We had a lovely time looking after Kootenai! Pam made us feel really welcome in her beautiful home, which has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, lovely kitchen and garden - and of course Kootenai, who is a sweet dog. She loves a good run at the beach or out on trails, and was really well-behaved in our car.
Ralph is a sweet curious guy, hanging out with him was a great time. Lola and Charlie were communicative and available for any questions during our stay. Would definitely recommend!
This was such a wonderful sit! Megan was extremely organized and communicated so efficiently both before, during, and after my sit. She lives in a wonderful location - just a few blocks to the park, town, restaurants, and a short drive to the beach! I instantly connected to and fell in love with her sweet dog, Barli and had so much fun hanging out with her throughout my sit! She is truly one of my favorite dogs I've been able to watch and spend time with... I miss her already! Thank you again for everything, Megan!
Located just 40 minutes north of Seattle, our six-week house sitting experience in Edmonds, Washington, was nothing short of idyllic. From our initial Zoom meeting with homeowners David and Michael to the warm welcome and thorough tour of their immaculate home upon arrival, every interaction was marked by genuine hospitality. Our primary responsibility was caring for the Princess – Zoe, their highly intelligent and expressive terrier, which included two daily walks amidst the picturesque surroundings. The house itself was a haven of tranquility, with every corner impeccably clean and thoughtfully organized. Thanks to the hosts' clear communication and flexible approach, our stay was devoid of any unexpected challenges, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serene ambiance. The supportive neighbors proved invaluable, stepping in to care for Zoe when we ventured to nearby attractions such as Olympic National Park. Back at the house, amenities like the relaxing hot tub and well-equipped kitchen added to the overall comfort and convenience. We felt truly at home during our stay. From the welcoming hosts to the natural beauty of the area, every element combined to create a truly unforgettable experience. We look forward to the opportunity to house sit for David and Michael again in the future.
Lisa and Nic were wonderful hosts. Easy to communicate with and very helpful. Nacho was a total delight, really friendly girl almost immediately. A really nice mix of independent and cuddly.
We had a wonderful time at Kiran and Tom’s home looking after Marly and Luna. Marly and Luna are both lovely gentle souls but do take a bit of time to get comfortable with you, as was explained to us and expected because they are rescue cats. Their home is spacious and characterful with a broad palette reflective of the work they do. Kiran was very considerate and communicative throughout and by the end it felt as though we were friends. We unfortunately missed out on meeting them but hope to on another occasion. We would recommend this housesit to others as well!
