We arrived at Lois and Lorenzo's at Chrismas Eve and they were so nice and welcoming to have us for dinner with them and their adorable 3 kids (they even gave us Christmas gifts!). Their apartment was clean, modern and with a great view of the mountains. Ropraz is small but very characteristic, with very nice walks and bike trails around. They even let us borrow their skis and bikes. The skiing tracks and major cities like Lousanne, Bern and Geneve are very close. The pets are very cute and easy to sit. The dog Roxy became immediately very attached (she's very cuddly and playful) and accompanied us everywhere. Overall it was an great experience in a beautiful place with an amazing host family.
We are so pleased we accepted this last minute sit, the location and house were superb! Meeting Taz on the day of the sit he stayed with us for a few hours introducing us to the cats & giving us all the information required to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings etc. Tabasco adjusted to us almost instantly whereas Sushii took a little longer, however within 24 hours they were both brushing past our legs, sitting beside us and playing with their toys! They are adorable & easy to look after! Local shops & takeaways are within 1km of the house with bus stops 2mins away, less than 30mins into the heart of the city! This gave us the ideal opportunity to explore Adelaide, the beaches & surrounding areas. On there return Taz & Georgie were so grateful & we had a nice chat & debrief! This sit was perfect in every way we would not hesitate to recommend looking after Tabasco & Sushii! Thank you guys ❤️
Michael and Wendy were very welcoming and had me arrive the day before their trip started. The gardens are beautiful and the house comfy. Great TV channels. Dog Rex and cat Gus have to be kept apart if Rex isn’t at the daughter’s apt. Both are sweet but Rex was a lot of fun. Hilly area for dog walks so you get good exercise. Markets/restaurants a bit of a walk but an easy drive away.
We had a great time looking after Lucy. From the first moment he was relaxed with having us around, and came for cuddles. It was nice to meet Angie before she left, so we could have the hand over in person, but she also left us clear written notes. She has been very helpful and friendly, and was great in communication both before and during the housesit. The appartement is very comfy and in a nice area with lots of restaurants and cafes, and a bus to take you into town nearby.
I had a wonderful time at Tempes and John's house in Roundwood with Paddy and Freddy. 🐶 The dogs are very easygoing, charming and playful dogs, get along well with other dogs and want some cuddles from time to time. 🙂 The garden is big, providing lots of room for play, running around, or chasing rabbits. I would have loved staying longer and spending more time with these two buddies.💕 Tempes and John are thoughtful hosts, welcoming me with dinner when I arrived and provided a detailed manual for the house and pets. We shared some good talks about travelling and the world. The place was tidy and comfortable, and John was so kind to pick me up from and drop me off at the train station. 😊 Thanks again for your kindness! Wish you all the best, Christin
We had a terrific time with Pico, Gallo and Stache. We met Jeananne, Dustin and their lovely daughter as they were leaving on their holiday weekend trip, and that definitely helped make sure we knew the ropes (especially where the kitties hid in the yard for their afternoon naps!). Pico and Gallo are the best kitties and Stache is, well, a person in a doodle suit. His eyes say it all. Their home is comfy . . . as is the bed and be prepared for sweet Stache to want to share it with you!
