Linda & Ron are warm, welcoming people who never seemed like strangers but more like friends. As we bonded over pizza and wine I learned about their interesting travels and former careers. They then kindly drove me into town and we walked around the river. Their home is immaculate & lovely (thank you for the special touches) and their large yard is an oasis including (fresh veggies gardens/trees, herbs etc. Molly & I loved relaxing outside! Molly is a sweetheart. I loved her independent personality! She will let you know what she wants @ when she wants it. She is super smart and understands a lot of words/phrases. Although she’s independent she was always with me. Arthur is a beautiful Cat ?. He is sweet but also super independent, preferring to be a cat about town only to come home for food while I was there. This is an ideal sit & worth many more stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope we meet again ❤️
Wow! What an amazing home and dogs! This is a not to be missed sit if you love the mountains and very peaceful settings. Kim's home is modern and super tidy and located in idyllic setting with close views of three 14'000 foot peaks (Collegiate's). Luke and Blue are super loveable and well-trained dogs and won me over immediately. There are so many hiking trails within close proximity that the pups are perfect companions to explore with. Kim is super welcoming and accommodating. I absolutely loved my sit here and would highly recommend!
Loved this sit. I forgot how much fun kittens are, and this boy was fun and sweet. Tilly is an amazing dog, also cuddly, loves her belly rubs. She seemed just as happy to lounge around all day or go for a long hike. The pets were amazing but the location was a spectacular sanctuary. On a quiet street, out in the woods with a river and covered bridge in the back yard. Great restaurants 10/15 away in Putnam and not far from Providence if you want to get your city on. This spot was a dream. Second time writing this review because the app is trash….
Wonderful sit in a beautiful location, Emma and the boys left very good instructions regarding care of Jen, Nibbles and Bagal so that I could keep them happy, fed and clean. Jen is an independent girl who is easy to please, only coming for me for occasional attention. Jen enjoys keeping watch over the ginea pigs outside who are very happy to squeak and run around inside their hutch and run or in the playpen and eat the veggies that Emma left for them. Even though Emma was out of signal range whilst away I was happy to know that relatives lived close by. An altogether pleasant place to be. With thanks for the wine and flowers!
We enjoyed this house sit very much. The setting for us was perfect. To walk in the woods and to sit by the river, was an absolute delight. Pebbles and Minnow are lovely gentle dogs, full of character and very easy to look after. We enjoyed walking with them along the river and we especially enjoyed seeing all the wonderful tall trees, many of them of great age. One wonders about what they’ve witnessed over their time. We saw a lot of wildlife during our weeks sit including deer, a hare and red squirrel. We were very comfortable in their lovely home and definitely wouldn’t hesitate in returning if asked.
I absolutely enjoyed my time sitting for Belinda in her beautiful home and landscape. Otis and Billah are such great animals with such unique personalities. They were a breeze to look after and were great company! I would definitely sit them again. And I’d highly recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, nature and art.
