Stefanie and Sebastian were very nice hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed in the apartment and kept it clean and tidy. Their sweet Jack Russell Terrier, Lilly, was instantly trusting and immediately rolled onto her back to be stroked on the belly. She is a real whirlwind, was totally playful and spent a lot of time with us, was always where we were and could be entertained for hours with her ball. Despite being close to the center, the apartment was quiet and spacious which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend this dogsit and already miss Lilly :)

We had the loveliest house and pet sit experience at Angharad’s. Dippy the dog is so sweet, very sociable, loves walks and playing ball and has amazing recall. The house was lovely, clean, convenient and in a brilliant location within walking distance to Brecon town as well as close to some amazing hikes and trails in the Bannau Brycheiniog. The communication with Angharad was brilliant and any questions we had before and during the sit were answered immediately. It was a pleasure to look after Dippy and we had everything we needed to make sure she was looked after properly whilst her parents were away! Diolch, Sean & Hayley
Lola is a well-trained and disciplined, photogenic dog who has numerous tricks to show you. Friendly and funny, we found her antics delightful to watch and be engaged in. Her enthusiasm for exploring made her an easy companion to have on walks and mid-range to longer hikes. She has good energy and a well-maintained pace. Every outing seemed to fascinate her. She was well-behaved yet curious about other dogs on the trails. The area in which Lola lives has numerous options for neighbourhood and park walks. Mount Douglas Park is nearby and has richly treed, diverse trails for easy hikes with increasing increments of difficulty. Rhys and Leslie are wonderfully hospitable, engaging and highly conversant on myriad topics. There are countless adventure stories to enjoy and Rhys proved himself adept in the kitchen. We were honoured to have Leslie share her artistic projects with us. They ensured that we had time to bond with Lola, gave detailed notes in their welcome guide and made sure we were comfortable with all aspects of Lola’s and their home’s upkeep. The whole experience was so welcoming and gratifying, we would happily return if the opportunity arises so we can ‘live’ with Rhys, Leslie and Lola, the super-dog, again.
Stephanie and Jeff are lovely people and exceptionally hospitable hosts. Relaxed, warm and welcoming from our first interview through our entire experience. They seemed to appreciate a few photos a day as they missed the pups. Thoughtful, organized, perfect communication, clear expectations and a spotless, well organized, cozy, well located home. The furnishings and beds are comfortable and the outdoor kitchen is a joy to cook in. Some good restaurants nearby: I recommend Johnny’s for the homemade mini corn dogs, schnitzel, and nachos. And Bella Bakery for the lemon poppyseed, scone. My children loved their days waking up next to these sweet little dogs. The dogs were cuddly, sweet and gentle. Only Gypsy barked(barely at all) and only if someone came particularly near her house. All the dogs slept through the night and had zero accidents in the house. Gypsy was good on leash for her walks. Older gentleman Jauger wears a diaper wrap in the house which was super simple and easily managed. In fact we let him in and out enough that he only needed a change of the pee pad in his wrap once! This was a charmed experience. I highly recommend this easy sit. If you want to relax in Calistoga with everything you could need on the proor want in walking distance. Book some time with Gypsy, Oliver and Jaeger. As we drove away my husband said “Make sure you tell them we would be happy to do this again.”.
Gon and Charlie are two lovely cats, very friendly and playful. Kazuna was very warm and her apartment is located in an exciting neighborhood.
