A lovely pet/house sit in a beautiful Cotswold village. The pet family Piper,Rosie, Luna & Biscuit were sweet, funny and easy to look after. Lots of gorgeous walks right on the doorstep and a nice village pub. Many places to visit. Hettys home was charming and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this pet/house sit!

Bruno and Boomer were great! Bruno has a lot of energy and you have to watch food around boomer but they are really sweet. They love a good long walk or a hike on one of the many trails nearby. Milo is super easy and a pretty social cat. The bunny is adorable and so soft, also really easy. The house is beautiful in a great location and also has a really nice hot tub.
Housesitting for Christine was such a wonderful experience! The house is beautiful and we were very comfortable there. Mabel and Felix were super friendly and easy to care for. Christine left us detailed notes about their needs and all the information we needed to enjoy our stay and care for the house and pets. Mabel is very well behaved and a joy to hang out with, whether we were lounging out in the sun room, taking walks in the nearby park, or soaking in sunshine in the backyard. Felix is very friendly and loved to follow us around the house, even relaxing with us in the backyard on a harness and leash. He loved chasing his feather toy, cuddling on the couch, and laying on top of the mantle to watch us throughout the day. Overall we felt that this stay was restful and we're looking forward to coming back for a future house-sit!
We thoroughly enjoyed this sit, Courtney & Andrew were very welcoming and the entire process felt very seamless. You could not ask for more from the apartment and location, clean and organised with all the facilities we could ask for, plus their area in De Pijp is perfect for strolling around the area enjoying the local Amsterdam atmosphere. Kitty makes you work for her affection but is very forthcoming after you've earned her trust, and we more than missed her when we had to leave. Overall a very worthwhile sit.

Since 20 Apr 2022, I have been utilizing the services there. Previously I had gone to different grooming and care services for my dog. I continue to attend Dharma's Bed and Biscuit because the service is unique. How so you may wonder. Anytime schedule an appointment the service show up at my home on time. Also they are typically ahead of schedule and they will come to your home or business with their mobile unit with your permission early. That alone helps me continue get to my other daily routines. This summer 2024 the owner's main A/C unit went out of service. The owner improvised and moved all of her fur guest into an A/C garage with all their food, water, beds, cages, and other supplies. Any pets owner is aware of the unfortunate risks incurred by leaving them with just anyone while on a vacation that the pets can not travel to. The care and gentleness given by Dharma's Bed and Biscuit is rare. I highly recommend this mom and pop store.
Absolutely incredible. My dogs, as well as us humans, feel safe, secure and at peace knowing they are getting the care they so deserve. I love that it is a little oasis away from home where they can run, play and relax in the comfortable environment that is Dharma’s Bed and Breakfast. I can’t say enough positive about it! Charlie is the dog whisperer, she has an energy that is so uplifting and the animals feel it as soon as they get on the property! The grooming services are fantastic as well. They can literally do it all!!
Dharma's has become like a second home to our dog, and he always greets Charlie with happy tail wags and lots of kisses! He loves and trusts her, even though he's only been with her every few weeks for either grooming or boarding over the past 3 years. Charlie combines knowledge and experience with tons of love for the dogs she has in her home, and we know that it's been a happy, safe place for our dog. I had the best experience with Charlie! She sent me so many pictures of my sweet puppy while I was away and treated her like her very own by letting her sleep in bed with her and snuggle! Then, when I came to pick my pup up, Charlie let me know that she likely had an ear infection, and that she may have allergies and suggested a food that she could eat that is for dogs with allergies She even suggested an allergy medicine. I took my dog to the vet and she did in fact have an ear infection that luckily Charlie found way before I would have and I was able to get my pup the treatment she needs before it got any worse. I can tell that Charlie really really loved my pet as much as I do and I would absolutely use her services again. She is so wonderful!
By far one of the best experiences I’ve had with our furry family members. Our dogs love Charlie and there is truly something special about her household. All the visitors get along well and it’s so nice to have someone as passionate about taking care of your pets as Charlie. Dharma’s Bed and Biscuit is part of our family as long as they’ll have us! Charlie has been taking care of our pups grooming needs for a while now. She just watched our pup while we went out of town for Thanksgiving! We have never left our pup before. She sent pics of him having fun everyday and really put us at ease with how attentive she was to our fur baby. I will definitely use her services again when we go out of town.

Charlie is truly a Dog Whisperer. She gave me some really helpful tips on caring for my dog Abby. Type of food to use and amount. My dog Miso started attending daycare last week at Good Dog at the Pearl. Staff is beyond friendly and takes time to know the dogs. Everyday my dog was greeted by name by multiple employees. I can truly trust that my dog is safe and well taken care of. Plus they post on social which helps give me peace of mind and see what fun activities she’s doing during her stay.
My dog has been coming here since they pretty much opened. I love how personal they are with each dog, they know each dog, they know each dogs traits. They know who the dogs best play with. Lately since they’ve gotten a bit busier seems almost impossible to take my dog to the daycare since boarding gets first priority and considering the area the daycare is at, makes sense. That part does frustrate me, especially since I’ve been going since they first opened their doors. But I’m also proud of everyone and the business for growing as it has. I’ve tried other daycares only bc it is closer to my side of town, and I always find myself going back here for the good of my dog. Her happiness and excitement when she first picks up the smell of going to the building is something no other daycare has provided for her. If you want the “mom and pop” feel of a daycare that truly loves your dog(s) and isn’t transactional like most others, this is the place to come! Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Good Dog for daycare and boarding! They take great care of my elderly schnauzer who can be a bit high needs. The employees always recognize my dog, show her lots of attention, and give me an end of visit report. My dog is always excited to see her Good Dog friends (human and furry ones)! They are attentive with giving her medications when she does boarding and sensitive to her moody old age. Additionally, they offer flexible pickup and drop off windows that work well with my busy schedule. I feel so lucky to have found this place!!
My dogs spent the last week at Good Dog Boarding and Walks and had a great time! It was the most relaxed home coming they usually go nuts for me! Clearly they got lots of love! We had a little emergency and the manger Casey and her team took excellent care of Leo and made sure I knew immediately what was going on! Our dog is absolutely obsessed with Good Dog. We live nearby, and he mopes and stares on days he doesn’t get to go see his friends. As soon as he knows he’s going, he sits to put his leash on and runs when the gate opens. The employees always receive him with just as much love as he gives them. We’ve been taking Waffles for almost 9 months now, I think, and he never seems to grow board of it. I think it also speaks well that he started going as a pretty young dude, and now has very good manners around other dogs. They also do cute things like holiday parties, enrichment play, and lots of social media posts. We love seeing updates about our boy.
Good Dog at the Pearl has been a lifesaver for me! My dog absolutely loves to go to doggy daycare and has so much fun and comes home tired and ready to sleep. Good Dog also provides services to pick-up and drop-off your dog at home, and this has been so helpful. All the individuals I have encountered at Good Dog have shown how much they care for my dog. For example, my dog is not one to run up to strangers in public, but he saw individuals from Good Dog when we were out for a walk and he ran up to them immediately wagging his tail. My dog is always excited to go and spend the day there. I would highly recommend Good Dog if you are in need of care for your dog!
Good Dog is the absolute best. When we moved to SA we were worried about finding a place for our new puppy to play during the day. We were so lucky to find Good Dog. They have the best workers who care about your dog and treat him/her like their own. They are flexible with scheduling and even offer a pick up / drop off option , which for us is a major plus and are so grateful for. Our pup absolutely loves it there and so do we. Some days too, we can even get her freshened up with some of their puppy spa offerings!!!! Thank you to Good Dog for taking such amazing care of our little one. You guys make us feel like family. ive only used daycare so far! i only wish i could spy on my dog while shes there lol but i trust that shes in good hands. i used a different company for boarding that did have cameras but it was only in the play area and the employees hardly engaged with the dogs + there were very little toys/activities for them to use. i would at least like the option like at Good Dog where i can pay extra for my dog to have 1:1 attention and exercise. the employees know my girl by name and anytime i email to add on additional services, theyre able to get it done. same thing w last minute booking, ive had great luck w this thus far. i do wish they had a bell in the lobby so i could get the employees attention when dropping off. its only been a problem once where i came in pretty much right when they opened and understandably, no one was at the counter, but since i was in a rush i think i noticed it more. fyi you only get a few pics or vids (usually 1) that are posted on their instagram, maybe sent via email if uploading/attaching allows. because of this, i may use rover in the future just so theres even more attention, photos & updates to go around (because im crazy & obsessed) but this is a great option for me right now, especially for daycare services
I took my dog here for day care and she had a blast !! The staff genuinely adores dogs and the playground is clean and cute with fans outside.
Our dog loved her first ever day at day care and I'm so glad we choose good dog. She had a fun day playing and I got a couple of really cute updates. She was well looked after, had lots of fun with the other pups and came back super tired... which is exactly what we had hoped for. She can be a bit scared of new people and they gave her enough space to feel comfortable and ease in, she had a wonderful time. We've booked her in again already and I'm sure she will now be a regular visitor!
I have never boarded my babies before, they are not crated at home ever… and I was so stressed that they would think they were back at a shelter. I couldn’t find an in-home dog sitter that I felt comfortable with, so I was referred to Jo and her team. She dealt with my endless messaging about how they’re doing, and when I returned a week later, they were calm, happy, and were in great shape. I asked Jo to send me some pictures and video to show me what their accommodations were like, and she did, and everybody looked happy. So I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation with my family. I highly recommend this place.
Karma’s is the best! We fully trust them with our pupper and highly recommend them. They are extremely flexible with requests and the pup is always happy to stay with them. 5/5 stars for pet boarding and daycare on the NE side of SA.
My dog Saturn loved his trip to Karma’s Spaw! He got a bath and a nail trim. It was his first time at a groomer, but they assured me it was all gonna be good. They did great on his nails and he’s super soft now! Jo is really helpful and very welcoming. Definitely coming back.
Was referred to Karma’s Cozy Kennal by the Windcrest Animal control (nice lady) and we found “Jake”. The couple that run this place are awesome!! Very smart on dog behavior and suggestions for questions we had. It was only $25 to adopt Jake, and if he didn’t work out, we could return him. He is a bit wild, but we love him already, as the pictures show. He gets along great with our older catahoula pit, Mylie too. We have recently brought Jake and Mylie back to them to cut their nails. They both came out, one held the dogs while the other cut them. Now, our Mylie is old and doesn’t like ANYBODY, she loved them, with no tail between her legs, and the lady ( I think her name is Jo) walk her a bit! We were astounded! I would bring our furbabies there, for sure if we go on vacation. Also, they accept donations too. We are going to bring old towels, blankets and dog food. So grateful! Thank you Jo and hubby AND the nice lady at the Windcrest Police station that ran animal control!

I took my newest rescue dog to Karma’s for a bath (he was pretty smelly) and a nail trim, when I got him back he was SOOO soft and happy, and he smelled so much better! They did a great job with him and took such good care of my boy Louie! I’ll always recommend Karma’s to anyone looking for a grooming or place to board their dog!

I moved to Texas at 19 with my rabbit and Karmas Cozy Kennel has helped me better care for my pet from simple things like helping me with his nails to offering us to bring him in last minute when my AC broke. I took my Bella very frequently during these last 2 years due to work (daily visits) and/or weekend trips (boarding). Bella was loved and taken care of here, and price was fair. This is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my 2 dogs. They have stayed here about 8-10 times and every time I have dropped them off and picked them up they are always so happy! They never seem stressed, depressed, or anxious. Communication is always good with drop off and pick up, and they will send you pictures of your animals/give you updates on them as well!
I go to a lot of trouble and drive hundreds of miles out of the way so we can go visit "Aunt Jakki" a few times a year. I should find somewhere closer, but the little one is so comfortable and had so many interesting friends to meet and has so much fun that we just don't want to go anywhere else. She is loved and cared for in her home away from home far more than she would be anywhere else, so we will probably keep coming to Aunt Jakki's for many more years. You can too,!
They were accommodating when two dozen other places would not be. I'm dropping my baby off tomorrow and will update this but I have high expectations and I truly believe she will outdo even those. Update: Years later and still my go to spot for boarding and daycare, just remember to get the pets bath before pickup

I took my dog to Home 2 Home for a 4 day stay. I couldn't be happier with my experience. He had a ton of fun and was well taken care of. Prices were extremely reasonable and the service was better than bigger boarding and daycare. I will be using Home 2 Home every time I need someone to look after my boy.

Great place for Daycare and/or Boarding for your dog or dogs. My dogs love it there and start barking when we enter her driveway. Taylor is very friendly and she is really good with the dogs. She will know what your dogs needs are and makes sure they have a good time. Your dogs will make lots of friends at Goodiecookie's Pet Resort.
Mrs. Goodiecookies is the best!! My dogs start whining when I just turn on the street. They go nuts the closer we get. The absolute best place ever!
Taylor is amazing!! Our American Eskimo is 15 years old. I never have to worry about her meds, food, play time and lots of attention!!! Tikkanna loves going there and looks forward to playing with her friends!

Our beasts loved going here. Whenever we got to the road near the kennel they would start bouncing in the car. This place is a labor of love. Taylor the owner truly loves dogs and was always willing to help us out. Dogs spend most their time outside in a fenced in property. She gets to know the dogs and their personality and what they like. She even sent us pictures when we requested it. Not mention she has the best prices I found in the San Antonio area.
I have been taking my doggies to Mrs. Goodiecookie's pet resort for years. I trust her care with my doggies totally. Her personally is great never had to worry about my dogs. I have used Mrs. Goodiecookie's Pet Resort several times over the last few years and we have had an excellent experience every time. We have boarded a puppy and our senior citizen and they get lots of love and attention while we are gone. It is the only place we trust to take good care of our pups while we are gone!
I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! This place gives me the ease of knowing my dogs are well cared for. They actually care about your dogs and treat them as if they were their own. I occasionally board my dogs here, however, I take them twice a week for doggie daycare and they get excited everytime we pull up to Mrs. Goodiecookie's. They love to play with the other dogs and they love the owner (Tayler). One of the few places where the owner has hands-on service with your dog. If you want a place that makes you and your dog happy, this is the place to go!
We have been customers here for close to a decade and can say without hesitation that Tayler takes wonderful care of our dogs when they stay, whether it be for doggie day care or extended stays. They are excited when we arrive and run to the door with tails wagging eager to get in. We have zero problems leaving our dogs with her as we know they get excellent care while they're there.

Had my dog boarded over a weekend. They took care of my pup. He also got groomed the day I picked him up. I'm only giving 3 stars because my dog was being weird when he got home. He was not putting weight on some of his paws. I investigated and found sticker burrs in between his paws pads. He probably had about 8 of them. I don't have any in my backyard, so I know he got them while he stayed at the resort. Edit review: changed to 4 stars. I'm still not sure where my dog got the burrs from. Either than that the staff was friendly and took great care of my dog.
I've had to board my dogs a few times. They always keep me in the loop and let me ine if anything seems off. They let two of them stay together since one gets nervous alone. Would recommend and will use again when needed.
I have been bringing my 3 fur babies to Puppy Power since 2018 and they have always treated them with the utmost care. I love how much they love my dogs! My dogs prefer the one on one interaction with the helpful staff and playing with smaller groups so this place is perfect if other larger facilities are too overwhelming for your pup.

My baby seems to have a good experience when he goes here for grooming. He’s been a couple of time over the past two yrs this last time I paid for the de shedding products but hair was falling off of him. I had to brush him and he’s still shedding. So a bit disappointed. Going to try one or two more places before I make a final decision. Staff is always pleasant and courteous. That alone says so much.
We boarded our dogs (Shitzu Yorkie & Terrier mix) for the holiday. They were both pretty shaggy looking & their nails were...whoo! They came back to us looking like new money!! So cute
I can't say enough positive things about this place. My dog is not social with other dogs and not even good with other humans. Finding a boarding place for him in the past was hard but I've been boarding him here for years now and he loves it. The people that work here are always friendly and I think they take really great care of the dogs. I've moved all around the area but no matter how far away I've lived, I always board him here. 10/10 would recommend.

Our pup gets the best care, cuddles, and exercise during the day while we’re working. The team also provides thorough updates on each visit. And we had wonderful experience with overnight stays. So thankful we found Metro Pup shortly after we moved to the area! The doggie smiles say it all!

I used MetroPupSA over the Christmas holiday to watch my three large dogs in my home and was extremely impressed with the service. Metro Pup was a life-saver and fantastic addition to our wedding! We contacted Eric a month out when we decided last-minute to bring our dog to our destination wedding in San Antonio. He was willing to work with our unique request for in-hotel per sitting for our dog, Luna, on our wedding date. He was fantastic with our anxious dog, and met us for a meet and greet before hand to make sure we and Luna were comfortable and set for the big day. He took Luna on lots of walks throughout the day, cuddled and played with her, helped us take fantastic wedding pictures with her, and brought her down for our cocktail hour. We cannot thank Eric and Metro Pup more for making the day seamless and comfortable for both ourselves and Luna. We highly recommend that others look in to Metro Pup San Antonio for their wedding attendant services!

Eric, Sean, & the MetroPup crew are absolutely fabulous in every way! First, as people, they give loving care to my 2 cats when I am away. My cats love them both and are always so happy to see them. When I get home my cats are never scared and always their playful selves. They much prefer visits with Eric & Sean over being boarded and I can tell every time I come home. I also appreciate the daily reports on my cats wellbeing and photos so I can see them get pets during their visits. It is so great to see them happy when I’m away. As a business, Metro Pup operates effectively and professionally. I love the app that lets me schedule visits, pay virtually, send messages and more. Eric is always very communicative and we’ve even been able to work thru a booking that was lost once due to an app issue. He fixed it immediately and made sure my kitties were taken care of (thank you!). I am confident communication with him will work things out smoothly. Plus their team is always careful in my home and respectful of the space. I very much trust them being there. The cost of service is reasonable and worth every bit. I feel very fortunate to have found MetroPup and thank Eric & Sean for being so great. I highly recommend their services.
Love this service! We know our fur babies are well taken care of when we travel. I love the app and getting updates on how each visit goes. Eric did our first trip and brought in Sarah to help on our second trip. Both are AMAZING. We will continue to use Metro Pup whenever we travel or need dog sitting/walking.
You will have a lot of choices in Pet Care but you will not find a better choice than Metro Pup SA. If you choose Metro Pup SA, your animal will become our family. The dedication that these pet care professionals will show toward your furry family will be second to none. They will provide whatever service and serve whatever type of animal that you have. One of the neatest services they offer is their wedding pet attendant. It might sound crazy, but it was very important to me to have my old man Bulldog Rufus in my wedding. Metro pup made this the easiest thing in the world. They made sure my furry son was on time and in the exact place. They walked him down the aisle and made sure he stayed in the right place throughout the wedding. They were perfect and turned what could have been something that made a stressful day harder, and made it seamless. I could not give this service any higher of a recommendation. Give these caretakers a chance and you will never go anywhere else. Peace of mind is priceless.
Metro Pup stands out from the pack as hands-down the best dog walkers we have ever had in our 3 years in San Antonio (or elsewhere for that matter). From the first meet and greet session, we knew our dog Ghost was going to be fast friends with Gerrit. Every day, Ghost waited eagerly by the door for his buddy to arrive for their daily walk. Gerrit always treated Ghost like family, giving him the time he needed to sniff the flowers, a treat when he returned, a clean water bowl, and lots of belly scratches. After the walk, we would always receive a nice little summary of the walk accompanied by awesome photos (examples below). In the rare instance Gerrit couldn't be there, Eric and the rest of the MetroPup team could be counted on to fill in. Never did we have to scramble to find a last-minute walker or worry about putting our pup in the hands of a complete stranger. The app they use (Time To Pet) makes scheduling appointments, communicating with the team, and receiving photos of the walk a breeze. I have absolutely zero hesitation in recommending Metro Pup to anyone who needs a dog walker in San Antonio. As we move away, I know that Ghost is going to miss his buddy and we will miss the peace of mind that Metro Pup provided.
Metro Pup has been pet sitting for me for 2 years. They always go above and beyond the level of service I expect. I book their service with no reservations at all. It is nice being able to go out of town and know your animals are safe. They regularly cat sit for me (Wes loves them) and sometimes dog walk for me. Both services are exemplary! You won't be disappointed.
We had her come take care of our cats twice a day for 10 days. She did a great job and they were happy when we came back :)
