The short version of our review is, we really, REALLY don't want Katie to go back to the US. Longer version - we knew just from looking at Katie's photos, with her gorgeous Archie and various other animals (especially love the goat!) and her exuberant solo travel pics, that we would get on like a house on fire, and so it proved. She understood our dogs from the beginning, we discussed the outrageousness of the negative press staffies/pitbull types in the US receive, when they are just brilliant little dogs. Welly took to Katie like he'd known her forever, and Ace being an idiot doughnut of a greyhound just thinks everyone new is well, ace. They were both brilliant with her, actually I don't think they even noticed we'd snuck out. As a house sitter, she was impeccable, giving great updates and photos; she was super tidy, organised, reliable, everything you want and need in a house sitter. If you get a chance to meet Katie, both you and your pet/s will love her, as we all did.
Kim was fantastic. She was warm, friendly, fun and came with heaps of experience and expertise in caring for animals. My husband and I were away on separate trips and he returned before me to a beautifully tidy, clean house and a content happy dog. We couldn’t ask for more. Organised and great communication. Pure five star sitter and we would love Kim to return.
