job that Ciara did for me and Emmylou.

Lydia was a very good sitter. She kindly came to our house a few days before our trip to meet Sky, and she clearly loves animals. Sky was immediately comfortable with her. When we changed our plans to leave earlier in the day, Lydia changed her schedule to give Sky an early walk before work, which really helped us out. She sent several pictures of Sky looking very happy on walks. Lydia let us know immediately when Sky got a very minor injury, and sent us a picture. She was very communicative, and we were able to determine it did not merit a vet visit. We recommend Lydia and would hire her again.

Keelee was a great sitter! We really appreciated her willingness to meet us and our pups in advance both in a virtual call and in-person meeting. She immediately showed a solid understanding of dog behaviors and asked questions to ensure she was aligning with our training style. Our pups, who can be nervous with new folks, quickly warmed up to Keelee as she made it a comfortable greeting for them by allowing them to come to her and squatting down to their level. The pups were a Keelee fan before we left our home! She exercised them multiple times per day and was very attentive to their needs throughout her stay. Before leaving, she checked in to make sure her leave time worked for our schedule, left the house as tidy as she found it, and even sent a text to make sure we made it home from our trip. We would definitely have Keelee sit for us again!

Having Deb here was an absolute delight. She showed up with toys and treats for my cat, Boy. He was instantly enamored. She sent me amazing updates and pictures every day, which put me so at ease because I knew Boy was having a great time while I was away. She even got him some more treats to try while she was here. When I got back, my apartment looked exactly how I left it and Deb even washed all the sheets and put them back on the bed for me. Boy was relaxed and happy. I couldn’t recommend a sitter more and I’d be overjoyed to have her back anytime.

Kristina returned to our home for a second sit - this time with both our pets! She took great care of both pets and our home again, and was sensitive to their different needs. We appreciated her regularly checking in and asking specific details about both our dog and cat. We returned home to our happy pets and a clean home! We would happily welcome Kristina back and we highly recommend her for future house sits with excellent pet care!

Anna took great care of my cats. She was easy to communicate with. I would recommend her, no question.

April and her family were absolutely incredible. They took excellent care of my home and pets. They went above and beyond cleaning my house and even raked all the leaves in my yard which must have taken hours. They are truly a remarkable and sweet family.

While my sweet Roxy seems okay and that is what is most important to me, I do not feel my home was respected while I was gone. I did still give a generous review. This is my first negative experience since joining Zeewoi. I was hesitant when two days prior to the sit, I was asked to see if one of the other applicants could be asked to come instead after we had already confirmed the sit, spoke on the phone and I declined the many other applicants. I did give permission to use the hot tub; however it had to be completely emptied and cleaned when I returned home. I am not sure how the cover holder ended up in the hot tub or why it looked like a filthy bubble bath. It was sanitized before the sit. I have never seen it that dirty in the entire two years I have owned it. What happened? The half bath sink has stains on it Did someone dye their hair? My digital picture frame is broke. Was it knocked off the end table? To my surprise, the master bathroom toilet was not flushed. Clothes and glassware were left behind. Text me your address and I will happily return these items. I am sorry to say I am disappointed and these things can be replaced and/or fixed. However, it does leave me to wonder how safe and cared for Roxy really was.

We were so thrilled to have Merrill sit for us, especially on short notice and for just a couple days. She communicated before, during and after her stay , so we actually got to meet her! She’s very charming and our house was spotless . Our kitty, Shoe was happy as well and didn’t miss a beat in her routine! We all hope Merrill will come back to see us. We highly recommend her as a 5-star sitter!

Will and Elle were fantastic from start to finish. Communication was great, they were early to arrive, sent updates, the house was immaculate when they left, and most importantly Fritz, my pup, seemed very happy when I got back
