This was an absolutely lovely sit. Alex and Dory were wonderful hosts. They were very hospitable, picking me up and dropping me off at the train station, and even letting me stay an extra night to better coordinate with my next destination. They made me feel very comfortable, welcome, and valued. Lucky is a very independent, but also very loving cat once you've earned his trust. Don't be alarmed if he disappears for a bit in the beginning, and just keep putting out his food and milk as the hosts request, and he'll come to trust you and eventually come hang on your lap or visit you in the bedroom. (He thinks he's a guard cat; it's quite cute). The fish are incredibly straightforward; the hosts generally just require feeding. The house is very homey. It's clearly lived in by a lively family of four. A bit cluttered, but not off-putting. It's tidy and feels like a place you can be really comfortable in. The guest room is in the attic, so just be aware that it can get a bit hot in the summer, but the windows provide good airflow. Overall, it was an easy, comfortable sit, and the neighborhood is just delightful.
