We enjoyed our time at Steven’s home and his sweet dogs. The location is perfect for anyone without a car, as everything is within walking distance, including a lovely social club. I’d give them a five, but the dogs don’t always adhere to the rule of doing their business outdoors—definitely manageable, though. We were made so welcome and communication was perfect.
Darlene and Martin are lovely. The house is beautiful and I had my own private suite. The dock made launching my stand-up paddleboard (SUP) so simple, I could be out on the water any time the urge hit me. Cooper is an absolute delight. He's playful but also happy to chill in front of the fire while you read a book. Expect people to ask to pet him if you take him out in public; he's so gorgeous and great with strangers. I hope I get the chance to house-sit for them again. I felt renewed at the end of my time.
I had a pleasant time during my sit with Scout and the rest of the crew🦮🐥🦙 The property had beautiful views and was close enough to the nearby towns and attractions. The chickens and alpacas were easy to cater for and Scout was great company. Scout definitely liked to follow me everywhere I went, but was happy to relax by my feet when indoors. Trish ran me through the animal’s routine and feeding schedule and kept in touch during the sit when I had any questions.
It was a pleasure looking after Rigatoni and Risotto! They are such cute and curious little fellas. Maiti was lovely and communication was good before during and after. Everything was as it should be with the flat and it was so nice to have some sun and garden. Was great to be in Tooting and was easy to get anywhere central. Ideal for anyone exploring. London. Would happily come back!
I had a wonderful experience sitting sweet Desmond in Prague at Rena's place. From the start, Rena was communicative and gracious, welcoming me into her home with soup. Her place is spacious and comfortable. I loved the neighborhood - quiet, close to many cafes and restaurants (I highly recommend the restaurant right next door to her building and also Kavarna Slagr for afternoon cake!), right next to a hip neighborhood of Vinohrady with Rigovy Sady park overlooking the castle (beautiful sunsets!) nearby which you can find another delicious Czech restaurant called Parliament Vinohrady (make sure to visit the beautiful church next to it afterwards!). Right around the corner from Rena's building, tram 22 will take you to all the major sights within Prague. The central train station with connections across Prague as well as Budapest and Munich is easily accessible by bus 135 (or, you can walk through / alongside Rigovy Sady to get to it). If you don't feel like venturing out far, just have lunch at Restauracya Kamin (2 min walk from Rena's place), followed by a walk through Grebovka Park, admiring the vineyards and city views, and maybe a movie at a local kino or a drink at the corner bar. As for Desmond, he is one of the friendliest cats I've ever met, and highly intelligent too. He knew I was leaving on the night before and seemed sad about it, then slept with me the whole night. Desmond is happy, healthy, and has a great appetite. He will love it if you keep him company, pet him a lot and kiss his head and face. Have fun keeping this sweet, affectionate boy company. We've for 2 week in Seona's house, taking care of Flo and Zibah. Seona was really kind to us, helping us and letting us stay a little longer till the day of our departure. She was an amazing host. About Flo and Zibah, we just have one thing to say, we are missing them 🥰❤ They are really cute and adorable angels. Flo always responded well to all commands which made walking with her really easy and enjoyable. She loves to play with the ball and being around 🥰 We are missing them and we would love to see everybody again, maybe in the future 🥰
