Trudy came with her husband Jake to sit for my domestic long-haired formerly feral cat, Bella. Trudy immediately made friends with Bella, and she looked better when I came home than she did when I left. But beyond that, Trudy And Jake faced a very difficult situation that week here in northern California, where atmospheric rains were threatening, flood, and ultimately caused leaks from skylight and solar panels in the roof. They were totally on board with the situation they were facing as I told them before they drove down. They were undaunted. Their most frequent response, “We’ll deal with it”. I am quite indebted to this gracious, kind, talented couple. They were able to work with my handyman and professionals, so that protection was provided. And they did what they needed to inside the house, so that no damage resulted. They were also in frequent communication with me, which I truly appreciated, pictures and, all for documenting what was going on. They accommodated my schedule, and made sure everything looked wonderful when I returned home. And, I’m so glad that they still enjoyed hikes and exploration in this special part of Sonoma County. I will always be grateful that I was able to have Trudy (and Jake) from zeewoi for my January, 2023 house sit.
