Dog Sitters in Marbletown, NY

It was so lovely meeting Ilana and Michael! They are extremely competent and organized and Chewy warmed up to them immediately - which I was shocked by because he can be very territorial and usually takes a few days to warm up to people. They listened to my suggestions on how to introduce themselves to him and they hit it off! It’s clear they are very comfortable with animals and knows how to read their cues. When Ilana was first petting Chewy, I didn’t even half to warn her when he had enough - she picked up on it right away! (Nobody ever does) They very capable managing his complex dietary needs and medication. When we returned home Chewy was in a jolly good mood and seemed very content and it didn’t even look like we had guests at all. Our home was cleaner than when we left :) They are excellent communicators and kept in touch with funny experiences, photos and general reassurances that all was going well. I highly recommend Ilana and Michael and I am already trying to wrangle them in for some time in July!

Mecah was absolutely wonderful with our cats. They were relaxed and comfortable when we returned home. No signs of stress.

Yeshwin, Shammah and their lovely family did an outstanding job of house sitting and caring for our dog Dash. I would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to ensure all was in excellent order upon our return.

Kate did a great job taking care of our pets and our home. Our pets (a large dog and a cat) were clearly happy and healthy when we returned. Everything was in good order when we got home. I would definitely hire her again.

We had Lynda and Tom looking after our cat Lentil for 3 weeks. Lentil settled right in with them and was very happy with their love and attention - which was great because he can be a bit shy. Lynda was great with communication and I knew our home and Lentil were in excellent hands. We can back to an immaculate flat and some treats in the kitchen that were much appreciated after our late arrival home. I will be contacting Lynda and Tom again when we next go away and recommend them highly.

Wendy was an absolute pleasure! I cannot recommend her enough! So sweet, caring and loving to my two chihuahuas who can be somewhat difficult. It felt like she was a family member taking care of my girls!

They were great sitters and took the time to bond with both Bodhi and Willow. They took Willow on her nightly walk and played with Bodhi. From the pics, it looks like both dogs got lots of snuggles which is what they like the most. Lovisa and Sam have a passion and love for animals, which really shone through in how they cared for the dogs. It was obvious from the dog’s reactions when I got home that they, along with the house were well cared for. I highly recommend them and would have them stay/sit for me again.

Voyo came in the day before because we had a very early departure the next morning. He settled in well, bonded quickly with our dog Suzi. We got regular update each day although we did ask once or twice because we were missing our girl! Voyo was great!

Emily was great! Taking on a hobby farm is an endeavor and she was definitely enthusiastic and up for the task. I sent procedure videos prior to her arrival and she said they were helpful since we did not have a lot of time together. Emily is very sharp and she was able to adapt to a routine without any difficulty. During my absence we chatted occasionally and I could tell she was enjoying the animals and definitely bonding with the dogs, she is a very nice and caring person. When I arrived home my home was spotless and my dogs were happy and well cared for. In the barn the chickens and goats were healthy and in their normal routine all very content. My barn was neat and clean and everything in its place. My horses were out in the pasture and everyone looked great. So nice to come home to everything as if I never left. I would have Emily back any time, I cant say enough good things about her. Thank you Emily you're the best!

Lorrie and Bill were great sitters! They took very good care of Juno and the house. They had great communication and left the place very clean and tidy. They sent us pictures of Juno and checked in to assure us all was well. We would definitely recommend them and welcome them back again!

Pat and Kathy were an amazing pair for caring for my pups while I was away. The whole process ran without problems. I received regular updates and photos. Clearly they exhibited and a high level of attention to all matters of my house and pets. Great experience for me. Thank you Pat and Kathy!!

Meagan did a great job watching our boys. She was very communicative and left the place very clean and tidy. We loved the daily pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend!

Dawn is a lovely person, and she took such loving care of our pets and our home. Our cats are very shy, and she made friends with them in short order. Her calm, gentle presence coaxed them out. She was amazing with our old doggie Atticus, and he had a wonderful time going on adventures with her. Dawn was on top of everything, it is clear to me that she is an experienced and organized homeowner herself. An example: our smart thermostat for our A/C stopped working on a hot day! She immediately contacted us and we were able to get it fixed within hours. During her stay, she communicated really well, she followed directions to the letter. Upon our arrival home, the animals were happy and the house sparkled! We recommend Dawn without hesitation. She was a balm for our animals while we were gone.

Steph watched our 2 cats and 2 dogs for 10 days and she was the best! She was very reliable and quick with communication when we texted her while gone. She took great care of our pets and we came home to healthy pets and a very clean house! She even washed her linens and vacuumed the house prior to us coming home which was a big help! We would definitely have her back anytime

Wow, Cheri was a fantastic pet sitter for my little dog, Fig. She is a wonderful person, great communicator, who deeply cares about animals and the place she is staying. My dog was so relaxed when I got home and my place was super neat and tidy. She followed all the instructions and asked really good questions. I highly recommend Cheri for your next pet/house sit!

Leslie and Jason were great! Our dog immediately felt comfortable with them when they arrived. They arrived a little early and quickly recognized that taking our dog out into the yard would make it much easier for us to pack up and leave, which was very much appreciated. They left the house in great condition and communicated well leading up to, and during the sit. We would be happy to have Leslie and Jason back anytime!

Love having repeat sitters who know my dogs & their routine. Chantel is reliable and easy to work with. Appreciate shots of the pups every other day or so.

Heather was excellent. She (and her son) took great care of Abby and Zoey. The house was immaculate upon my return. Problems were communicated well and her response was both practical and correct. I highly recommend Heather for both pet care and watching the house.

Cindy was great. I had every confidence she could handle any situation that might arise while I was away. Her communications skills are great. Better than mine. The cats seemed very comfortable with her. And she was so flexible in adding on another day for me. I hope she will consider another visit.
