Nicole
Nicole and Tom are generous, welcoming, easy going and considerate, we felt comfortable from the start. We stayed in their annex, so peaceful and slept so well on a very comfortable bed but also had use of living areas in their lovely home. Dexter and Maisie are a delight, so well behaved and loving life. They have plenty of space to run around, they love playing ball. Very well trained and easy to be out with. My husband walked them while I was on a course, he enjoyed it so much sometimes they were out for three hours. There are some lovely areas to explore. Dexter loves sticks and Maisie decides where to explore. Preferably where there’s water to have a swim. He looks out for her if he gets back before her, such good companions. Maisie likes her own space in the evening, Dexter likes to sit with you in the evening but only if he’s invited, such good manners. They even tell you it’s time to let them out an hour or so before bed. Given the opportunity we would love to sit for this family again. Thank you Nicole and Tom

Merlin and TomTom are the two furry characters here -- different characters, to be sure, but both independent, both quite handsome, and both vociferous once they warm up and discover you'll serve as a good stand-in for meals and tummy rubs til their real "parents" come home. John and Patrick have a lovely country home with an expansive garden where I happily remained for quite a few of the days I had there -- such wonderful peace and tranquility. There was a very clear and complete list of instructions and information provided which I appreciated and if I still had a question, John was very responsive via WhatsApp. Hopefully, you'll have a car, as there are numerous gardens and National Trust properties to visit and John provided many suggestions that proved to be lovely adventures. Alas, I didn't get to visit all of the places he included, so hopefully, I will have a chance to return -- which I will gladly do in a heartbeat. In response to John's kind remarks about my stay, I would also respond by awarding six stars, if I could, to this pet sit opportunity -- thoughtful owners, lovely pets, and in a beautiful part of the country!

Big beautiful Stokes was a pleasure to look after. He is very good at playtime and loves to romp around with his many toys. He is a gentle soul who enjoys hanging out, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the time we spent with him (and missed him when we left). Do not be concerned if he is a bit hissy or growly - he was with us but soon seemed comfortable and happy, and this seems to be a normal way he expresses himself.

Stokes was no trouble to feed, and his self-cleaning litter box did all the work there!

Sinead was lovely and gave me a video tour of the flat before we arrived, as well as a thorough explanation of everything in person. She was soon to be moving from this location, but as the flat was extremely clean, comfortable and well-equipped, I can confidently assume that the new house will be wonderful as well!

Cuddles. Snuggles. A retreat of a sit.

First and foremost Sphinxy! She is so loveable and warm. My favorite part was Sphinxy's cuddles and when she feel asleep on me or next to me. Her care needs were simple and straightforward. She communicate her needs very well. Really a pleasure to care for her. I miss her already!!

Second, Becky and Scott were such interesting and kind people. They opened their home to us like good friends. I really enjoyed learning about them and they showed a genuine interest in getting to know us. They helped us arrange travel plans (especially helpful after our flight was delayed) and drove us to the market to get set-up for the next couple of days. They made us feel at home. Communication was excellent. They provided us with recommendations and resources to enjoy our time in SMA.

Finally, their home was a sanctuary. The view! Sunsets! Hot air balloons! The quietness. Perfect place to relax (and work from home). And if you need more than this to relax, you can schedule an at-home massage. If you enjoy a walk, you can walk through the neighborhood which has lovely homes along the way. Really a peaceful and serene home environment.

Thank you so much for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to spend the holiday season with Sphinxy in your lovely home!

The stay at Bernice's house was just great. Bernice is a gracious host and makes sure that the instructions for the care of the cats are available and clear. The apartment is in a very secure complex in a great location to the sea for morning walks or swimming/hanging out at the beach.
While Ras al Khaimah is not IN Dubai, its pretty close and you can access Dubai easily with private transport or a buses. ( You would need to take a cab to the bus stop).
There is a mall very close to the apartment and groceries are easily attainable.
It is a great sit if you want to explore the middle east further before or after the sit.
The cats are lovely and we because great pals.
Thanks Bernice for a lovely stay!

Alison
Ginko is very mellow 19 year old cat who enjoys a little cream cheese in the morning. She spends most of her time on her heated mat and LOVES being brushed. Overall, she is low maintenance and very loving.

Alison and Julian are excellent hosts. The guest bed is the MOST comfortable of any sit we have done. Their house is one of the most interesting we have stayed. Alison is an artist and much of her work is displayed in her studio and throughout the house. In addition to her work, every lamp, chair, musical instrument, and various collections are unique and interesting. Her flower/plant garden is an oasis in an already beautiful city. Most of the plants are on a drip system, but we did enjoy the calming time in the evening watering the potted and plants and the few in ground ones that were not already being automatically watered. Alison and Julian are both accomplished musicians. Julien was a part of a music retreat and workshop in Canada while we on the sit.

Shoreline is well located in north Seattle. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. So much to do in every direction. Easy trips to downtown Seattle, various bodies of water, many hikes, bike rides, islands to explore. So much to see and do that we are already planning another trip to the area next year.

Highly recommend Alison's and Julien's home with Ginko. You will want to come back.
