We have had the pleasure of sitting for Lori and Robert a couple of times now. It's a treat to spend time with the mischeivious Fiona, and the fiercely independent Seamus! Lori and Robert have a lovely home in the old Ballard neighborhood - close to everything, and easy to navigate with public transit. Communication is always excellent with Lori and Robert, and we appreciate easy-going they are. It's been delightful, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!
We had a beautiful stay in Jane and Mickael’s house, which is very comfortable. Their dog Bruno was very lovely and friendly. It was a pleasure to take care of him. Easy to go to Sydney by train.
Patrick and his lovely family gave us a warm welcome into their charming and comfortable home. The house is located in a rural area with lots of lovely field and forest walks close by. The house is tastefully decorated with a warm country feel. The family generously provided a home cooked meal the day we arrived. With plenty of time before they headed off on their holiday, Patrick and the children showed us some of their favourite walks, pointed out the picturesque nearby villages (and pooch-friendly local pubs) plus a fabulous farm shop within walking distance. They also gave us clear instructions on looking after the house - everything was very straightforward, and they were very relaxed, which made us feel instantly at ease. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay so enjoyed sitting and or working in various areas of the large garden. Our favourite spots were to breakfast on the outdoor terrace overlooking the beautiful Chiltern Hills and relax later in the day in the shaded hammocks. The pets were all very easy to look after. Monty and Jasper were lovable, energetic and obedient. They were very enthusiastic on each of their three walks a day. It’s an absolute delight to watch the joy they take in their adventures through the countryside. They explored a lot but always kept an eye on us too. They do love to be with ‘their’ people. Arlo and Mittens were also very affectionate, but we didn’t see much of them as they are very independent and were out most of the time. We did manage a daily cuddle though. We had no car but would recommend one if you want to go further afield to the lovely local market towns and or see other sights. We did call a taxi occasionally, which was affordable. Patrick and the family are lovely people, and it was great to meet them. We would highly recommend sitting for them and their adorable pets. This was a perfect pet sitting experience for us. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to return in the future. Thank you Patrick and family!
Oh Gogo, is a very beautiful cat. He is so playful, loves a lot of attention and very affectionate. Sarah is very responsible, she prepared a detailed guide for caring for a cat and a house for us. She has beautiful and comfortable apartments, with a great location next to the lake. We really enjoyed our time with Gogo and would love to come back again.
Harold is such a sweet doggy, and Buster is a little shy but warmed up a little bit later. Great accommodations, location, and of course communication from Rebecca. Overall great experience
Chloe was a sweet little 😇 angel. She slept most of the time but enjoyed sleeping on the sofa and snuggling up next to us. Donna’s home is really beautiful, lovely decorations from a designer’s touch. She was very kind as well, always responding to our messages and offering support. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and convenient to many amenities. It was definitely one of my favorite sits.
