Teresa is a kind and generous person with a lovely home in a peaceful, walk-able neighborhood. The two cats we're not into playing much but were easy to care for and love. Thomas the elder friendly cat liked to graze frequently and enjoyed some backyard time. He never tried to escape and came to the door when he had enough. Mocha the rescue cat was shy and hid for thee first few days. But once you gain her trust, she is very loving. Both are very mild-tempered and low maintenance cats. I was very comfortable at this sit.
Wonderful people in a wonderful house, that feels like home from the door step. Peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything you might need. Reina the cat is the funniest little character and will talk to you and make you lough daily. It was our pleasure to help out and we know we will stay in touch with Anu and Anders, we had a lovely stay.
Steve and Kirsten have a beautiful house located high on a hill in the middle of a vineyard. They welcomed us upon arrival with some locally made treats, and clear instructions were given for the care of their pets. Clyde was never seen, but something was eating his food. We assume it was him.😁 Katie was a sweetheart who stayed close at all times ready to accept any extra cookie your willing to share. Blue was great 99% of the time. She loved her walks, and was happy to lead the way. She did get a bit cranky a couple times when asked to do something she didn't want to. That being said, they were two well behaved dogs to sit for. All in all, a five star sit!
Diane and Michael were very warm and welcoming, even allowing me to stay the night after my sit so that it could line up with my next one. We had some great conversations! The house was in an ideal location in SE Portland off a popular street. Meiling and Magellan were not very snuggly with me, but they were adorably snuggly with each other. Thanks for everything, Diane and Michael!
Ditto, everything the other housesitters said! Clean house (and I'm very particular), convenient location, spectacular view from the dining room table, and the sweetest and easiest to take care of doggie ever! My dog and Deegan loved to play together on the wrap-around porch. On the way home from an early morning walk they had an adventure taking off after some critter up the mountain...Wasn't too hard to get them both back to the house safely. Then they were quite exhausted for the rest of the day!
The communication with Rebecca is smooth. The information and guide is detailed and helpful. Kitty is such an affectionate and cute girl. She loves snuggles. We fell in love with her immediately. The lock of the door is bit tricky so better ask Rebecca. Thanks for having us!
