Pet Sitters in Marco Island, FL

Saundra and Andres were wonderful pet sitters to our two dogs. I could tell as soon as I picked them up at the airport that they were going to be a good fit because Saundra had downloaded pictures of our dogs to her phone! As soon as they arrived, the dogs immediately took to them and they treated the dogs like they had known them forever. Saundra came well prepared with questions from our Pet Sitters Guide and Andres asked about caring for our home as well as the dogs. While we were gone for two weeks, Saundra and Andres took our dogs boating and island hopping nearly every day, sometime twice a day! I know our dogs were loved, spoiled, and well-treated. We came home to a clean home, fresh flowers, a thank you card, doggie treats, the lawn mown, and a clean boat and car. We're so grateful for sitters like Saundra and Andres who deliver on their promise to treat our home and our pets as if they were their own. I would love for them to come back another time! Alice and Doug stayed with our active dogs for a week, and it could not have been a better experience! They gave my young dogs lots of exercise and i could tell they also loved on them! They were excellent communicators too. I could enjoy my daughter’s wedding without a single concern! The house was perfectly clean when i came home too :-)!

Lennie and Richard are wonderful house/pet sitters.. They are genuinely friendly and competent. My wife and I enjoyed getting to meet and share time with them. They took great care of Finley, our pet Scottie, during the week we were on vacation. The house was immaculate when we returned. We view them as new friends and hope our paths cross in the future.

Robert and Rosa <3 They are lovely people. Discreet, reliable, kind and took great care of my home and my birds. Everything in the house was clean and they left us food in the refrigerator and we loved it because it was delicious. They are well-traveled and experienced, they like animals and enjoying life. We eat pizza and talk about our travel stories and they have exactly our vibe. Thank you guys for taking care of everything perfect. We recommend 100%

LaDonna was a wonderful sitter and took excellent care of our dog Luna. She sent frequent updates and left our place spotless. We'd love to have her back anytime!

Diane is a catlover and took good care of our 2 cats while we were away for a week. She has lots of experience caring for cats, including giving medication. Our house was also very clean when we returned and the cats were content so overall we were happy. The only negative was lack of experience with Skype or FaceTime so we were not able to meet prior to the housesit, but she is very capable and am sure she can learn it for future sits if needed.

Jamie did an out standing job with our two little fur babies! She loved on them a lot and took the time to really get to know them over the 7 days of being with them. She provided very thorough and detailed updates each day which really put our minds at ease. I could tell by her descriptions that she really grew to know and understand our doggies and all their little habits and funny behaviors. She sent great photos of them as well. She took them on daily walks and had fun giving them lots of endearing nicknames. Jamie did bring her cat, Co-Co with her, as they come as a package deal, but Co-Co was very well behaved and didn’t bother the dogs at all. One of them even snuggled with Co-Co. So as long as you know that and don’t mind, it’s all good as Jamie is a wonderful sitter! She is also kind and considerate and we appreciated having her. When it came time to say goodbye, our little puppy was sad and cried at the door, and also watched her out the window as she drove away. Thank you so much Jamie! We will all miss you!!

We keep asking them back! We are so happy they are available to take care of our parrots and home. It's a great fit! Birds love them and our home is spotless. Thank you Rubert and Daniela for an amazing job!

I felt peace of mind that my cat and dog were in great hands; I am so grateful and was able to really enjoy my time away.

David and I clicked on the Zoom interview, but it was not a great fit, ultimately. The pets are fine, so the most important thing is that. And the house is fine. I guess I've been spoiled by great sitters who left our house impeccably clean and communicated daily with pictures and information that clearly indicated they knew our pets well and were taking really good care of them and our house. This seems to be the zeewoi standard. But I had to contact David every time I wanted information. He never contacted us once, although he did respond within the hour when I contacted him. But not a picture. Nothing. He even jokingly complained that our cat wasn't being warm enough to him and he considered himself a cat whisperer and was a little peeved. I laughed along and shrugged it off because he was such a nice guy. But I think he found my detailed instructions too informative? Over the 25 years I've had pet sitters some have joked about my very thorough instructions, but everyone, until David, told me they very much appreciated too much information rather than not enough. It doesn't appear he paid them much attention. He didn't recycle. He didn't take in our mail, several days worth was left sitting in our mailbox, which he explained was because we hadn't explicitly asked him to bring it in. The same was true about sending pics of the animals or communication. If I'd asked he would have, but I didn't, so he didn't. The same went for a package that was delivered the day we came home. It arrived at noon, 5 hours before he left our house, but he just left it outside. He said he figured it "would be fine" out there until we got home. He also left earlier than we'd agreed to over text. It's clear if you read the instructions what time the dogs eat dinner and I told him to please stay until dinner, walk them as instructed and then feed them before he left. He left an hour and a half earlier than that to meet friends at the beach. He also didn't follow the instructions for feeding one of our cats, about not leaving her food out because the dogs would eat it before she got a chance to. He did this at least twice that I know of. There was a coating of sand in the shower. The bed was made-ish. He didn't bother with the wash cloth on the bathroom counter I asked him to use to wipe it down so the poured cement doesn't stain. It was untouched, perfectly folded and the post-it note was still stuck to it . The floor was not swept, lots of fur tumbleweeds, although I'd left the vacuum out. And when I challenged him his response was that, "he was not a professional." Except that this site is based on a pay-based membership and at least I expect professional behavior from the sitters who I entrust with my pets and my house. He was taken aback by my texts challenging him when we got home and had discovered all the above. He said he's received nothing but good reviews before and I have no reason not to believe him. He also said he "probably won't use the app again." He said he was "feeling a little attacked" by my observations, even explaining that he'd been asked back by other sitters, and one even paid him some $, though he hadn't asked for it and never would. I've never ever had anything but great relationships with the sitters I've had in my home, through this site or before over the years. Some were long-term sitters for over a decade. I liked David very much as a person over the phone. I have to say we were not a good match once I came home and saw the lack of attention to our instructions, and that he hadn't cleaned up after himself thoroughly before leaving. Not all fits are good ones. This one wasn't for me., though I wish David the best, as he did me.

This was our first time using zeewoi and we got lucky with Carolina! She worked with us, talked through any issues or miscommunications and was overall a great sitter. She took amazing care of our dog and we would definitely love to see her return in the future.

Stephanie was terrific✅ She immediately connected w our kitties. Easygoing, caring & the nicest person. Responsible & reliable, positive & outgoing. We communicated while away.
