Georgia
We had a great time house sitting for Georgia. Swick is a very cute guy who loves cuddling and playing, we had lots of cozy and fun times. He is a such a small little guy with such a big personality, very charming :) Georgia is very friendly and gave us detailed instructions. She was clear about Swick's personality and needs, which made it easy to take care of him. Her beautiful townhouse was spotless when we arrived and it was very easy to communicate with Georgia during the sit. We highly recommend sitting for Georgia and taking care of Swick.

Lyndi
This is my first extended sit and any reservations that I had about extended sits, wasn’t applicable to Lyndi and Jordan, as they are great communicators, engaged and supportive pet parents, provided detailed instructions for caring for their pets and home, maintain an easily cleaned and organized home, and have created a very comfortable and loving environment for their babies, Becks and Lulu.

Lyndi and Jordan are sincerely one of the best hosts I’ve encountered on THS!

Prior to the sit, they communicated very well about changes to the sit dates and when I arrived a few days before Lyndi departed, she used the time to walk me through some of her provided instructions on caring for her fur babies and home. She also taught my son, how to refill the bird feeders, which he enjoyed helping me with during the sit. She also introduced me to her neighbors and set some group chats with the pup’s groomers and breeders. She also left behind tons of food and toiletries for us. Throughout the sit I felt very supported and welcomed.

Their babies, Becks and Lulu are so adorable and easy to care for. Becks is a typical 1st pet (easy going and calm), while Lulu is a typical 2nd pet (high-energy and mischievous). Becks showed some signs of having some separation anxiety during the early weeks of the sit, then over time warmed up to us. He loves barking at all the dogs in the neighborhood, eating carrots, going on car rides, and splitting his time between being alone in his custom kennel (more like a pet nook) and sitting on your lamp, receiving nonstop affection. Lulu is a puppy, so she’s still learning and exploring the world. She and my son are very similar, as they both love picking up random things on our walks, fighting over toys, and being the center of attention. The pups can be left alone for extended periods, as they have a doggy door and kennel that connects to it. Both pups receive professional grooming and Becks did have 2 breeding trips with local breeders, which is all arranged from the home, so I only needed to have the pups ready for pickup. They both are so adorable and have their own distinct personality, that pairs well.

Clarksville is a military town and about 1 hr. drive from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Lyndi and Jordan’s neighborhood is very safe (often walked the pups at night without any safety concerns) and filled with friendly neighbors (especially their next door neighbor, Susana, who informed me of some local activities for Easter). It’s not walkable, so a car is recommended. There’s several restaurants and shopping all less than a 10 min. drive away. There’s tons of child-friendly activities in both Clarksville and Nashville. My son really love packing a lunch and heading to The Parthenon, which has a small art museum with children’s park across the street.

Lyndi and Jordan’s home was very clean and uncluttered upon arrival, which made it very easy to maintain. It’s also well equipped for cooking any meal. They have a lovely home office with a second monitor and high speed internet, so I had no issues working from home. They also have a home gym, with tons of equipment for lifting. We spent most of our free time in their large guest room, which has a massive TV, comfy sectional, and most streaming services. Many night we all lounged on the sectional in our favorite spots and watched a movie.

This was a wonderful all around sit! Would definitely recommend!

Luke
We spent a really nice week in Luke and Georgie's apartment with ZipZip. Little Zippy is sweet as can be, and very quiet. She didn't demand much from us, but quietly enjoyed the attention we imposed on her. Though she is hesitant to go out and can be a bit nervous, she walks very well on the leash. We loved seeing her little ears bouncing along beside us. The apartment is in a residential area with canals and beautiful parks nearby, and easy access to everything we wanted to see while in Amsterdam. Communication with Luke was great before and throughout the sit.
