We had an incredible stay at Ian and Sally's home in Chipping Sodbury. They warmly welcomed us into their home and took us out for dinner on the night of our arrival. It was a pleasure to get to them and receive thorough instructions on the house and pets before they left. Tinkerbelle is a delightful cat who warmed up to us quickly. We enjoyed our evening snuggles with her and our time in the garden! There were also fish in the pond that had to be fed each evening. We enjoyed feeding them and watching them grow during our month-long stay. The house was very comfortable and the village was very cute. The Queen's Jubilee was happening during our stay and we were lucky enough to participate in the communities events. We would highly recommend this housesit!
Looking after Lyra was a joy and she loves nothing more than chilling out with you when you are in the house with no fuss. But it was great to get outside with her for long walks especially as Richmond Park is so close. Jonathan and Zara's place is well equipped with everything that you need for an enjoyable stay and is well connected right on local bus routes into Richmond, Clapham and beyond.
Emma is the sweetest & happiest pup. It was a pleasure sitting for her and Debbie. Debbie was organized, friendly, and communicative. It was very easy sitting for her. I was very comfortable in the condo which is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
Thank you very much Darren and Eva for the opportunity to take care of your adorable Tilly and to live at your beautiful house. This petset was very easy and communication as well. I received all needed instructions and videos beforehand. Tilly is very independent cat and a little bit shy so most of the time she was chilling alone, which I think she likes. Excellent work separate room, great WIFI, super comfortable location, everything is incredibly clean, amazing kitchen and even a piano. I will be happy to come back to you again. Thanks again.
We had a wonderful experience caring for Anne’s home and her pets! Bono is a very loving and obedient dog who loves his daily walks but is happy to just relax most of the day; and Kitty is an affectionate and friendly cat who is just as happy lounging inside as she is spending time out of the house on her own. Anne has a lovely, modern home in a safe area with friendly neighbors and is just a short walk into the village. Nearby you can find a supermarket, bakery, butcher shop and a couple of tapas bars and restaurants. Gérgal is just off the motorway, making it easy to take short day trips to explore Almería, the mountains and the coast. We felt very safe and would recommend caring for Anne’s home to anyone! Great experience!
I felt so uncomfortable sitting for Brian and Michele. I wouldn’t sit for them if they paid me. In all my years of house and pet sitting, I’ve never experienced people like this, It’s my fault for not taking their 1 review seriously. First off I drove all the way from Texas to California to sit for three weeks rather than fly since it was so last minute during Christmas season and you’d think they’d appreciate that. That turned into 3 days. The 3rd day I didn’t get to walk Fiona in the morning. Brian called and yelled and berated me. Demanding I walk her 4 times even though in the listing it says 2-3. He spoke to me like I was a maid or servant saying that my only priority here was Fiona and it didn’t matter why I didn’t get to walk her yet. This grown man felt so comfortable yelling and harassing a young woman rather than calmly addressing concerns? Honestly disgusting to try intimidate me and they even encouraged me to leave. Yet they then got angry when I told them I felt anxious staying after this incident. If he would have expressed his concern calmly I would have understood rather than harass and scream at me like a Hitler dictator. They’re house rules are inconsistent, the smoking I respect as I don’t smoke or drink. However, I was not allowed to light a candle? …although candles were set out but they felt like implementing that rule last minute. Also, the listing doesn’t say this but there are people living in their garage in the backyard. They gave me 4 hours to vacate their home 3 days before we agreed for me to leave the 23rd. I didn’t sleep within the sheet as the sheets had leftover hair and dust. Yet expected me to wash their sheets within the four hour notice I was given. This sit was such a scary, heartbreaking experience. I went out of my way and had to deal with being spoken to like an incoherent and as less than human being by Brian and Michele.
