It was a truly great experience to meet Maria, Josip and their sweet son and to look after their two gorgeous Siamese cats. The cats loved cuddles multiple times during the day and particularly sitting with us or on us while watching films on lots of streaming channels. Leelou was the sweetest little creature...she gave us lots of kisses and would ask to be held and loved and Harry would lie down and ask for his tummy to be stroked. He also amused us a lot with his antics and the way he enjoyed playing. They also loved their food but were very kind to let us sleep as much as we wanted each morning without waking us up. The clean, comfortable home is surrounded by wonderful walks and only 15 minutes walk (or bus or scooter) to various supermarkets and the metro, so we could get into the centre of Helsinki door to door in around 30 minutes. All in all, a beautiful stay! We would not hesitate to look after Harry and Leelou again.
Fantastic sit in Exmouth, about a 40 minute walk to 'town', down hill on the way there! Bus stop at end of street for those not wanting to walk! Being uphill from the seafront provided lovely views from the lounge and front terrace! Lovely warm home, with everything you could possibly need to have a very enjoyable stay. Rachel was absolutely lovely and 'on point' with communication throughout and left detailed instructions, but ran through everything on my arrival. Emma, Henry, and Gibbs were all fantastic - all mild mannered and very well behaved. All loved snuggles on the sofa, sometimes all 3 at once! Both dogs were well behaved on our walks around the streets and parks. Both enjoyed the sniffing opportunity as much as the walk itself! Feeding time and walk time for Emma and Henry came with a 'happy' dance. If Rachel and her family are seeking a sitter in the future, do check it out. Great place to stay, great animals, and Exmouth is well worth a visit.
We arrived in Dingle to a very warm welcome from Aideen and Tony.We had a great chat and got on with them instantly. Aideen and Tony's house is a beautiful, stylish and comfortable home set in an idyllic location beneath the Kerry hillside with views of the estuary and sea beyond. Daisy and Boo Boo are just the most adorable dogs, really well trained and no bother. They love human company and are very funny in their quest to grab your attention, each with their own different strategies. They like routine and once they have had a beach walk and been fed, they are happy for the rest of the day. We enjoyed every minute of of our stay and would gladly return to Aideen and Tony's again.
