I highly recommend Marianna! She checked in often and bonded nicely with my fur kids. 😊

Leslye
Best sit ever. Leslye and Walt are great people, and the house and community are wonderful to be in. Lots of friendly neighbors. Buddy is a smart and goofy dog, well behaved, and a blast to be around. An exceptional experience.

Janet
A fabulous sit in rural Carmarthenshire. We didn’t want to leave this rural retreat. Janet is a lovely host who left us our and other goodies when she left.
The house is easy to maintain and has everything a sitter needs.
And the ‘girls’, Bella & Lucy (dogs), peaches (cat) and Sonny (horse) were a joy to look after. All gentle souls who loved a cuddle and some attention.

We look forward to coming to sit again.

Sue
Before we had even arrived we were greeted on the high road, above the beautiful Windrush valley, with the unexpected and inspiring sight of the magnificent, soaring red kites, birds of prey, with their wide fan forked tails

Then we ourselves swooped down to receive the warmest of welcomes from Andrew and Sue and things just got better and better from then on.

Their house is really lovely, comfortable, easy and relaxed - we felt at home immediately especially in the expansive kitchen where we spent most of our time with its long dining table, excellent aga style cooker, all the mod cons and view of the equally lovely garden through the huge windows.

Sue had already sent us a comprehensive welcome pack telling us where everything was and how everything worked so there was little to discuss or disturb our getting to know one another.

And then we were greeted by the dogs. And what a greeting it was! Freddie a bursting bundle of ebullient joy and Sachin an affectionate amblin’ bear straight out of the hundred acre wood.

We knew we had arrived in a better world!

Within the welcome pack Sue had provided there was a map showing the local walks. We took Freddie and Sachin on most of them and found they were all wonderful and very different from each other
One took us along the river then up the hill to a view over the glistening valley and across to Asthall - a classic Cotswold panorama. Another lead us through the Church yard in the very attractive village of Swinbrook, on to the ancient chapel of St Oswalds in the middle of a field and up through a little valley between two long woods.

A third, our favourite, was along the Windrush towards Burford. Our favourite because it was Freddie’s favourite too. Here we could give him free rein knowing he always returned to the whistle and so watch with delight as he raced and splashed through the flooded fields. In the meantime Sachin would remain closer by adventuring along the bank of the clean, clear river.

It was great to know that when we returned we could leave the back door open for Freddie and Sachin because the large garden was thoroughly dog secure.

Once they had had their walks, both dogs were quite happy on their own in the house for a few hours which gave us plenty of time to visit the pretty villages and towns in the area as well as the pubs - of which there are a great many, varied and welcoming.

It turned out our favourite pub was the Maytime, closest one to the house, down in the valley in Asthall

As the time for our departure drew near, we found it was very easy indeed to leave the house clean and tidy for Sue and Andrew’s return when they were greeted by what I can only describe as an atomic explosion of joy from Freddie and whirlwind of tail wagging from Sachin.

Thus it was, with just one downside, we had the most wonderful time on our - and Sue and Andrew’s - very first trustedhousesitting experience.

The downside?

We now really miss Freddie and Sachin!
So it was with great relief we received Sue’s invitation to come and visit them whenever we are in the area.

If the sitting was rated by stars – there are not enough in the sky!

An absolutely beautiful dog is Honey and such a lovely person is Elisa. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Honey who is the most sweet natured and easy going dog. We hope to keep in touch!

I had a lovely time in Geneva with Bärli and Waffles. Cassandra and Ian were very welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. The communication was super easy and clear.
Collex-Bossy is a quick bus ride from downtown Geneve so the perfect location. Bärli and Waffles were the sweetest pups and I fell in love with them right away. They are super well behaved, easy to take care of and are up for cuddles all the time.
I‘m grateful Cassandra and Ian invited me to their home and I‘d definitely come back if I have the chance. :)

We really enjoyed our sit in Bristol looking after Gunther and Fennel. The house is centrally located so easy access to the city centre by public transport and we had great communication with Charlotte throughout. We would be happy to sit again in the future.
