They carefully vet the people they employ to make sure that they're trustworthy and caring. They are quick to respond to any questions or service requests. Zue and the crew at Silver Hound are really thorough, thoughtful, and great to work with. It is such a nice feeling to come home to pets that you know have been cared for and are doing great. Good communication, nice people, just the best experience.

Google only allowed me to give them 5 stars. But if I had to be honest their service, attention, and love for our family and our fur-baby is truly invaluable. We have been entrusting Zue and O'Brian with our cat Carrie for over 4 years now and consider them members of our family. The level of expertise and commitment they have is evident in the way they care for your furry babies. I know when they watch over Carrie that they love and care for her as if she were their own. One time when we were away our cat got a little sick and Zue and O'Brian went out of their way to make multiple visits to our house on the same day to make sure she was not alone and doing ok. I will always remember that because it further solidified to me that they are not just a business. To further prove their selflessness, during the pandemic while their business was being adversely affected, they offered free dog walks for the elderly population to ensure those at risk did not have to be outside. In short, they are the most good-hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If you and your pets are lucky enough to live in the areas they service, not only do they come highly recommended, they come pet approved too! Our Carrie always looks forward to spending time with her two favorite people!

They do not accommodate clients’ needs. They refused me service because I only needed walks 3 times a week instead of 5. It doesn’t say this anywhere on their site. I work from home 2 days a week and will not pay to have someone walk my dog while I am home. Very disappointing, as they are one of the only dog walking services in my area. They have left me with no way to get my dog out during the day. Edit: Too bad they felt the need to lie in their response to my post. I've added a screenshot of their email saying they do not provide walks for 3 days a week, and that they are "specializing in midday walks every day Monday through Friday." Every experience matters, even for those who do not end up being clients. I think they need to take some marketing courses.

This place is brilliant. I have been coming here for 11 years with my pup, even though I don't live in NJ anymore. He's so happy here and loves to stay so much that he doesn't even look back at me when he goes off to play. I never worry about him while I'm away as I suspect he has a better time on vacay at preferred pet care than I do on my vacay. 😀♥️

Sam has so much fun at day care! He even gets excited when he sees the PPC 'party van' (i.e. the transport van) driving around the neighborhood while we are out on walks. The drivers always honk for him!

Took our dog here years ago and hope this place has improved. The problem is they have so many animals. At 7p they closed for the night and your dog will be locked in a small concrete pen until they open again in the morning. That didn’t sit well with us. Our dog came home stressed, hoarse and aggressive. Think carefully before you board your dog in a facility.

The Preferred Pet Care team is amazing! My pup Moose ❤️❤️❤️ loves going to daycare. He bounds in the morning and is the busy pup playing all day. Highly recommend the PPC team. The proof is in the picture

The staff was amazing and very helpful! They definitely helped ease my mind of any worries for my dog's first stay with them. They were also able to answer my questions and even relay personal anecdotes of my dog.

Preferred Pet Care team is awesome! My dogs are not the easiest to take care of (one gets injured easily due to a slipped disc and has ibs) and I boarded them there for 5 days (right after an injury from another daycare not keeping a close eye on him). They kept in constant contact with me as well as my dogs came back in perfect health. 10/10 would recommend. Only wished I lived closer so they could be going to daycare there as well.

Preferred Pet is really the perfect place for day care and boarding for your dog. The staff is very friendly and my little man loves going there to play. While on a week long trip, he stayed and was obviously very comfortable and happy while staying there. He's always so eager to return.

We are so lucky to have found Preferred Pet Care for our dog. Our dog is always excited to go there. She pulls towards the door when we arrive in the parking lot. She has been to many day cares in the past. Preferred Pet Care is very responsive, truly care for the dogs, and accommodates the needs of the pets and the owners. My puppy is beyond happy to go to play at Preferred Pet Care. She jumps for joy when we arrive. I can understand why. All the employees are sooooo nice. You can tell they LOVE the dogs & enjoy working there. Whether my 11 month old dog goes for a half or a full day, when she comes home, she eats, drinks water and falls asleep because she’s exhausted!!! Love. Love. Love this place.

My baby girl had the best stay at House of Dogs. Melanie was so good with Frankie, who needs a little extra love because she’s blind. Since Frankie has trouble on a leash it was really nice that she had a large fenced in yard to roam at her own pace. Thank you House of Dogs, Frankie will be back for play time soon!

House of Dogs is an amazing place to take care of your dog. Our 11 year old cockapoo Teddy is so well taken care of and always runs to see Irma. Teddy is so clean when we pick him up. In our 3 years of using House of Dogs we have never ever had a single issue. I highly recommend House of Dogs and they exceed the five star rating.

Kevin has been great with my dog, Bear. Bear has a lot of anxiety and he seems to feel so calm and happy around Kevin. Overall, I have seen Kevin interact with so many dogs of different breeds and sizes. He provides so much care and love to every dog. Ultimately super reliable and trustworthy!

Absolutely stellar experience with House of Dogs! From the moment we dropped off our dog Bear, we knew he was in the best hands. The family is incredibly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable about all things canine. The space is top-notch, with a big fenced backyard, providing plenty of space for dogs to play, socialize, and rest comfortably. They allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing our pup was having just as much fun. We cannot recommend House of Dogs enough – five stars all the way!

The House of Dogs is unmatched! Irma and Melanie go above and beyond my expectations as pet sitters. Fournette is a very needy, high maintenance pup who requires lots of love and attention. It alleviates a lot of stress on my end knowing he has a safe, clean, caring environment to stay while I am away. Wouldn’t leave my child with anyone else!

Being cautious about who looks after my older Brussels Griffon, Pancho, is a priority for me. But after meeting Irma and Melanie at the initial meet and greet, I was instantly reassured. Their thoughtful and caring approach won me over. Pancho, being an older pup, needs extra attention, and they delivered flawlessly. I trust them with Pancho, and I highly recommend their services!

House of Dogs should be your go-to dog boarding business in the North Jersey area! They are an excellent, reputable, and a reliable boarding company. Have left my baby with them multiple times and will always choose them! They have a big, fenced in backyard for the pups and make sure they feel like they’re just at home.

We had to leave Max for 2 weeks and I couldn’t have picked someone better than Irma to take care of him. Max is a high energy dog and their big fenced yard gave him plenty of room to run around with the others. I highly recommend House of Dogs

Jen was amazing with my Poppa. She fed him and gave him a blanket to sleep with (even though he didn’t). She also updated me throughout the day with the cutest pictures and videos of my dog which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again

Jen was very helpful through out the entire process with taking car of my dog Milo. She provided me with video and pictures of Milo to assure me that he is okay and in good hands!! That was a big plus for me since Milo is a big part of our family. I would highly recommend her to friends and family. I will be using her in the future again

Jen groomed both of my 2 year-old Cane Corsos today… they are fairly high energy and she was alone… I was a bit anxious over it but knowing she takes care of my best friend’s dog, I chilled out… and it was ALL worth it because my babies were good and came out of her place calm and clean and nails clipped and that is something that is NOT easy to do! I’d go back a million times over! My two are camera shy but I have pics of them not from today… Caspia is on the left and Roman is on the right ♥️♥️

I reached out to Jen’s Pet Care to have someone check in on our cat. Jen stopped by twice a day to change litter, fill the water bowl, and give insulin shots twice per day. She sent me pics of our cat each time she visited which was really nice. I highly recommend her and plan to use her again around Christmas time.

Jen is great! She’ll update you with pictures, she’s very responsive and patient when it comes to any questions you have, my 135 pound Rottweiler Phoenix did great with her and he’s not normally good with strangers. I left him with her overnight as a last minute plan and she thankfully accommodated for me when it came to drop off/pick up times. I’m so glad I gave her services a chance, & I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again :)

I used Jen’s pet sitting service for a 4th of July trip. It was such a relief to know my two cats and fish were well taken care of while I was away. We have been using ESP Pet Specialists for about 3 years and they are FANTASTIC! They come by 2x a day and feed our 2 senior cats as well as administor their medications without any issues. We love when we receive the AM & PM Pet Journals which include a few photos and text on how the kitties are doing. ESP is an excellent pet service and we highly recommend having them take care of your fur babies while you're away. They truly go above & beyond for your pets!

ESP Pet Specialists are awesome! We hired them to watch our cats while on vacation, and Evan and Anna were great. They truly care for the well-being the pets they care for. They gave us regular updates with photos and were always there when they said they were and paid attention to the notes and instructions we left for them. I highly recommend them, they are trustworthy and so easy to work with.

Everyone at ESP Pet Specialists is amazing. They are professional, caring and will go above and beyond when needed. My pup loves Evan and I know he is getting the best care when I go away and have to leave him. I love getting updates and photos of my pup everyday while I’m away. I have tried various other pet care places. My dog was always withdrawn and nervous when I returned. Now he is his normal self , as if I had just been out for the afternoon, when I return. I would never leave him with anyone else again.

I have a big dog who is very strong and who I’m very particular about who I let around her. From day one Evan has been great and he’s been taking care of Remy for over a year now. I tried Rover and other apps and it was always a terrible experience. Having the flexibility as well as someone I can depend on has really allowed me to have peace of mind. Both Eva and Eva have gone the extra mile, given great care and paid extra attention to my requests and I can’t recommend them enough.

We love Evan, Johnny and the whole team at ESP! Over the last year, ESP has been there for us and Mocha consistently, several times a day, every week, walking him and also working with us as we navigated finding the right food and schedule for our Australian labradoodle puppy. Their dependability, flexibility, and attention to detail has been really differentiated and are attributes that we really value and appreciate. Super caring and reliable. We’ve also boarded Mocha with ESP too and the clear and constant communication flow kept us informed and at ease. Strongly recommend Evan and the team at ESP!!

We have been working with ESP Pets for years to watch our dog Tashi! They are always on time, and treat him with lots of care and attention. Tashi is a slow walker and they are patient and adjust to his speed. They are flexible when last minute changes come up and we need an extra walk and are very good about safety. We also love that they offer weekend and holiday walks, something other dog walkers didn’t offer in the area. When we moved to NJ from Brooklyn that was something I was really surprised to find- not everyone has weekend times around here. We are incredibly happy with this service and Tashi is a happy dog! The walkers do a great job with photos and descriptions of the walk, and they are really good with dogs! I strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for a dog walker in the area. It’s a very convenient, reliable and high quality service!

I use ESP Pet Specialist's for overnight dog boarding while I am away. Their website is excellent for requesting your reservation and they respond very quickly. They provide many photo updates while your pet is watched. The sitter, Patty, is incredible. She does an excellent job with my pup in her home and I always know he will be cared for and safe. Her whole family embraces my animal. I highly recommend ESP Pet Specialists for all your pet needs.

If you are looking for a Dog Walking Service then you don't have to look any further than ESP. They are super professional when it comes to their walkers and support. The platform they operate on is extremely user friendly making it easy to schedule and make comments on all requested services. They make it very easy to receive updates on upcoming services, emailed reports immediately after the service is completed and the ability to provide feedback directly to the walker and management. The walkers themselves are great and very responsive and respectful to feedback. They have gone above and beyond for our dogs when it comes to feedings and cleanup (for the occasional accident). From a customer service perspective, they are FIVE STARS! They have helped us on multiple occasions with last minute requests and/or emergencies. The owner (Evan) is very approachable via phone or text when needed. They are also very accommodating when is comes to weekend, holidays and or last minute cancellations. There may be a small fee for these premium requests but they are very reasonable for what you are requesting. Again, can't recommend them enough.

We've been using ESP for about a year and they are the best! Very trustworthy and our dog just loves his walkers. We were nervous about going on vacation because our pup can be anxious and wary with strangers, but Evan and team took the time to get to know our dog and we can now go on vacation knowing our pup is in great hands. Very nice local pet boarding. Family run. Has a special feel to it. They take their business seriously and they are very friendly. If you can’t reach them on the phone, try another time. They are just busy. Give yourself time before you come in. Other than that, it’s all about the paws.

The absolute best doggy daycare and boarding. I leave my dog there regularly for daycare and routinely overnight 1-2x a week. The staff is so accommodating and lovely, if they miss your phone call they call you back asap. They are a family owned business and you can feel the love and dedication they put into their work. My dog is in love with JP and the rest of the staff. His tail starts wagging the second he gets out of the car. Very reasonable prices as well, less than most north jersey daycares.

my dog is 8 years old and has been coming here since he turned 1 , the care and grooming are excellent. I now have a new puppy as well as my older dog and she loves to come here and play with the other dogs, she comes home exhausted from all the fun she has. Both my dogs are huskies, which are known for their difficult to manage coats, but the groomers at this establishment keep my babies clean and de-matted . Would recommend All About Paws for anyone who needs a boarding/daycare and grooming facility !

The best groomer for my dog, Bruno. He is a full size labradoodle but sheds. When I dropped Bruno off, I told them what I wanted. When Bruno came out, I saw the wonderful job they did. My dog and I are very happy with the service. They are people that live and care for the animals. They treat them very well and know what they are doing. I’m very pleased with the service, the staff is friendly and professional. My dog came out happy with no cuts or missed spots. I definitely recommend it. My Bruno loved it.

My Lucy, has been going to All about Paws for grooming, daycare and boarding since she was 6 months old and now she is 3 years old. Bettina does such an Amazing job when she grooms Lucy that I literally get stopped by people inquiring where I take her. Also regarding boarding and daycare, you won’t find better care takers then Marcelo, Bettina and Olga!!! I never worry about Lucy when she is there.. When Lucy arrives to All about Paws for daycare, grooming or boarding she gets soooo excited to go!! I can barely keep her the car!! Lucy and I are so thankful for Marcelo, Bettina and Olga because when I leave Lucy at All about Paws… it is like I am leaving Lucy with family..❤️ 🐾🐾

We had to switch from another place - and we are so happy we did! I think one of the owners had a last minute emergency while the other was on vacation, yet they did not hesitate to take us on as new customers. They were extremely great with our puppy and best of all she comes home only to sleep soundly til the very next day! We are definitely sticking around for the future! We love this place! Bonus: They feed them for you if needed! :) UPDATE: We had to pull our dog out of this daycare due to the marks and scars she would come home with. When we mentioned it they brushed it off as if it was very normal. We only went there for a few weeks and she started to become aggressive. Before this she never EVER growled at anything or anyone. Thankfully we found another place and we were able to reverse the effects left on our puppy. It took several weeks til the hair even grew back on the scars. The problem seems to be there are way too many dogs a d not enough supervision. Wish it could've worked out. :/

My dogs Piper and Riley have been going to All About Paws for 4.5 years. They’re so amazing that when I moved to NYC 3 years ago, I started traveling all the way to NJ for boarding and grooming instead of finding somewhere local. My dogs love going to All About Paws so much that they get excited every time we turn onto the block. As soon as the playroom door opens, they bolt in there without even saying goodbye to me. When I’m away on vacation, I know my dogs are having their own little vacation too. The owners are also so trustworthy. When a dog who was there at the same time as mine got kennel cough, they immediately called me to let me know my dogs were exposed and tell me what symptoms I should look out for. In the dozens of times I have been to All About Paws over the past 4.5 years, I have never had a bad experience. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Nina is a wonderful caregiver! Our two dogs absolutely love going to her place. She is attentive to their personalities and needs and treats all of the pets in her care with kindness.

I found Nina & Jeff after moving to the area a few months ago to walk my 3 year old cavapoo. He is shy and anxious with new people and takes a while to warm up. Nina was very patient and loving with him and he is now so excited to see her and looks forward to their walks. I have not used their boarding services yet but trust them with my fur baby and definitely would in the future.

My dog loves Nina and her home almost as much as his own family and home (and this is coming from someone who is basically obsessed with their dog). Nina and her husband, Jeff, are so loving and attentive and I trust them implicitly with him. I know that when he is with them, I have nothing to worry about and he is in the best possible care. I’m so grateful to have them down the street from me and couldn’t possibly recommend them more strongly. They are THE BEST!

This is the first time I have had my dog taken care of while we were away with someone other than family and I honestly could not have found a better person than Nina!! Nina is the absolute best. I feel so comfortable leaving my senior dog with her. He is a rescue and gets nervous but loves going to Nina’s. She has an amazing backyard for the dogs to go out in and really cares about them. I love getting pictures of him having fun when I leave him for overnights! Nina and her husband Jeff are the dynamic duo. We started having them take care of our Cockapoo Bailey when he was a puppy. He absolutely loved spending time with them and they have taken care of him overnight multiple times and almost every day. They are extremely trustworthy and Bailey feels like he has a second home. I am so happy that I found a reliable cat sitter in Westfield! We just moved to the area and didn't know anyone who could come feed our cat when went away for the week. They really are the Furry Best! Our dog, Daffy, absolutely loves Adrian which is obviously the most important thing when considering a pet care service. However, the advantages are endless: photos every time he goes out which never fail to make us smile (I've shared some here that Adrian has taken for us). Rapid responses and amazing short timeframe flexibility for when we're in the in the city but want to make sure Daffy is walked and taken care of. The extra effort to provide Daffy with variety, not just to the same place or the same route every day. Adrian really knows Daffy as an individual dog and for us the knowledge that we have a reliable, confident and caring individual to help with Daffy is priceless.

I’ve been on the search for a reliable dog walking company and this is it! They’re the best for my fur-babies. I’ve tried other dog walking services but doesn’t compare to the furry best pet care. Marisa and Drayton are amazing and go above and beyond for our dogs. We had an incident where one of our dogs needed a last minute bath and they were able to squeeze us in. Once I got home my pup was nicely groomed and smelled so good! I can totally trust them with our dogs and know they’ll be in the absolute best care. I’m so happy a service like this is available in my building!

The Furry Best is an awesome service! Drayton is super responsive and flexible with last minute walks. He is great with dogs and knows how to pair your dog with others so they get some much needed play time. All walks are tracked and you receive lots of pictures and feedback when the walk is finished. I had the best experience with Furry Best pet care this past weekend! They took incredible care of our cat Charlotte while we were away on vacation. Their in-house boarding services are very helpful and convenient as they will visit your pet and take of them in the comfort of their home. They took such incredible detailed care of our girl - making sure to feed, play and spend time with her (our cat is a more social cat who demands a lot more attention/time/play). It was so great having Marisa + Drayton care so much for her and enjoy time with her. The updates and messages from the online portal are amazing because you receive photos as well as reports on how your pet is doing.HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is looking for trustworthy and caring people to watch after your furbabies. The furry best pet care is amazing! We got our puppy at 8 weeks, and with both of us working full time we needed someone to feed and play with him during the day. From the start they have accommodated our puppy’s needs by combining services and providing excellent care. We love getting the walk summaries, and our pup absolutely loves the team… They’ve also helped with training our puppy. Not only do they work one-on-one with him, but guided us on how to continue and progress the training. We learned so much from the first session alone! I don’t know what we would do without the Furry Best team! Highly recommended for anyone with a pup needing extra company or training.

We have been using their dog walking services from past few months...My dog always does a happy dance whenever Adrian comes or he sees him from far :) The dog walking services with furry best care is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and we always get all updates on the walk status. I haven’t used boarding services yet but will definitely plan to use it on our next trip !

Honestly the best dog walking service out there! Adrien is SO GREAT with our dog Mica... every time she sees him (even when we see him out and about with other dogs) she gets so excited! It’s like she’s got a new best friend. It’s so rare to find someone who will care for your dog like it’s there own but best furry pet care really goes that extra mile. I often have to schedule last minute walks and never has there been an issue with availability or communication. I know Mica is always safe and cared for in their hands. Also, the rates are more than fair for the exceptional service and care your pet receives. I’ve also found that Mica’s walks and play time with other pups have made her more socialized and well behaved around other animals and that’s all thanks to Best Furry Pet Care and Adrien. You’d be crazy not to try them out!

All I can say is we're very grateful for Furry Best. Natalia is more than what we could ask for as a dog walker. She comes every noon to get Sparky, then they walk around the block, and even before she leaves our house, Natalia will give Sparky a hug, belly rubs him and assures that he's loved even for a short time. We're professionals who work long hours and having Furry Best, especially Natalia, visit Sparky and potty him is what we needed. She's a huge help and we just can't thank her enough for catering Sparky. If you need a dog walker, I definitely recommend furry best! They're amazing and the communication is never in question. They will answer when you message them, Natalia always does. She updates us about their walks, leaves food for Sparky and water to make sure he's good for the day while waiting for us. The Furry Best Pet Care is truly the furry best. It's really easy to schedule an appointment and the dog walk recaps are super helpful to see where they went and if they "went". Dray and Marisa are great with the dogs and treat them like their own. Highly recommended.

They have been consistent and when emergencies have come up, I was impressed by there professionalism and compassion. We went away for 5 days and were nervous to leave our baby with a pet sitter for the first time ever. We can say now as long as it’s Jaime we will never be nervous again! As you can see our cat loved her lol. We received daily photos, all directions were followed as given in regards to feedings/supplements and litter scooping and she even vacuumed around the box which I didn’t ask of her! Came home to a happy, healthy and loved kitty 😊

Jamie is wonderful! She took such great care of our little guy while we were away for a few days! I was green in the area of pet sitting because I usually take the pets everywhere with me lol. But Jamie exceeded my expectations by far! We also communicated daily while I was away, and she even sent me daily pics of my little guy. It was because of Jamie that I could relax while away! My entire family thanks her for that.

Jaime was great with my dog! It was my first time hiring a dog walker but she exceeded the expectation! I received a photo after the walks and he looked so happy. I even noticed his appetite increased which is a great sign that jaime provided much needed exercise.

We hired Jaime to care for our pets in our home while we were away for almost two weeks. We have quite a menagerie - 4 cats and 3 dogs, several of whom have special needs. Jaime was amazing with meeting all of their needs. She kept in touch via text several times during the first few days which gave us great peace of mind. We returned home to happy, healthy pets. We’ve used Jamie now twice with our big boy Archie! Jamie is absolutely amazing and has treated our needy boy pristinely! Our first experience with Jamie found us in a pinch and needing a dog sitter for an unplanned trip. Jamie helped us calm down and made time to make sure we and Archie were comfortable with her. Needless to say we were sold and haven’t looked back since! Jamie thinks about the things most walkers/sitters don’t… she checks the temperature, she pulls in packages if they’re out front, and sends you photos of your furry one without being asked. If you need any of the services Jamie offers, do yourself a favor and book her. You won’t regret it and most importantly, your furry friend(s) will have the best time! We highly recommend Jamie!

Jaime takes really good care of our dog Jager. He seems to be happier than when we leave him behind. She’s super nice - super reliable - I recommend Jaime to take care of your pets while you’re away or even while you’re around.

Jamie stayed at our house with our dog Ollie for an extended stay to care for our dog while we were away and she was absolutely fantastic. Ollie is a senior dog, and he needs twice daily shots of insulin for diabetes, and Jamie managed his care beautifully. Jamie was extremely caring , making sure to keep Ollie well socialized during our absence. She was available in real time to update us, and extremely diligent about ensuring that Ollie was always a happy dog. She was also extremely respectful of our home, which she also took great care of while we were away. We really felt like Jamie treated our dog, and us , like we were her family, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

I was looking for someone who would stay overnights with Cleo when I have to travel for work. I'm new in town so I had a lot of anxiety about finding someone trustworthy and skilled, but Jaime put all my worries to rest. She is very easy to work with, pays careful attention to all instructions and sends multiple updates during the day. Cleo took to Jaime right away and did very well while I was away. She didn't show any sign of stress, which was my top priority. Everything worked out perfectly. I'm lucky to have found Jaime.
