Leaving our two cats and young dog under Gia’s care for 2 weeks proved to be the right decision. Gia’s kindness, warmth and dedication stood out, and she maintained an open communication throughout the entire time. Our dog Koko is young and very active. Gia had the patience to face the task without any complaints. One day he chewed on something concerning and Gia alerted us right away respecting our decision on next steps but also showing a proactive approach offering suggestions. She was willing to take him to the Vet, but thankfully it was not necessary. Gia showed that she genuinely cared! She kept us updated on progress and even cooked for him and keep him in a blend diet as directed by the vet. There was a sudden issue with the power outage and with open communication we were able to resolve the issue smoothly. She even assisted us with technical needs for remote work post-outage, all handled with grace and without any complaints. She respectfully provided suggestions on care routines that resonated with us and we gladly accepted her feedback as it was shared without judgement. She gained our trust immediately. She demonstrated her knowledge about pets’ care, has great intuition and seems to be able to connect with animals at a deeper level. Upon our return, we discovered a meticulously cleaned and organized home. Gia had ensured everything was in its rightful place, even washing all the linens she utilized. Our space was left just as we had left it, showcasing her attention to detail and respect for our environment. We made every effort to ensure Gia felt welcomed and had all she required during her stay. We sincerely hope we met her comfort needs. In gratitude, she extended exemplary care to our pets. As we bid her farewell, all three animals watched her depart from the window, hinting at the bond formed. Undoubtedly, they'll cherish and remember her warmth. We would welcome Gia back into our home again and recommend her to anyone seeking reliable care for their cherished pets.

Maeve is the modern day Mary Poppins. She arrived prepared and ready to take on the house and pet duties without hesitation. She was 100% reliable, dependable, attentive and every other adjective to describe someone you would feel at ease leaving your home and pets with. She was a joy to have in our home and my dogs are missing her right now. I cannot say enough good things about the care she took of our babies as well as the daily status and pics she sent. Our home was pristine when we arrived back and she left us a homemade meal and snacks for our late return. Maeve was our very first housesitter via zeewoi, and I'm afraid she's set the bar to a height that we'll be challenged to ever find again. It was a phenomenal experience for us and our pets!
