I want to thank and recommend Ros from Oodles of Paws for taking exceptional care of our Dachhund, Bella for the past 5 weeks. Bella was visiting us and could not stay at home alone. Ros picked her up everyday and dropped her off in the afternoon. Bella had great fun playing with her little friend and was very well looked after! Thank you, Ros!

Ros has an incredible affinity with the dogs she cares for, and so do they for her. She is kind, caring and trustworthy. That also shows in her other life as a Nurse, wife and a Mum. Small dogs are who come under her care are very lucky, as are their owners. ‘Oodles of Paws’ is thoroughly recommended for both Doggy Day Care and Holiday overnight care too *****

Roslyn is a wonderful owner. Dedicated to her fur babies and always willing to help the owners in any way she can. It is like a lovely "doggy kindy" and all the dogs look so happy and relaxed. I am a senior and so is my darling fur baby and we don't know what we would do without Roslyn and Oodles of paws.

Ros is fantastic with our elderly family dog Bella who loves going to doggy day school. Ros picked her up on short notice (30 mins) and pampered her when she was distressed. We get pictures sent to our phone of Bella playing in their big, secure garden. I would recommend Oodles of Paws without hesitation. Ros is a joy to deal with and prices are very reasonable.

Little Lucy (9 mths) was timid and uncertain around other dogs until she started with Ros and her fur babies. Going to doggy daycare has allowed Lucy to become comfortable and learn how to play with others in a safe environment. The genuine care displayed has enable me to feel 100% safe with Lucy being with Ros while I work all day. Thanks Ros for giving Lucy a fun filled day with her friends. 🐶😘

We send our shoodles to Roslyn when we go away and couldn’t be happier. She sends updates of our fur babies and they come home happy and healthy. My babies were notorious for hunger strikes and other dramatics.... needless to say they are perfect angels here. Roslyn and her family are caring and loving- I would not hesitate to recommend Oodles of Paws for your next family holiday pet vacation.

Roslyn walked my large Aussie shepherd twice a day whilst I was away and has also looked after him when both of us were away for a short time. She's great with dogs and owners and very reliable. I got lots of photos of him too!

Roslyn, is very warm and caring dog handler and has a true love of dogs that is easy to see when she is handling and playing with the dogs in her care. I will have no problem leaving my guy in her care again thank you so much Roslyn.

I’ve had my little Shitzu in for doggy day care a few times whilst I was living in Brisbane and he absolutely loved it! I had peace of mind knowing he’d be having a ball making new friends whilst in good hands. A great facility at really affordable prices! Very pleased with the service, couldn’t recommend highly enough! :)

First time I've used the cattery since it changed ownership. It was good to see that the same staff members were still there. Maggsie was well fed and had been groomed when I collected her. The service is 5 star 😁, but a surcharge for weekends has been added 😞... …

My dog Neo has been going to Fido & Felix for about 9 years since David owned it. Every time Neo comes home he's so happy and relaxed. My wife and I highly recommended Fido & Felix.

I don't normally write reviews but our experience with the wonderful staff at Felix and Fido Kennels truly deserve it. We had our 4 year Doberman Roxy stay for 5 weeks in Sept/Oct. We could tell she was well looked after by her behaviour following her stay - happy and well adjusted and she smelt great! They even called me to check her legs were OK as she had recently had cruciate ligament surgery. Home away from home for our girl.

Our dog Oakey was booked into Fido over Christmas and we are so pleased with his care and stay. The whole process is smooth, from the online booking, drop off and pickup, seamless. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and they are sure to ask about your dogs behaviour to ensure they match them with the right dogs. Our dog was super happy when he was picked up and we were told he was matched with another dog of the same energy and they had so much fun playing. Other kennels don’t compare to Fido and the care they give. We will be returning to Fido for all our upcoming holidays. Thankyou!

We have used Fido and Felix a few times now. The first time was last minute and stressful for us and our dog. They were so helpful and amazing. Our dog now pulls on the lead at the front gate to get inside like she is at the dog park. The staff are professional, warm and welcoming and our dog always comes home happy and healthy (and clean and smelling lovely). If you need to leave your loved four legged family member somewhere for a while, I’d recommend Fido and Felix.

I had the BEST customer service to date from Fido & Felix Gumdale. The staff were very caring and professional, the facilities were great and most importantly my Husky loved her stay and even came home freshly washed. It was the small attention to detail that makes them stand out from other boarding kennels. I will be using Fido and Felix Gumdale for my boarding needs and recommend you give them a try too, you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys for having Nami, look forward to having her stay with you again soon!

We have used Fido & Felix for many years. We are very happy with the new owners. Both our dog and cat come home very relaxed and happy. Also the longer opening hours they now have makes it much easier to drop off and pick up our pets. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We left our two dachies here - first time ever being away from home and we were so worried, but they LOVED it! Also better behaved! Cannot recommend Fido and Felix enough, kind and attentive staff who care about your fur friends and it shows. Will drop them here always!

Our Lola stayed a week @ Fido & Felix. She came home happy, well fed. Nicely groomed. We will definitely use their services again.

We have always been very happy with the service at Fido and Felix and with new ownership we still are. Gidee came home happy and relaxed and settled back into home life very quickly. We feel confident that she is well cared for and sees it as her second home.

Thanks again for another stay at Shady Acres Pet Resort for 3 nights. We came home happy and clean to our Mumma. We will be back in August and November for our next visits. Great spot. I was very, very reluctant to leave my dogs at a kennel but shady acres really looked after them and they had a lovely time.

Our little doggo seemed to have enjoyed his stay. Was very happy when we picked him up, and loved the young lady who bought him out. Had been given a bath and a brush before pick-up. Highly recommend Shady Acres.

Lovely kennels, my 12yo pup loves going there and always comes home freshly washed. It's nice to have peace of mind that she is being well cared for.

So thankful for Shady Acres Pet Resort, Angela was so lovely to us while we were up in QLD for a funeral. It was so lovely to get our furbaby out for day release for a couple of days as well. So loved seeing him. Thank you!!!!

Really disappointed with this place after reading so many great reviews. My dog had to stay for 6 weeks before traveling to NZ and during this time I had barely any communication from them, no photos and only one update on how he was doing after emailing several times. I am owed a refund for two nights stay which I have had no response from for several weeks now even though this was discussed and agreed well in advance.

This is a late review but finally I have taken some time as I felt this place deserved a good review. Our 2 puppies were left there late Dec - Jan 2021. We requested doe both to be together as they are best friends. Our little girl was obviously sad and missed us a lot. The staff asked us questions and they mentioned they fed the dogs premium food. We were new dog owners and learnt from their advise. When we picked up our dogs the older boy puppy was so happy, energetic he didn’t miss us much, the girl puppy missed us cause she is very attached to us. Both dogs smelled so good, they looked healthy and their coat was healthier than when we dropped them off. When they came home even their stools were healthier (good amount, less smelly) immediately we knew the puppies had received best food and treatment. We learnt from the experience and bought the dogs premium food since then thanks to our experience in this Pet Motel and professional caring staff. I highly recommend this place, we made a great choice and we were given good advise which we have been following regarding diet. Thank you to all the staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just collected my 15 month old Lab. Could not be happier…. me and the dog! It is apparent that this kennel is run very professionally and they really care about the dogs. Will be using this kennel regularly. Happy, healthy and clean lab collected 🙏 …

My dog seemed very happy and content after her stay over the Easter weekend. She came home so clean and shiny that my six year old said she sparkled. Obviously she enjoyed the food and company of other dogs and was relaxed and tired out which was great! I would happily book her here again and impressed that they do look after large dogs.

I am not normally one to make a fuss but on this account it is well deserved. We have been boarding our dearest family member at Castelan Boarding Kennels for 7 years and every time we go away she looks forward to going on her holiday at the kennels...The staff greet us and treat us like family and the service is a 10 out of 10....Our Malteze Misty is very well looked after at the kennels and she is fed well and when we are ready she comes home clean and smelling fresh.. We will continue to board her here ….

We'ved used Castelan approximately 3 times previously in the last few years and have booked our German Shepherd's next holiday there. Prices are reasonable, and our pup is always well looked after by Helen and Lance and the staff. She is always well groomed upon pick up. They are always friendly and I really appreciate their knowledge of the breed as they have many years of experience breeding German Shepherds. Many thanks for the wonderful service, keep up the great work!

My dogs have stayed at Castelan on a number of occasions and have always been well cared for. I find both the owners and the staff very friendly and they obviously have a genuine love of animals. Dogs always come home clean as happy. Jules

Always a great experience at Castelan. Our dog loves going there, and always comes home happy and clean. Lovely, caring staff. We've been taking our dog there for 7 years and can't bring myself to take him anywhere else. Would highly recommend.

I have been taking my staffies to Castelan for about 3 years now. I am extremely happy with the service from them. One of my staffies has had skin allergies in the past and they are more than happy for me to bring my own food along and feed it to her at no extra cost. And they always smell so nice when I pick them up! Highly recommend this kennel.

We bought our girl 6 years ago today from Castelan and we could not have a better dog. The dog now has a cat that she loves and both are coming in for care over the holidays. We never worry about Ziva when she is with Helen and Lance.

Be very cautious of this boarding facility. The moment I have time to write a comprehensive review, I will include every detail that I can, as well as photographic evidence as to why you should avoid them. Our dog was left with open wounds after only a 3 night stay. They are assuming we are only after a refund and that this happened in our care, until we sent them photos of the dogs while still on their property at pick up, with the open sores in full view. Please be careful about boarding your pet here and ask to see the facility in which they will be kept first! Our dogs were bathed hours before drop off but came back to us with dirt in their fur wh we re they had been laying. Ask to check where they will be kept before you leave your dogs there. We wish we had! Edit: We didn't know we needed to INSPECT our dogs upon pick up but we messaged them within hours with photos of the wounds. They tried to blame us and said that we should have had a dog bed in the trailer, the way they do when they travel. Well, unlike them, we don't put our dogs in a trailer. We had them in the car with tonnes of appropriate bedding. We sent them a photo to prove this (which was taken at their facility). We also sent them a photo of our dog's injuries at pick up which, while we didn't see initially, prove that the sores were there before we drove away and therefore occurred at Castelan. To say that "Possibly the dog may have self harmed by jumping in the enclosed kennel trying to get to other nearby dogs" is laughable and shows just how little they paid attention to the dogs themselves or the info we gave them at arrival. The dog with the injuries has severe arthritis and has had many surgeries. She can't jump. She can barely walk very far. These people are obviously not treating the dogs very well. At the next facility that we arrived at that same day, they were APPALLED that this had happened at Castelan. They immediately offered to treat the injuries with a topical mix and kept us up to date about how the dogs (and the wounds were). They came out of Castelan dejected and just generally sad. They came out of the next boarding facility happy, recovered and in high spirits. One last thing, we made it clear to them that we have our boarding fees FULLY paid for by the Army since this is Defence move. Therefore the refund would not benefit us in any way, it simply was requested because they should not be paid for causing our dogs injury.

It isn't up to me to refute the bad commentary on Castelan, other to say that we are delighted with our experiences there. I cant see how an animal would pick up dirt at Castelan, given the hygiene focus of the owners and the nature of the enclosures. We have taken our Jack Russell treasures there for ten years, sometimes leaving them for three weeks. And we are now introducing a new cat to the experience. That is without second thought for us. Unless you have proof positive, on pick up, that there is any issue with an animal then coming back a couple of hours later is a tad cute. As much could have happened in that couple of hours, as the owners would like to claim as have happened in the Castelan care. Facebook thuggery is a cheap trick in my opinion.

What excellent kennels. Picked up out 2 dogs after 17 days holiday. They were extremely well looked after, happy , healthy and both groomed beautifully. Thank you so much for their brilliant care. See you in December X

Spoke to possibly Lyn, possibly Helen?... Blunt unfriendly experience. Was recommended this place and that Helen was great based on many years of use. Shame considering I was looking for place for future bookings too. A very poor response, basically you don't believe me, I guess congratulations to Lyn then on her first ever negative comment. I phoned 5 other Kennels all of which were booked out and all provided much better phone service... This was feedback not a personal attack or business defamation. You need to learn the difference and be more mature with your feedback.

I had known about Bayside Barkers for quite a while and as soon as Claire began to offer pick ups from Thorneside way, I was keen to secure a spot for my pup. Claire has an amazing outdoor and undercover set up with plenty space for dogs to enjoy just being a dog! The only reason I have considered doggy daycare is because I know Bayside Barkers is an exceptional service and Claire is so kind and caring with all her dogs. It has fast become one of Rocky’s favourite days and it didn’t take him long to come racing out to greet Claire each week. I think that says it all!

Claire runs a wonderful doggy day care at her home in Capalaba. We love the pick up and drop off service, the training exercises and the update photos in the Facebook group. My little Chihuahua has the best time there!

Boston’s favourite day of the week is Wednesday when he gets to see Aunty Claire and run around. The pick up service Claire provides is fantastic, we couldn’t get Boston there without it. Boston always sleeps well on Wednesday nights.

My Toby has been with Claire for nearly 9 years. He adores her. Claire has a special relationship with all her dogs and loves and cares for them as if they were her own family members. Absolutely the best!!!

Dasher absolutely loves her Monday’s and Tuesdays at Bayside Barkers! Claire provides an amazing service and makes sure the groups are small and play styles well matched. There is plenty of thought put into providing both mental and physical stimulation and I love knowing that Dasher is having the time of her life and learning some puppy manners while I’m at work. Claire absolutely adores her doggy pack and I couldn’t recommend the service enough 😊

Claire provides first class doggy daycare for our little fur babies. There is no question of just leaving the dogs to their own devices. Far from it! Claire invests her money, time and energy into creating a stimulating and fun time for the dogs, complemented by home made healthy treats, baths, and lots of hugs. I can't recommend her highly enough!

My mini poodle Tully absolutely loves her days at Bayside Barkers. Claire provides an excellent service and ensures that Tully comes home exercised, socialised and most importantly very happy. The environment is stimulating and fun and I can’t recommend highly enough.

Always had amazing experiences here our boy who sadly passed in February use to absolutely love going here when we went away he was always so happy when he realised where we were taking him and everytime he would run up to Helen so excited to see her again we loved hearing stories of all the friends he made from Helen When we’d pick him up he’d be happy to see us but sad to leave the other dogs and Helen and I think that speaks volumes about how caring the owners of chandler boarding kennels are

This was our first time using this particular kennel and we will 100% be back. Our kelpie has come home so happy and healthy. We have used other kennels in the past with bad experiences. Wow! This was the first time we had boarded our dog Gus after moving here from Canada. The three weeks he spent in quarantine and travel had made him clingly at times, so even leaving him for a few days had us anxious. Well, we needn't have worried as Helen and her husband made him feel right at home. And while he was happy to see us when we returned, he apparently enjoyed his 'holiday' there as much as we had ours. Fabulous caring people, plenty of new friends and great rates. Great kennels. My two dogs were very well cared for. They came back very happy, and for my older dog, that never happens when she stays in kennels. She was obviously very well cared for and doted on by the lady.

A great prompt service for finding the perfect pet sitter. We have used Don’t Fret Pet twice now for Xmas stays and it’s been so handy. We used the same minder our second time and again our sitter and dog got along great and we got updates and pictures throughout. Will use again and again!!

We had a wonderful experience with Don't Fret Pet! Our dog has separation anxiety, so we didn't feel comfortable leaving him at a kennel while we went away. Don't Fret Pet asked us detailed questions in order to find the ideal home for our dog. Pam did a perfect job looking after our dog - she took him out on walks, played with him, and sent us photos and updates each day.

Don't Fret Pets were an excellent service. They got back to me straight away after I put in my website request. Dianne kept me informed every step of the way when finding a minder for my pup. Setting up a meet and greet with Terry was smooth and Terry was a lovely man who took excellent care of my dog while I was away. I am very happy with the service I received from Don't Fret Pets and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Lee cared for our Elly May so well. It's a pleasure to find your pupper has had a happy experience. After a shy start day 1 with the other dogs on the afternoon walk I believe she was the life of the party after that.

This was the first time that our 11 year old Beagle Florence was left with carers. I was recommended by a friend that also have a senior dog to No Fret Pets. There service was professional and caring. The booking process is easy and straightforward online. It was wonderful to meet Angie and David with Florence. This was our first time leaving Salty with a petsitter. I felt reassured by the thorough vetting process Don't Fret Pet uses to select their petsitters. They called me to talk through the process, and having a meet and greet with the petsitter in advance was great. Knowing that there was a team of people behind the scenes who could assist if there was a problem was also very reassuring. Salty had an excellent time with Pam, and came home relaxed and happy. I would have no hesitation using Don't Fret Pet again, and have already pre-booked for another two upcoming holidays. I know Salty is in the best hands, with carers who love what they do.

I was very stressed about leaving my boys, let alone with a stranger, but Carol was just wonderful and spoilt them totally. Such a caring lovely lady.

Don't Fret Pet were efficient and thorough. A pet sitter was found quickly and our sitter, Marissa and her family were wonderful. They looked after our dog so well, kept us up to date with photos and messages. I would highly recommend this service.
