This is an absolutely wonderful sit in a gorgeous home with three of the sweetest animals! Otis is a loving, relaxed dog who enjoys playing in the backyard and resting on the floor next to you. Stanley and Rori are funny, sweet cats, with a great temperament. The hosts are lovely and kind - they left the house very clean for us and provided a complementary bottle of wine. Highly recommend!
We loved our 3 weeks with Mika and Gigia in Corralejo -- we were really spoilt by Barbara and Margherita. They picked us up from the centre of town, made us lunch, and went through all the instructions to take care of the little ones as well as the house and the plants. Plus they generously left us their bikes and car to get around which was hugely appreciated. Since we were already in Tenerife, it was easy enough for us to go back and forth. Mika is a sweetheart, loves running on the beach, cooling off in the sea, and sometimes playing with her toys in the backyard as well as curling up on the sofa or bed with you. She may occasionally bark at dogs she doesn't know, but all the neighbours know her and say hello. Gigia is fairly independent and likes to roam around and explore, or sunbathe in the backyard, but also enjoys just hanging out wherever you are and will come up to you when she wants to snuggle. They are both well-behaved and very sweet. The flat is modern with everything you could need plus an amazing backyard to relax in. We can't speak highly enough of Barbara and Margherita, who trusted us to take care of their home and pets, and highly recommend this housesit.
I had a lovely time at Laura's looking after Bradley! :) Bradley is a very sweet cat, he loves getting brushed and although he doesn't love sitting on a lap, he enjoys having company and he was often purring sitting next to me. :) Laura was a very welcoming host, we didn't get to meet in person but it was always easy to communicate with her and I felt very welcomed by her. The house is beautiful and I felt totally at home there! I loved all the colours in the house, it felt so warm and cosy. It was very warm even in the middle of the winter, and the shower and bath were great too. :) The location is quite perfect too, close to lots of green spaces, but still a short bus ride from the nearest tube station, which will take you to central London in about 20 minutes.
Wow! We cannot say enough about how great this pet sit was. The pets are really special and we’re not just saying that! Java ( the little dog) is so intelligent and so loving. He loves to cuddle and understands everything. The two cats are both unusually affectionate for cats and both love to be petted and cuddle as well. They are also particularly beautiful cats. The town house was amazing as well. It’s located in an ideal location, very close to the 95, not far from the beach and within walking distance of target, Whole Foods and several restaurants. It was extremely clean ( spotless) and the pets were all very clean too. The bed was also very comfortable. We felt completely relaxed there. Shari and Skyellen were truly so nice to deal with. They left us great instructions and were easy to communicate with even though they were on a cruise. Overall, if you love animals and want to stay in a very nice and clean place, you should jump at the chance to do this sit!
Jaimie was very clear with instructions. The house was lovely as was Rukus and Lalou. We had a great visit. The west side of Bend is our new favorite!
