I really enjoyed my stay. Emmet is very friendly, chilled and loveable dog. The neighbourhood is nice, the apartment is beautiful, stylish, tidy, and peaceful being up on a high floor in the building, and is right next to the river so has some nice views and walks. Petra is a lovely, welcoming and thoughtful host. Great communication before and during my stay, and gave some nice recommendations. I am looking forward to returning! Thank you!
Jamie & Tipton great hosts! They left excellent info guide for me and we kept in touch w/ texts. Blue & Chitna are a wonderful pair of pups. They are attentive, sweet and entertaining. Kitty Alabama warmed up and visited me on my bed. She was independent and respectful with her own flap door. Collected eggs from the henhouse & was greeted each morning by the two roosters! Easy sit in the country yet only 15 minutes to Bellingham or Mount Vernon. If you enjoy country living, this is the pet sit for you!
Back to house sitting again at last as we all come out of lockdown. And what an amazing sit.!!! Two weeks of sunshine looking after our cheeky charges, Indie and Alfie. Janna and Tim's home is large and modern, with all mod cons, situated in a quiet end of cul-de-sac position with trees and sports field behind. 2 mins walk from amazing sports centre, and close to the centre of beautiful Ludlow. Great communication with our hosts, Janna and Tim, before and during our sit. Lots of information, maps, walking books etc provided for us to browse through which were really useful in planning our trips. Greatly appreciated, as well as the Prosecco and chocs. Thank you guys ! The scenery in Shropshire is fantastic with stunning views, pretty villages and valleys galore on your doorstep. Ludlow is the perfect base to explore this region. The cats loved having us around and were so easy to care for. Access via cat flap, day and night. No locking / unlocking of cat flap or litter trays either. We certainly hope to have the opportunity to return again.
We had a lovely stay here this August. Great communication with Jo before the stay with a very clear guide. We met Jo briefly when we arrived which was nice and she ran through everything. Zuri was a very easy cat to look after, I have never known a cat to have such a lie in, he likes his morning sleep! The house was clean and tidy and well equipped. The area was a great base to visit local areas and plenty of walks in the country parks. We would happily come back again. Thank you for letting us stay Jo.
We had a great time taking care of Bodie, Peggy, Sugar, and Spice! It really felt like a family, they all get along really well. There’s a really nice trail in their backyard you can take the dogs on. We went in the winter and with the snow it’s beautiful. The house is right down the road from a Hannaford grocery store. Woodstock is only a few minutes away by car which is a huge perk. The cats are really cuddly, and they loved sitting on our laps, super cute. Andy and Judy are very kind, communicative hosts and gave us all the instructions we needed. They made us feel very welcome in their home. We highly recommend this sit!
I LOVED this sit! Emily and Ian were super helpful and welcoming from our first conversation and definitely made me feel totally equipped to take care of Bowie and their place. Bowie is a character - equal parts sweet and sass - who made me laugh to no end. She took a couple of days to warm up, but once she did she was always there to greet me when I got home, up for a game of chasing her treats or little toys and ready to vocally explain to me how it was, indeed, time for her next meal (no matter the time 😆!). The apartment is bright, spacious and a dream spot for a remote worker or anyone who spends a fair amount of time at home. That said, it’s also conveniently located in a lovely neighborhood – easy drive to/from airport, walkable to coffee shops and snacks, and a quick zip down to some surfing beaches! Would highly recommend sitting for this welcoming fam :)
