Carol and Mark came to take care of our poodle and two parrots. They arrived early enough so that all of us could have a nice meet and greet. Both were highly attentive to the pets' needs and perfectly willing to spend time with them. Parrots aren't the easy animals to deal with sometimes, but Mark and Carol seemed happy to try and converse and interact with them. We felt confident leaving them in their care. Mossy took no time to warm up to them. The good feelings were there from the start. She got lots of walks in the woods and playtime and by the second night she was sleeping with them on the end of the bed. Luckily (I think ) that was okay with them. There was an unfortunate unexpected incident involving pipes and leaks and plumbing expertise. Mark gallantly rose to the occasion and was able to take care of things, allowing us to continue with our vacation. We are are beyond grateful that this reliable and self sufficient couple were there and willing to take on more than they had bargained for. The house was left so tidy and nice. Literally nothing was out of place. I hope they will be willing to sit for us again sometime in the future. Rave reviews!
