This was the longest I had ever been away, and I was a bit nervous as Buddy is an older dog and no longer has his other half to keep him company when I'm away. Shawn was so great and eased any of my anxiety. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Buddy was well taken care of. She checked in daily with a pic or video to let me know all was well which was much appreciated. Buddy really seemed to be comfortable in her care. I returned to a happy dog and a clean home which is always nice after a long trip. I'd absolutely have Shawn for a sit again.

If I could leave a thousand stars for Pawmina, I would. Just the sweetest girl. She definitely has personality and likes to bark at squirrels or unseen things in the woods, but she's also a huge snuggle bug. I found that keeping her (and me) busy with loads of long hikes on nearby trails was key, which I totally didn't mind. We had a power out and the wifi was out one day but Ellen and Garret had properly prepared me and it was fixed in no time. They were also super welcoming and had me come the night before they left so we had plenty of time for a handover. We stayed in touch regularly on their trip and they were super helpful with any questions. The house and location are just gorgeous, trust the pictures. I have a 2WD, low car and it was totally fine, but in winter definitely best to have 4WD. Other than that, I can't recommend this sit, family, and dog enough. If you want the sweetest companion while you work or spend time in the mountains, this is it.
