Malin & Chris were amazing, greeted us with so much warmth and their house is so lovely. We loved our sit, got really attached to their beutiful bengal cats and had a relaxing time in a gorgeous Swedish setting. I cannot recommend enough their house and the area for a relaxing escape from the city.
Saheli Godiva is a gem! She is a gentle, sweet natured and loving dog. She has a schedule and will quietly remind you when it’s time to walk, eat and nap (which she’s an expert on) LOL. Her neighborhood is quiet, shady and filled with wildlife - plenty of deer, egrets and tortoise’s grazing and sunning near the pond in back. During her walks she’s a quiet observer, happily sniffing about, and giving little heed to other dogs - she’s royalty & knows it! At home she’s attentive and always nearby - ready for a scratch or belly rub. Supna’s home is cozy, the kitchen is well appointed and the living spaces are welcoming. She and her husband gave me all of the necessary info about Saheli’s care beforehand, as we met briefly beforehand; this allowed me to walk Saheli and get to know her before the family left. This also gave me the opportunity to ask any questions and ensure, I was clear about their expectations for Saheli’s (and their home’s) care. Palm Harbor is a great locale - near to Dunedin, Tarpon Springs and Caledesi Island - a pristine barrier island with crystal water and fantastic sunsets. Also, the Pinellas Trail is literally ‘around the corner’ —it’s a bike/walk/run trail that paved and takes you through the county. Saheli and family made this a highly recommended pet sit, with local beaches and nearby amenities that made it even more enjoyable.
Cheryl is super sweet and communicative; and her home is bright, clean, and comfortable. Kate and Huck are easy to walk and very friendly. I would sit for Cheryl and the pups again anytime!
We arrived at Catherine and Stan's beautiful house full of enthusiasm as we'd chatted on a video call earlier and knew they were exactly the people we wanted to spend time with. Unfortunately the cats were too busy sleeping to join the video conversation but they looked after us really well when we arrived. The house is superb with beautiful views and everything needed for your stay. The village is just a few minutes walk away. Our bed was extremely comfortable, the lounge and kitchen were just great and the whole house was spotlessly clean. We were a few months too late to use the pool but it looked very inviting even though it was covered..! Both the cats and chickens were very high maintenance.... NOT...!! The chickens supplied some eggs every day and the felines were very friendly towards us, especially when they tried to convince us they had not been fed. Our hosts kindly offered us lunch on our last the day before we headed off home. We really felt as though we had know Cathy and Stan for ages and were very sorry to leave. They have invited us back next year and we'd love to return. A highly recommended sit.
It was a pleasure to meet this lovely family! I highly recommend this sit :) Aladdin and Jazz are the sweetest and most adorable dogs ever 🐶 🐕. The house is super comfy and close to a beautiful walking path by the river, and very close to the city center! Communication with Maria Júlia was great 😊. I would love to sit again 🥰
Loved staying at Stephanie’s! She is a lovely person with a lovely kitty. Kuda is such a sweet boy. He will talk to you if you give him some sweet words. Night one we were in a cuddle puddle for bedtime. He really loves to be outside with you by your side and look at the birds around the apartment. He is easy going and loves to be where you are :) The space is a plus, located in a great spot uptown. It was nice to sit on the balcony with kids and listen to the birds while reading. Overall- great experience and would recommend!
