We had the pleasure of house sitting for Dave and Camilla for just under 3 weeks. Their house is so cosy and had everything we needed including an amazing pool, we really felt at home! There are shops nearby and a train station within walking distance. Dave and Camilla have been nothing but kind to us both during and after our stay. They were incredibly accommodating and were always there if we needed anything, we feel very grateful for all the help they have given us! Their gorgeous dogs Oliver and Phoenix are the sweetest and so loving, we had such an amazing time looking after them. Both are more than happy to just snuggle with you on the sofa and we really enjoyed all the cuddles! We are missing them very much! Anyone who is fortunate to house sit for this lovely couple are very lucky, we would do it again in a heartbeat!
I had the best time at Carmen and Yen's lovely home, hanging out with the precious kitties Nermal and Groot. I was constantly entertained by Groot with his high energy Tigger antics bouncing around and his awesome lengthy stints on his running wheel and Nermal's talented parkour abilities as well as being the huggiest snuggliest loviest kitty so cuddles, pats and lap warming were in abundance. They are both inquisitive and love to play so it was fun inventing games and hiding toys and watching them discover them! Playing wipe the kitchen counter while Nermal tries to catch my hand was another fun game that kept Nermal and I entertained for ages. The boys have a very impressive setup indoors and also a catio patio which keeps them entertained and engaged while I had to go off and do boring human things! Carmen and Yen are lovely welcoming hosts and their home is very well appointed and comfortable. The gym was great to do a quick yoga sesh in and then a very long sesh in the massage chair afterwards was divine!!! I enjoyed chatting with and meeting Carmen and Yen at handover and via our emails and communication was awesome and everything slot into place for a seamless fantastic 10 day sit. Suoermarket and shops were very close and Blackburn is a very nice suburb Ive not spent time in before now but was nice to become familiar with and I really enjoyed the Blackburn Lake Sanctuary. I would be absolutely delighted to return and spend time Nermal and Groot again!
I had such a fun time sitting for Camu at Sadie and JP’s home! Right from our first conversation, Sadie and JP are warm and inviting and very easy to communicate with. Their home is an absolute dream- it’s peaceful, bright, clean and the yard is stunning. Camu is such a good boy— equally independent and loving with the fluffiest coat and the best meow! He is beyond easy to care for and playing with him and giving him brushes was such a treat. Thank you, Sadie and JP, for a truly wonderful sit 😻
I had a great time sitting in Steph and Lindsey’s beautiful home. Juni and Rio are the sweetest dogs! Juni loved snuggles and is just the most laid back, well behaved girl. Rio was full of energy and fun and such a big goofball. They are clearly well loved and trained, which made sitting them a great experience! The location is perfect, walking distance to Gibsons but also close to nature. I was sad to say goodbye to the pups! Highly recommended!
Maddy's kitties Alfie and Kevin were such sweethearts to care for. They are both little snugglers and I was honestly sad to leave. Maddy's house and street are very quiet, as well as ideally located close to the downtown Asheville area. I really enjoyed my time and hope to come back again one day. Thanks again Maddy!
