We had the most terrific time looking after Mario at Sarah and Jays apartment. The apartment itself is super comfortable and has a big tv for all your entertainment needs and is located in a special part of the world, with lots of cool cafes, grocery stores and access to public transport. Mario the cat is such a lovely little guy, he is playful and cheeky, always happy to see you. If you’re lucky, and he loves you, he might just ‘knead biscuits’ on your arm. Sarah was a great communicator and we kept the WhatsApp flowing with messages and pictures of Mario while they were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to housesit for Sarah and Jay in the future!
We had a wonderful stay at Ruud and Christine. Felt really welcome with a delicious diner :) The house is very lovely, beautiful garden and a beautiful view. We loved Ginger the cat so much!! What a sweetheart :)
What an AMAZING sit!! A house full of pets usually means a lot of "work" (which we are completely fine with). But Julie-Eve made things too easy for us. She had her cleaner come in just before our arrival, so home was spotless and super tidy. Much appreciated! And as far as that house full of pets go.... reality was 99% of our responsibility was put towards our BIG beautiful boy Eliott. OMG!! A GIANT gentle teddy bear. And by "responsibility", I mean a few super easy short walks per day (he's elderly) and playtime whenever he wished. And then he was out cold for hours. So too EASY. Moosy (the cat) was an all time favourite of ours. Have NEVER met a cat like Moosy. Super lovable and friendly with a very unique physical trait (14 total claws on giant front paws). We absolutely feel in love with him. Other than feeding the little fella, nothing more to do than cuddle him. Then there was Covoo (the hedgehog), Talker (the turtle) and the fish. All of these critters needed minimal maintenance, although we interacted with them all daily (as good pet sitters should do:). On top of a lovely home and pets, the Montreal neighbourhood of Rosemont was perfect! Friendly, clean and easy access (walking or by bike) to everything. Can't imagine a better location. I had a wonderful time with Niamh! She is a very affectionate, clever and happy dog. We had some very nice walks in the area along the seaside and to her favorite dog-friendly coffee place :) In the evenings, she cuddled up on my lap, or next to me on the sofa and we also had some fun play time in the backyard. Greystones is a beautiful town with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants to discover and Louise and Oscar are warm and welcoming people! The whole sit was very well organized and their house is so nice and cozy. I highly recommend this sit!!
Very friendly and welcoming hosts , however forgot to add me to the car insurance as pre arranged prior to the sit. Also never said thank you for picking up from airport on return despite 5am flight.
We really enjoyed our house sit and looking after Arola and Pink Pterodactyl. They are lovely and playful cats who enjoy human company. They would snuggle with us on the sofa or following us around the house. Communication with Chris was fluent and he was checking on us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The house is in great location to Richmond Park and had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend to anyone and stayed again.
