Cat Sitters in Martock

Ami sent daily updates with photos , keeping us informed and worry free while on holiday, we came home to a very tidy house, the bedding and towels all washed & drying. A nice gift of flowers & chocolate cake for our return. Would highly recommend Ami, Luke & Jordan and will look forward to welcoming them again for another stay.

It was a real pleasure to have John house-sit for us for a week over Christmas. He was completely undaunted by our collection of dogs, cats and chickens and we were able to leave everything in his very capable hands and enjoy our holiday. We returned to a spotlessly clean and tidy house and happy animals (thank you John!).

Emily was with our pets Jimmy the cat and Carola, our dog for a 2 month stay while we were away in Spain. She was wonderful with them and they were well cared for and happy when we returned. Emily fell ill her first week sitting but we were able to send Carola to a local dog-walker/sitter for a few days while she rested and recuperated from a very bad flu. Jimmy stayed home and kept her company. Cats are easier to care for even when sick. The house was in order also with the aid of our housekeeper who helped out and knows exactly how and where things are kept and organized. Not speaking Italian may have been somewhat of an issue when problems arose but we have very helpful neighbors, hence the 4 star for self-sufficiency due to the language barrier. I'm certain she's perfectly self sufficient in English speaking situations. We did have an electrical problem when a fuse unexpectedly blew and a heating issue, both resolved within 24 hours or less. Unfortunately Emily was without heat during that time and we suggested she use the small space heater until the problem could be resolved. Always good to have emergency back-ups in place. I was able to reset the date/time for heating system with Emily by phone using whatsapp. We regularly received photos of her walks and park runs with Carola. Also photos of Jimmy snugggling up to her. The pets were obviously content during our absence and spoiled with brushings, treats and lots of love. Emily kindly bought us some breakfast foods when we returned which was very considerate. Emily is a reliable and attentive sitter. Your pets are in good hands with her!

Antonio is such a lovely person who obviously loves animals and enjoys meeting their owners. He's become a real friend and is welcome back anytime.

Faye, David and family were brilliant house/pet sitters - they left the house cleaner than when they arrived, including washing bed linens/towels. We have a very nervous cat and she was very happy and content when we got home, so she had been looked after very well! Highly recommend as sitters!!

Lucy looked after our two cats and two dogs for the last couple of weeks while we were on holiday. We found her to be well organised, always quick to respond and more importantly to us - had a great rapport with all the animals. We’re always slightly concerned about leaving the dogs - one suffers from separation anxiety (lockdown pup) and the other is quite nervous but we needn’t have worried. Lucy bonded with both dogs fairly soon after arrival. While away Lucy sent us regular updates and reassuring photographs. One of the dogs had a small wound which needed attention and Lucy was quick to deal with it. The girls absolutely loved having her to stay. If you’re lucky enough to be chosen by Lucy for a housesit - don’t hesitate! Big Bear is going to be extremely disappointed to be sleeping in her own bed tonight! Thanks so much Lucy. Claire and Stephen were the perfect house sitters. They were entirely self sufficient, sensitive to our requirements, very good at keeping us informed / sharing photos and finally, hugely flexible when circumstances unexpectedly changed towards the end of their sit. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Becky was the perfect house and pet sitter! I find it really hard leaving my pets with anyone but felt absolutely at ease whilst I was away in full knowledge that they were being looked after perfectly. Becky kept in contact with photos and news about Fremmy and Mowgli and on top of her perfect pet sitting she left the house spotless!

Kelly was brilliant, she came to visit us before the sit, as we were not able to handover on the day. Great communication before and during the sit. The dogs were very happy and well looked after and loved. Kelly left the house just as we had left it (possibly cleaner). I would highly recommend Kelly, and look forward to her sitting for us again.

Joe and Laura were absolutely great housesitters, who we would welcome back any time. The pets were all super happy and clearly had been very well loved while we were away! The house was also immaculately tidy too, we would recommend Joe and Laura without hesitation.
