She was very attentive to the dogs. She was enthusiastic and very competent. She cleaned the house and washed by bedding for when I came home which was a real treat! Only thing that could be improved would be to be more communicative on text to give updates.

It was a pleasure to meet Michael and Emma over supper and as a first time user of TH, very reassuring that our whippets and home were in safe hands. Our home was left spotlessly clean and the whippets were relaxed though thankfully overjoyed to see us!!!! I can highly recommend Michael and Emma who rose to the challenge of our off grid home in the mountains. Thank you guys.

Bridget is a calm and charming lady who was an instant hit with our two cats. She is naturally gentle and caring and they sensed this immediately. She was also lovely with our lone,elderly chicken and made the effort to be with her every day she was here. She listened carefully to all my instructions and read everything thoroughly, checking with us if there was anything she didn’t know or understand. She is responsible and practical with a pragmatic and efficient approach to every aspect of the situation. I had no concerns whilst away as I knew the cats and chicken were in very good hands. We kept in touch and were pleased to see the pictures Bridget sent. She is also extremely flexible and adaptable, we had to ask her to help us with some information we had left at home and she was very happy to help. She watered the pot vegetables and we came home to a clean house and happy animals who had clearly enjoyed their time with her. It was a pleasure to meet you Bridget, thank you, I do hope you can come again I know the cats and chicken would be delighted! If Bridget applies for your sit don’t delay confirmation she is too good to miss!

Camilla and Tom took the utmost care of our home, our plants and our cat Boris and it was a pleasure to return home after our holiday to a vase of flowers and thoughtful card. Their communication prior and during the sit was top notch and we they sent photos of Boris on a couple of occasions which was just the right amount! I would highly recommend Camilla and Tom as house sitters and great people!!!!

Tina stayed alone to sit with Penny (the cat), she did a great job of giving Penny her medication. I appreciate that as I only recently moved house some house renovations are still underway and therefore a complete house sit pack was difficult to provide as the kitchen had only been fitted days before things are still finding a place in the house. I was nervous that Penny was still anxious in a new home but Tina ensured she was medicated and fed and updated me each day which reassured me.

Ed and family stayed in our home to look after our dog (Pickle) and two guinea pigs. We were away for a month so it was quite a long sit, but Ed was great. The family settled in with Pickle and the guinea pigs very well and we felt confident that they were being well cared for. We had updates and photos regularly so communication was good and we didn’t have any concerns or issues at all. Once we were home Pickle even tried to follow them out the gate to go with them! They’re a really lovely family with great experience as house sitters and I’d definitely recommend them.

Holly and Rod and their lovely family were the most amazing sitters for our three dogs (who also became great friends with their gentlest pooch Bosch.)Their sitting turned out to be an ideal arrangement for our dogs (who are used to a family environment and love people and other dogs.)The family ate all great, positive people to have around: thoughtful, calm, positive, caring and fun. Our home was left by then in tip top condition, spotless and tidy. Many thanks indeed for a perfect house sitting experience.

Rob and Alicia were a delight to have look after our house and cats. We were still undergoing renovations, but this didn't phase them. They kept us regularly updated. Would highly recommend.

Mathilda, for her age has extraordinary breathful experience across several continents. She has the skills to adapt to problems arising and is highly motivated and intelligent, and is able to solve problems. She was very personable and friendly, and we felt that we really bonded with her, and certainly trusted her judgment and decisions while we were away. In our case, we needed quite a lot of care of plants and mushrooms, and this she took in her stride and understood the issues involved , we would highly recommend her to other hosts.

We were so very lucky that Martin was our sitter looking after our Labrador Bryn. I had made a mistake over the start date of the sit but thanks to Martin's flexibility our holiday began on time. He kept us up to date with Bryn's walks and his health and with the arrival of a parcel and an unscheduled utility visit. He handled everything with calm and sensible decisiveness. We returned to a Labrador in excellent health who had had the most wonderful walks and was a very happy boy. Our house was clean and tidy. We should very much like Martin to come again - I think Bryn would too!

Kathy and Ian were brilliant housesitters-happy to have a video call before hand and asked some great questions when they received our guide which showed they’d really read it. They kindly sent a few update texts while we were away. The house was spotless when we got back and the pets all well cared for-would definitely recommend them. And they also left us a couple of Ian’s beautiful handmade coffee cups!

As Carole noted, she and Alan had sat for Izzie previously. They were easy to make arrangements with for the dates we needed (they even changed their plans in order to take care of Izzie and the house). They were also good in giving us a daily update on Izzie with the occasional photo. We arrived home to a welcoming cat and a very clean and tidy home. We are more than happy to recommend Carole and Alan to others.
